El Horno Bakery

1st time in and of course we went nuts and bought a bunch of pastries plus a tres leches cake! The tres leches didn’t make it out of the parking lot. Not the best we have had but damn good. The price was a steal for all the food we had. We will definately go back and try more!

I went here with my mother to celebrate my 25th birthday! Everything was so fresh and amazing.I got some doughnuts! The sprinkled chocolate was so tasty and fresh, the dough soft to bite into. Yummy food! I appreciate the food very much,thank you for making my birthday a great one!

The chocolate oatmeal boule, cheese danish, "multis," and cinnamon yellow cake doughnuts were my favourites.

I didn't like the concha de vanilla.
I liked the oreja de chocolate but my friends did not...YMMV.
The creme filled eclair was very rich.

Distinctive Mexican baked goods and very personable owner. After dinner out at a nearby restaurant we saw this place online (looked for desserts) and decided to give it a try. Glad we did!

We got a bag full of treats for $6.50 … less than a dessert would have cost each of us at the restaurant. Since we were not familiar with the selections, the owner talked us through all the items. Wow! He even pointed out some things we might find quite different (like the donuts).

We each ate a treat in the car (couldn’t wait) and took the rest home. They were ALL delicious. Yes, even the donuts. There is no question. We will certainly return. Probably quite often.

Delicious fresh soft pan (bread & pastries) and tres leche cakes as well as flans to indulge in! Sooo delicious!!

I love this place. I get all of my cakes from here because they are beautiful and reasonable price.

I found this bakery on Wade Hampton by just googling. I walked in the door and was met with one of the nicest men who explained all of the cakes to me. Wasn’t sure what to expect. I took it to my husband‘s birthday party. When we cut into it the entire party was talking about how amazing this cake was. I took my first bite and realized exactly what they were talking about. Unbelievable! One of the best cakes I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend El Horno Bakery to anyone looking for great quality cakes and desserts. Great service as well.

WOW! I stumbled upon this place today and SO GLAD I did! I loaded up with quite a variety of their amazing looking pastries and LOVE what I've sampled so far! The young lady in the shop this afternoon was so kind answering my questions. I WILL be back and I'm looking forward to trying even more of their beautiful pastry selections!

He was so helpful and so glad he had cakes. Got my daughter's birthday cake there today!! And I haven't tasted it yet but it looked wonderful!!I had called a few bakery and they said they had to be pre ordered. He was the only one that had cakes available now.

All I can say is "yummy "😋 a coworker brought some to me as a Christmas gift. I came home and took bites from all of them. Each one was absolutely fresh and delicious. My new go to bakery from now on. I totally recommend this place. Can't wait to go and try more ethnic Mexican goods...

First time there. We bought 7 different things to try and each one was even better than the last on we ate. The doughs were flavorful and not over done. Everything fresh and delicious! The owner was so personable 🙂 we had a great conversation. And the variety offered makes sure there is something for everyone. Cant wait to go back!

El Horno bakery is the most authentic and fresh Mexican bread/pastries you will find in Greenville! Dave (the owner) was raised in Mexico and started baking Mexican pastries since he was 10 years old! With that being said the level of passions and detail he puts into his skill reflects on the quality of his bread. 10/10 recommended!

Now that Iv moved to Charleston I still think about his chocoflan, orejas & multis. I can’t find anything like this little bakery anywhere, truly a hidden gem.

I picked up a last minute tres leche cake for my husbands birthday and the man working there was very helpful on helping me choose the right one ☺

Recently moved upstate from the Lowcountry. First time here and the pastries and bread are delicious! Everything looks beautiful and fresh baked . Young woman who assisted me was very friendly. Will be back soon to try other baked goods. Most definitely telling my friends about this hidden gem !!

This bakery has the best Tres Leches (three milks)Cake with a long list of fillings such as nutella, peaches, almond, pineapple, and many more. They make cakes for any special occasion including Quinceañeras, sweet sixteen, weddings, ect. They offer a wide selection of pastries. Forgot your candles? They have you covered.

My mother and I went here the other day and we had a wonderful experience talking to the baker! We got some cake and two pastries and they were delicious. Very fresh and flavorful, I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely fantastic tamales for super cheap ($1.50 per tamale). The desserts and pastries also looked great. Some of them I have never heard of but sounded delicious nonetheless. I will definitely be back!

I ordered a Strawberry Tres Leche cake for my wife's birthday today. My family is thoroughly enjoying it as we speak. Beautiful cake! And DELICIOUS!!! Plus, I now know they make doughnuts among so many other tasty treats. Will be back very soon! Thank you for helping make today special.

Great bakery, live the cake with the milk. I don't what it's called in Spanish. But the cake and everything they produce is wounderful!!

I can't say enough good things about To Horno Bakery. I was having guest over and popped over for treats to put out. Everyone loved trying everything I bought. It's my kids favorite place to go for an adventure. The prices is beyond good. I even asked the first time if it was right. Just go and try it. You won't regret it.
