Pavement Coffee at this location has become my recent favorite for a quick and satisfying weekend breakfast. The shop buzzes with activity, especially on weekend mornings, and to avoid the usual 20-30 minute wait, I've found that placing a mobile order in advance is a savvy move.

All the bagel sandwiches I tried here were great, although they lean towards the pricier side. With the fluffy bagels laying the perfect foundation, their sandwiches come with flavorful topping combinations. The Presto Pesto is my favorite, exploding with the rich flavors of avocado and sun-dried tomato pesto. The Tequilla Sunrise bagel also brings a delightful spicy twist that wakes up my taste buds in the mornings.

Their beverages complement the breakfast fare nicely. The iced Matcha Latte strikes the right balance - it’s not overly sweet, yet just enough to overshadow the bitterness of the matcha, which I appreciate. For a sweeter start to the day, the Iced Maple Death Cream was an indulgent choice that didn’t disappoint.

Highly recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for a good breakfast options on Newbury, but make sure to order in advance if you want to dodge atrociously long lines in the mornings.

I ordered an iced maple latte and was disappointed when they said they don't have whipped cream. But, I was pleasantly surprised at how good this was. No need for whipped topping. Great flavor and not too sweet.

I got a "classic lox" sesame bagel sandwich to-go, as well as a couple of plain bagels for later. The bagels are definitely very delicious. The lox sandwich had a generous layer of plain cream cheese with lox, tomato, red & white onions, and capers. I kinda wish there maybe should be some greens (arugula? Bibb lettuce?) but the sandwich was delicious and hit the spot.
The service is friendly. The coffeehouse itself is tiny but cozy.
I haven't tried their coffee during my visit - something I will do next time.

Amazing bagel sandwich! Got the classic turkey, it exceeded my expectations! I think this was the best bagel I had in Boston- they claimed it’s homemade. Very good texture and fresh. Comparable to Brooklyn bagel! Coffee was decent! Nice vibe

I love pavement’s bagels so much. They are the only place in Boston that I know of with a vegan cream cheese. Both the veggie tofu spread and the Diablo are delicious! It’s pricey, but it’s a nice weekend treat. Newbury location gets so busy on the weekends, and I find the fellow customers to be a bit rude, but it’s still worth the pre-shopping treat!

I couldn't keep my bagel sandwich together well enough while I was eating it, but I didn't care. There was so much flavor between my bagel slices. I ordered the presto pesto on Rosemary salt and added diablo cream cheese. The cream cheese was flavor-heat, not burning-heat.

This is the right portion of food for a good lunch.

- Black coffee had a deep rich flavor. The quality was very good
- Seating options are limited. Most tables really only seat one or two. Some outdoor seating as well
- Baristas were very nice; they took the time to input a credit card number for me
- There was one shared bathroom available for use

Pesto presto? I’m not sure about the name.
I went there based on my friend’s advice and it was really delicious. Also I was there late (half an hour before they close they close) but the staff were really friendly and didn’t rush through anything. (Like what some place does!)

The first stop we made when we arrived in Boston! I loved the art on the tables & honestly was diggin' the whole vibes. The unique flavors of coffee, like the cinnamon fig latte was to die for! Who would think figs would pair well with coffee. The croissant is so flaky & just melts in your mouth.

The best coffeshop in all Boston! The staff is super nice, the food and coffe, wow, just wow!

Best bagels in the Back bay, Gets busy here, it's best to order online if you can. Breakfast sandwiches are made to order.

Great house-roasted specialty coffees, and delectable **house-made bagels** in available in this deservedly popular spot!

Have always loved this place. Got the Hummus sandwich and Spanish latte. Spanish latte is a must try. They honor artists by displaying Great art work. The vibes are derived from the Berkeley college nearby. Winters are just perfect in this coffehouse

I like 8 ounce foamy espresso drinks
When I asked for that they suggested their cappuccino since their lattes are 10 or 12 ounces

My cappuccino was smooth, foamy and tasty. And I like the cinnamon fig syrup they added to it.

Literally immaculate vibes. Whoever is on aux, you’re actually a god. Bagels, so good. Very particular with bagels and this by far is the best bagel shop in Boston this far !

Good places are usually busy, this place is very busy. Nice drink and food selection. Cappuccino was done very well. Order online!

Best coffee in the USA I just wish there were more locations in Boston and nationwide. And the presto-pesto on an everything bagel is delicious beyond description. Just go - try and u will get what I mean. As for me, when I visit boston, you guessed it, pavement is always my first choice:)
