A few porta John's are near the trail head. Parking close to the trail head is limited. Go early if you can.

You have access to water all along the trail, bring a pump and filter, try the cold creek water. The water is sweet and so cold.

Already looking forward to the next hike out that way.

The main entrance, off of Muledeer Dr., is or was well kept up last time I visited, a year ago. However, the other two entrances to the park have not been maintained for years and desperately need it. Also, it would be nice if the trails coming in from N, E, and W, after being cleaned up a bit, could be connected to the main loop on the west side off of Muledeer. This is a nice recreational resource, but not nearly living up to its potential.
