Cakes by Design Edible Art

My boyfriend surprised me with a cake from here recently and I’m honestly beyond impressed. I’ve had custom cakes before that have been beautiful but have no flavor or are dry. It’s what I’ve come to expect from custom designs and fondant. This place has changed that expectation. The cake was delicious as well as fantastically decorated. On top of that, while I don’t know the exact price, the original estimate when I was looking for a cake was half the cost here as it was at some of the other places I’ve gotten a cake at before. Apparently the woman who runs the shop even called to ask if we wanted her to finish the cake early so we could pick it up before a storm; she could not have been more accommodating. A fraction of the cost, great quality beautiful design and fantastic customer service - couldn’t ask for anything else and will definitely be using this shop in the future for all custom cake needs.

Lina's service was amazing and the cake was beyond delicious! I was desperately in need of finding two cakes to feed 100 people for a corporate event and Lina came through! I was able to order a vanilla and chocolate cake with the design I needed, now both cakes looked amazing but my favorite was the 2 layered chocolate cake with an oreo crumb center, if you haven't tried it then get it now, I promise you won't be disappointed. Thank you Lina and team for coming through on this last minute request, you guys are the best!

We worked with Lina on a bit of back and forth to zero in on the cake design that was the best fit for the person and occasion. Lina was patient and helpful in the process. Ordering was easy. Pick-up was flawless and on time. The cake was exceptional in all regards. Will do business with Cakes by Design again!

Amazing Frozen themed cake for my daughter’s 4th birthday!! Process was very easy, we just sent a picture over that we found online- cake turned out even better than picture. The taste was excellent, there were only a few pieces left after the party, which we enjoyed at home the next day!

I cannot say enough good things about Cakes by Design! This is the third year that I've ordered treats from there for my daughters' spring birthdays. Over the years, Lina has made us 3 gorgeous (and delicious!) cakes, strawberry-shaped cake pops, decorated cookies, and delicious gluten-, dairy-, nut-free cupcakes for guests with allergies. This year's cake was a 2-tier Rainbow My Little Pony Cake that took my breath away--I couldn't help but hug Lina, the owner, when I picked it up! It was beautiful; she is truly an artist. My daughter loved it, and party guests kept asking me where I got this amazing cake. The ordering experience was great too. Lina responded to my phone call the same day I left my initial voicemail. I emailed her some images that had inspired me and she invited me into the shop to discuss. She gave me many different suggestions and options, and even offered a cake-topper option that lowered the price considerably. Cakes by Design Edible Art has earned my repeat business, as we will definitely order from them again!

I had a graduation cake made that was absolutely amazing and tasted even better!! It was a three tier cake w chocolate marble and vanilla. The design w a theater cake! Adorned w beads for light around her name and theater masks! It was gorgeous! Not only do I recommend this place I also ordered another cake for this wk! Wonderful baker such talent! She works w you on price and design. To create a masterpiece just for you!!

Some time ago I ordered a Salvador Dali-inspired cake. The result was amazing! Lina is, herself, an artist, only her medium is cake! Absolutely amazing work!. People who saw the cake couldn't believe it. And in addition, Lina is so patient in trying to understand the client's concept and idea. When it came time for me to pick up the cake, she waited patiently, as I was encountering traffic delays. I will definitely use her company's services again. I hope one day, Cakes By Design adds a delivery service to its suite.

Lina did my daughters first Minnie birthday cake and she brought my ideas and imagination to life! The cake was absolutely amazing and tasted just as good as it looked. Now we are working on designing her christening cake. She truly has a passion for cakes and you can see it thru her designs. I recently ordered a cake from Cakes By Design Edible Art for my sister's 50th birthday party. When I first called the shop I wasn't exactly sure what cake design I wanted, but the owner, Lina, was so terrific to work with. She was so patient and offered her expert advice, leaving me feeling confident in the final design I decided on. On the day of the party, I walked into the shop to pick up the cake, and I was absolutely astonished by the amazing work of art sitting on the counter. The cake was truly spectacular. I was in awe over the intricate detail and pure perfection. Not only was it jaw dropping to look at, it was also so moist and delicious. Lina and her staff are top notch. Everyone at the party raved about how beautiful the cake was and asked where I got it. I started recommending this bakery the day of the party and will continue to highly recommend them to everyone I know. I can't say enough about how truly spectacular this bakery is. Lina and her team made my wedding cake and we couldn't be more pleased. They were wonderful to work with, readily answered any questions we had, and our cake was DELICIOUS! They were able to replicate the exact design I wanted and I can't wait to return to order cakes for upcoming events!

I got a cake for my daughter's fourth birthday. The theme was "Raya and the last dragon". Because of how new the movie is decor was difficult to find. This team did not disappoint! The cake as a whole was glorious! It tasted amazing, and I was overly impressed with the esthetics of it as well.
