The Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant

Greatest brunch. Love trying new things. The scotch eggs were amazing! The brunch course leaves you needing nothing more yet is light enough no nap required after ;). If you’re looking for that ambiance for you and your special someone or a great place for brunch—this place is a must!

My husband and I spent a weekend away in Midway and wanted a nice dinner so we stopped at this restaurant. It’s a very nice and fun looking restaurant. Lots of fun detail in their decor. We didn’t realize it didn’t open until 5:30 pm but they let us come in and sit down as we got there about 15 minutes early. All the servers and waitresses are very kind.

We started out with the Porter and smoked Gouda fondue and it was excellent! The sides to dip in it were so tasty. We really love the shishito peppers.

For the main dish I got filet mignon. I actually didn’t love it as it wasn’t my favorite taste, but the mashed potatoes and carrots were tasty.

The highlight of the meal for me were the desserts. The crème brûlée was excellent and we got the fruit sorbet which was açai and it was so tasty and it was in an almond Florentine cup which was such fun presentation and tasted delicious!

We came to The Blue Boar Inn to eat, not for lodging. It was one of the nicer places we could find in the Heber Valley and we decided to have a late Valentine's dinner here. This small old-style European chateau was a beautiful, cozy, and romantic place to enjoy a dinner together. The food was also very good with the standout dishes being the fondue and the schnitzel.

We just had Sunday brunch here. What a lovely place! The staff were friendly and kind, the food full of flavor and the quiet atmosphere quiet and cozy. We loved it.
(We didn't stay in the hotel.)

Throughout the evening dining at the Blue Boar Restaurant, I must have uttered the word "exceptional" to my wife five or six times. From appetizers to entrees and later desserts, not a single misstep. Everything, including the service, was on point. The ambience is warm and inviting ... and the food. The food is to die for! I seriously can't think of a better dining experience I've had in Utah.

I have been wanting to eat here for several months and finally planned a date to come here! Everything from the exterior, interior, restrooms etc is purely European and meticulously maintained. It is such a beautiful property and I hope to stay in one of the rooms sometime. The entire wait staff was very friendly and provided great service all around. The food was absolutely perfect from start to finish having the burrata, chicken scallopini, salmon arugula salad, and carrot spice cake. The chef and kitchen staff did an excellent job with the menu and dishes with zero complaints on everything. This is my new favorite restaurant and I look forward to returning often!

Delicious meal at The Blue Boar Restaurant. The fondue was irresistible and enjoyed my pork schnitzel very much. Warm and cozy dining area made for a memorable dining experience.

My wife and I ate several meals here and wished that we knew about it earlier so that we could have stayed there. The service was great. The food was Amazing. The cleanliness was top notch. The Switzerland theme is beautifully done. The staff is great and hard working. This place is one of the best places that we ever ate at.

The BB restaurant is our local favorite! Always a delicious meal, consistently great experience. We love the Blue Boar all year long! Highly recommend 🤍🤍🤍

Such a great atmosphere. The room was great and the bed was super comfy and cozy. The restaurant is a bit on the pricey side, but the food was great and the portions are the perfect size. I would highly recommend staying here.

Wow, we went to Midway Utah. Wanted to experience an amazing drive with good friends and good food. We find the Blue Bore Inn, heard the food was good, and the views were amazing. Our friends told the truth. The food was good, the steak and fries were good, the soup was so good, the Rubin was freaking good. Well done, Blue Bore Inn. I thought the decorations of the place were fun and entertaining. I dont drink, but the little pub was awesome. A must-see, the town was fun!! Glad we made the drive.

The food is phenomenal. It might take a minute, but it is worth the wait.
We went for breakfast and had the salmon and French toast. Both were outstanding!
As far as service, it took a while for us to be acknowledged, but the waiter was nice once he came around.

We had dinner here with friends. The service, ambience and food was all 5 star. We love this place! We will be coming back soon!

My eyes rolled into the back of my head. The food was spectacular. We got the Halibut and the sweet potato ravioli.

It was absolutely amazing. Every detail, the service, the food. Incredible. An amazing experience and I can't express the wonderful experience we had.

I had the Scotch Eggs for the first time and they were so awesome. We are on vacation and definitely would recommend it.

We did not stay at the inn, but ate at the restaurant, and it was excellent. I had the trout, and my wife had the chicken piccata. Both were fantastic! The restaurant was beautiful and very enjoyable, especially with the view of the heavier, beautiful snowfall this year. Service was appropriately attentive and very friendly. Respectable wine list. Great Winter Olympics memorabilia and fun decor.
Great experience, and we will be back!
