T.J. Maxx

Compared to the boutique places nearby, this is probably the best place to get a good deal. It’s conveniently located on top of the train station, departments are spread out between three floors, and has a restroom. Items are fairly organized, but need to rummage a bit through to find good ones. Checking out during non-busy times is fairly fast. I’m not complaining but we weren’t taxed for our purchase so that’s another plus.

We stopped in to look and found two items, one on the clearance rack and the other missing a price tag. The young lady selected another similar item on sale and called downstairs to the check out manager with the item number and discounted price. So the staff were very helpful and considerate.

This location is definitely one of the better ones. Huge selection of really cute seasonal stuff

A beautiful store almost in the center of the city of Boston. I love buy its offers but it has a great variety of things you might need. I strongly recommend it. Good service with good prices.

Prices are lower than I expected, great store layout, and you get followed if they think you shoplift lol

Needed to replace a broken piece of luggage for the trip home. As usual, found the best prices here.

Always something fresh. Shoplifting has affected this location. Reduction in quantity in the men's department to allow for better monitoring. There always new products being put out.

A great place to find good quality clothes at a good price. There are also bathrooms on the second and third floors

I enjoyed shopping at this department store with very reasonable prices and a good selection of items. I was able to find some great menswear on the third floor. The women's department is located on the second floor. There are fitting rooms available where shoppers can try on items.

Had exactly what I needed for a demanding 4 year old. Good value nice clean shopping space.

Absolutely breath taking organization and neatness.

This store is pretty huge. They have an awesome luggage selection, tons of bath products, purses galore, and clothes on the second and third floors. I stop here all the time while waiting for the #1 bus and probably spend too much money but I’ve found some great items!

Store was very clean. Very happy customer greetings by employees. . Plenty of items to buy and make a wish list. Always enjoy shopping at this location because it is close to the MBTA bus stop and trolley station. I always find something to purchase.

I was very amazed by how both welcoming & inviting the modern atmosphere was (i.e. My colorful early Fall-like kitchen towels).
Ditto for our very knowledgeable & friendly staff (i.e. Using my mobile-friendly perks for some of my recent successful debit purchases & discounts similar to the Newton Highlands location too, respectively).

This is by far the nicest t.j Maxx I've ever been in my life. If every TJ Maxx were as clean and nice and located in such a amazing spot at the junction of Newberry and Boylston. The store is fantastic to grab something for a late or unexpected dinner as well as generally nicer tire than I've seen in other stores. If every TJ Maxx or is well run and gorgeous is this one I would find myself shopping they're a lot more. Great for tourists and Bostonians alike

I honestly love this store! Everything was there, you just need to dig through the stacks to find your hidden gems ;)
