I am a registered nurse, I have been coming to Dr. Allen for several years. for the first few years I only received Botox from him. I am now 54 years old and looking for a little more help. I appreciate Dr. Allen because he is honest with me about the products. I have always asked for specific details about how the products work and what specific risks there are with each.
I have now had 3 treatments of Scultra and have noticed a real difference in my skin texture and lift around my cheeks and temples. I recently had one treatment of Bellafill, other than a bruised eye I was very pleased with the product.
I appreciate having a provider who is both knowledgeable and a very good clinician. Dr. Allen also recognizes me as a person in the medical field and has always offered me a professional courtesy price.

Experience with sculptra, laser for sun spots, and botox have been my "go-to" procedures. George has made the processes comfortable and explained the expectations clearly. His prices are fantastic and fair. He definitely understands the face and the best look for you. He helped me achieve my youthful feel and made it look natural as well. I highly recommend you try him and his facility, as I've experienced his nurse practitioner too who is lovely and fast!

I used to see dr. Allen before for botox and once for a filler. In January, 2019 I purchased a package of Bellafill fillers and Mary injected 3 fillers in me including under the eyes. She did a good job and overall I am happy. I was super scared to do Bellafill under the eyes as it can develop bags if not properly injected. But, it went well for me with good results. thank you

I am a licensed mental health therapist is the Vancouver, WA area. I seeked Dr. Allen for botox, bellafil to lift my brows so my eyes are more open, and lip infection to get them back to their natural fullness since I am now 52!!

I have been to 4 other injectors. I am very pleased with the Cannula single needle procedure that decreases swelling and gives minimal bruising.

Dr. Allen is kind, compassionate and a true expert at what he does. I also appreciate that he gives excellent consultation to work with the individual client's need and finances.

I have the best experience with Nu-u: easy to make an appointment, friendly staff, very pleasant environment. I have been getting various fillers by Mary. She is extremely handy, experienced and professional. I like that she helps me figuring out a plan that makes sense to me esthetically and financially before each procedure. I have been coming to NU U Laser for about 7 months and he was very thorough in explaining each procedure and the process. I have been using Sculptra and the results have been magnificent - I look younger and suppleness is back in my face. People dont believe my age and it has been great for my over all appearance. I appreciate Dr. Allen and his staff, have always been professiobal in all theier services. I would recommend this place for all your cosmetic needs, Sculptra has been improved my confidence.

I came to Dr. Allen to inquire about botox and fillers. After discussing my options I decided to go with Bellafill & I absolutely love it! I can see immediate results & am excited to see the continuing results. I've also had Kybella & Botox & I feel at least 10 years younger. In addition to Dr. Allen, Nurse Practitioner Arwa Salti is also amazing & I will continue to be a patient for many years to come! Friendly staff & very welcoming!

I have being seen by Dr. Allen for over 5 years and would go to no one else for my aesthetic needs. I have had Sculptra, Bellafil, Juvederm, and Dysport. Everything he suggests is spot on and the results are perfect. Does not push for unnecessary treatments and nothing is overdone. He has turned back the clock and brought back my confidence. Dr. Allen is very professional, but warm and personable. You do not have to wait for appt., which is unusual these days and much appreciated. Highly recommend.

I have visited Nu U Laser Center's Beaverton office on numerous visits, having Sculptra, filler, and dysport treatments. I have always had very friendly and excellent service from Dr. Allen and his entire staff and have referred friends as well, who have also been pleased with their services, and am pleased with the results from all treatments I've received.

My experience with this doctor has been outstanding. My reason for going in is not for wrinkles but for psoriasis. I read online that using botox for psoriasis may work. I asked Dr. Allen if he can help with my issue. He was very accommodating and used botox for the areas I was affected by psoriasis. That was around my forehead, shoulder, and arm. I will not even consider going to another doctor for this treatment as he was so knowledgeable and curious. He gave me a discount so that we can see the affects of botox. I have been going to him for 2 years now and will not go anywhere. I highly recommend this doctor.

I had the CO2 procedure done by Dr. Allen 6 years ago to remove some dark shading on my face and neck. I was amazed at the outcome and it made me look several years younger! My face was so smooth and dewey looking. I am considering having the procedure again because the results were so fantastic.

