Marine Layer things are always fantastic. Did a majority of my holiday shopping at this store and they had all of the products that I was looking for. Highly recommend visiting and checking it out

The team here is great! Always friendly and they will let you browse to your heart’s content with no pressure. It doesn’t hurt that the clothes are sustainably made and with absurdly soft fabrics! I’ve switched pretty much all my casual wear to this great company, and packing for travel has never been easier (pretty much every piece goes together, travels well, and works for everything from flying in comfort to climbing mountains). A big bonus for me is that there is great music playing whenever I’m in the shop, and some of the staff will even talk playlists and new music recs when it’s a little later in the day (and they’re not helping other folks). Do yourself a favor and check this gem out!

Literally the softest clothes I've ever felt. Even the raincoat!! Location and selection are great -- and the staff was super helpful. I was in there for a while, tried one of everything on, and they never made me feel like a nuisance. Really nice atmosphere

Best store on Newbury with the softest materials ever. Knowledgeable staff who are able to speak of the origins of the materials. Staff always give me a friendly welcome but let's me browse on my own. I love this place!

Marine layer has great stuff. But this store is staffed with the most unfriendly people ever. If you still want to shop just go online. I’ll be looking elsewhere.