Mary at Nu U Laser center was AWESOME!! On time , fast and pain free!!🎉 she’s professional and an absolute doll. The entire staff was great . I will definitely be referring her to all my friends and clients from my salon .

Excellent advice and service from Stephen -- suggested to go with Bellafill, Sculptra and micro peel facial and the results are getting better and better each visit. Educated staff, and better package deals than anywhere in Portland.

I have been coming to Dr. Allen since summer of 2016. He has always educated me on the options he offers so I can make the best decision for myself. I started with a series of Sculptra which dramatically change the appearance of my skin. I have now tried Bellafill and also loving the results. Dr. Allen's work is his passion and he takes everyone's individual needs in to consideration before making his recommendation. He takes his time and listens you my needs. I think he is a fabulous doctor and would recommend him to anyone seeking skin rejuvenation.

I have been going to Dr. Allen's office (on and off) since I moved to the PNW 5 years ago. I would usually see him only about once a year, but this past year I was getting my injections in Southern California (it's less expensive and more accessible!), so I was unaware of all the legal trouble he has faced. While I found Dr. Allen to be flirtatious and complimentary on occasion, I never found him offensive or experienced any sexual harassment. He also did great work.

Anyhow, I did not realize that he was no longer able to perform the services in his office; I thought he had simply hired an assistant (Mary) who would be equally qualified to uphold his standard of service. Needless to say, this was the most uncomfortable, unpleasant and unprofessional experience I've had with a cosmetic provider (and I've been to many providers--both locally and nationally--for injections).

I should have known something was up when I went in and the office was empty. Dr. Allen always had other patients waiting in the lobby on every other visit I've ever had with him in the past. I met with Mary for my consultation and explained exactly what I wanted. She didn't listen, proceeded to try to sell Sculptra to me for 15 minutes, despite me telling her exactly what I wanted. Finally, when I insisted I was not interested in Sculptra, she RELUCTANTLY agreed (almost with an attitude) to give me some Restylane, and dryly told me I would see some "very slight results." I came in prepared to spend $1500, and she was completely incapable of securing my confidence. She admonished me for no reason (kept telling me what she would REFUSE to do, how it was her job to "educate me," even though I wasn't asking her to do what she kept refusing), and honestly she didn't seem very knowledgeable. She seemed very insecure and like she could have possibly been on meds. She said she would NEVER ever put Radiesse on the cheekbone area (after I told her I had extreme success w/it) because it was "too soft," .... a simple Google search will show you she has no idea what she is talking about.

I told her I was having an unpleasant experience and felt that it was very difficult to communicate with her (the entire conversation and her vibes were just way OFF), and decided that we should not proceed with any services. At that point, she got up and literally stormed out of the room. I asked the lady who was in the room as a witness if Dr. Allen was available to do the injections (not knowing he cannot legally perform them anymore), and which point Mary rushes back into the room and practically yelled at me in a very sarcastic tone, with her arms crossed, that she is the one who does the injections now! She did not seem stable; nor did she seem to have the temperament for the job. I thanked her for her time and left.

I would not recommend Mary or this office to anyone (do a Google search of the legal issues Dr. Allen is facing, and read the other recent reviews). It's too bad that she has NONE of Dr. Allen's talent or skill at building rapport and ensuring patient confidence. After a consultation which took entirely too long (I think she likes hearing herself talk) and left me feeling very doubtful, I do not recommend this office.

Okay yes my first visit years ago to Dr Allen’s office I gave him a great review. Well, things have changed significantly he’s creepy and grooms patients for his unwanted touching and invasion of patients personal space. My last visit Dr. Allen took the uninvited liberty to kiss my face not once, not twice but three times. I wasn’t sure what the heck was going down it made me VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. So much so that I made the decision to not return. Although I had a situation with a Groupon I purchased for $860 for smart eyes laser treatment. So I was nervous about losing my money so I called his accounting department his office staff told me that she could see that I had two unused Groupons on my account and that they would remain there until the procedure and appointment was completed. Dr Allen told me at my May 2017 appt to just wait on the smart eyes laser treatment he would perform that sometime in the winter. Well after all this publicity of sexual harassment I now know I’m not crazy or alone. I contacted his office for a refund of my money and apparently he took upon himself to steal my money without providing the services that he requested I wait months before making appointment to have procedure done. So he’s a thief, a sexual harasser and I plan to do everything in my power to get justice.

I never give a bad review but this time I am so upsetting Nu U laser Dr. Allen and Mary treat me like that. I make a consultation with Mary in Vancouver, WA, asking to do laser for my freckles. She said it needs to take 3 times or 4 times by IPL. She said IPL will make my skin tigher, diminish my pore and get rid of freckles. She said my skin is light because I am Asian, may see result slow.
On Jan 25th, I done 1st IPL, cost $250, I felt nothing difference on my face, wait for a week, I texted Mary, she said that is a good sign and said trust her. On Feb 22nd, Mary changed the other laser machine to do my face, she said this machine stronger , focus on freckles, I TRUST her but it only a dew spots of face get darker, after 2 days, the brown spot still there, not lighter, I paid $250 again. I called the office on Mar 15th, told them I SPENT total $500 and no any result on my freckles, I want talk to Dr. Allen, the receptionist said Dr. ALLEN will not talk to me , also said I can come to office to talk to Mary, she is the one to make decision dor for you. I said ok and schedule on Mar 28.
On Mar 16th, Nu U Laser Center sent me email said ask me to go somewhere else, they have canceled all my appointment. WHAT? Dr. Allen this is the way you treat your customers? Your company took my money and drop me. I don't know how many customers to be treated like that but this NU U Laser Center is dishonestly and bad service to customer.
I asked the other laser center after they sent me email to drop me, IPL is not suitable for Asian. How come your company didn't tell me at the consultation, obviously your company just want to EARN MONEY and then drop the customers or your company is no professional knowledges at all. I paid $500 and got NOT RESULT. If you were me, will you be happy Nu U Laser Center treat customer this way???

First of all he is not a plastic surgeon or licensed to do any types of cosmetic procedures. He has his degrees in Allergy and Immunology. I went into Nu U Laser a few months ago and received Dysport injections from a Groupon deal I had purchased and I found Dr. Allen very nice and professional. When I saw another deal for a different process, CO2 laser resurfacing, I made another appointment to have a consultation and find out if this was right for me. He swayed me away from the Laser option and told me to do the Sculptra, that it was much better and that it lasted for 5 years. He said for the cost the Sculptra was a better deal and that overall I would be much happier with the results. I felt a bit pressured because he said that the producers of Scrulptra had a special running and I'd have to get it done soon to get the discounts. I had one vial done and it was quite painful. I went home and researched it and Sculptra is only supposed to last 2 years from everything I found on the internet, so I was mislead by Dr. Allen on the length of time this was supposed to work. Then I read the horror stories about Sculptra and I was completely upset that I had it done. It stated people are getting lumps, nodules and lesions on their skin from improper usage and ratio levels of the product. Many women have to get surgeons to remove the lumps and bumps caused by it. After speaking with several plastic surgery centers they mentioned that they do not use Sculptra and do not recommend it. I feel like a dope for being pressured into doing it so quickly to get the discount (it was still $600 dollars) and for not researching Dr. Allen more thoroughly prior to getting it done. I feel betrayed by him for telling me over and over that the results would last 5 years when in reality that is a blatant lie. I can'celled all of the rest of my appointments and was given Dr. Allen's cell phone number to call him personally and haven't done so yet. Be careful and research the products and the DOCTOR that is doing your injections because this particular product can be very damaging to your face and skin if not done by an expert in cosmetology aesthetics/ plastic surgery procedures.

Absolutely awful!!! It was a good place to go until all the police activity and charges against Dr Allen. The staff that came In and took over were inexperienced and looked like something that came off a Barnum and Baileys circus truck. Way too much filler and Botox. Because I had been going to Dr Allen for several years I assumed ( yes stupid) that he hired qualified quality staff to fill in for him since he can no longer touch patients ( that’s a good thing) I scheduled an appt for a tear trough fill. She over filled and I developed lumps of the product under my eyes. I looked 100 years older not younger or refreshed. I informed the gal of the ongoing swelling and bumps and I went back in for her to evaluate. She gave me a prednisone and told me to ice the areas and she would call me the next day to check on me. I went in again because there was zero improvement after a month. She told me that it’s just my face and I really need blephorplasty. I even had her do a side by side with my before and after. It’s so obvious she messed up. I’m now scheduled to have lower surgery on my eyes to remove the calcification of product that was overfilled in my eyes and to fix the now droop I have in my lower lids. I wouldn’t send my enemy here.
