The Butterfly Place

A really cool place to visit, especially for kids. Has so many butterflies. Its maintained well. People are nice and friendly.

I don’t often use the word “magic” but this was legitimately a magical experience. I took my wife and 2 kids (8 & 4 y.o.) and we hung out for over an hour. Even though it’s a small footprint, it does not disappoint. Only issue we ran into is the kids got hungry and tired. My wife and I could have sat their for another hour.

Great place. Toddlers can go either way, ours was very hesitant about being with so many flying insects. Others like us thought the place was so nice being around so many butterflies. There are big ones little ones and all different colors. One landed on us and sat for several minutes. Could easily spend an hour or two taking it all in. Lots of other displays, frogs, crystalis, etc.

What a beautiful place! A wonderful day trip from home! Very affordable priced too! It's a small place so I recommend going in between there peak hours, it gets cramped fast. None the less great place!

This place is awesome, you like a peaceful place to relax, get your thoughts together as well as see beautiful butterflies and other items of nature...you can walk and view the butterflies, sit and take in the serenity of nature, photographer's dream for beautiful macro photography just get your head together on life, check this place out. Not a large place but beautifully arrange, personally I loved it including a great gift shop. Check it out you can't go wrong.

I have never been here before this weekend was my first time and it was really nice. There was a ton of butterflies flying around and some were even landing on me. My kids absolutely loved it as well.

We went for a date and had a wonderful time. The experience can be pretty short with how small the building is, but if you enjoy sitting and just watching all the butterflies, taking pictures of flowers, or finding adorable decorations throughout the place, this is the perfect experience for you

Absolutely delightful way to spend a few hours enjoying butterflies. Perfect family destination for fun and science about butterflies. Various different species flutter around the beautiful landscaped plant life, its like a mini rain forest under a dome. The staff was kind and patient with the little visitors in our family.

A great indoor area to sit and relax with beautiful plants and butterflies from all around the world flying around you. This is a awesome place for children or adults to come see some amazing colored butterflies up close. They also have an area where they have a few different kinds of caterpillars on display. There is a case that is full of all the different chrysalis that they receive from other countries around the world. Once they hatch at the butterfly place they release them into the large room.

A magical place to visit. Various butterflies of all kinds from around the world live in a greenhouse environment. Not overly big but enough room to enjoy around other guests. It does get fairly hot so be prepared with layers or dress accordingly for very warm weather.

I used to visit this place as a child, and it's been decades since I've stopped by. My mom was visiting and we wanted something different to do for the day. This is such a perfect place to spend an hour, relaxing and taking in the beautiful sights. There were so many butterflies flying everywhere, and little fat birds that we found out later were Chinese painted quails. They were so cute! It started to get a bit busy after we were there for about 45 minutes, so I suggest if you want the place to yourself, to go when they open and preferably on a weekday. It was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience and well worth the money spent!

We had a lot of fun watching the butterflies. There are many varieties and nice gardening to keep them happy. The small quail are cute to watch running through the plants and across the walkways. Young kids love the butterflies and if you're still the butterflies may land on you.

So my daughter, grandson and I went to a butterfly place a few years ago. We d such a good time i wanted to go back. On my way there I kept telling my daughter I think we are going the wrong way, I think we should be there by now. She assured me she was on the right track. Over an hour and 45 minutes later we saw the sign. Then my daughter finally admitted we went to the wrong place 😆 she Google Butterfly place instead of magic wings. Soo I was grumpy when I got there and grumpy at the end because I had to look forward to the long ride back home...in between tho, I was good. My grandson had fun, the staff were pleasant and the butterflies were beautiful. If we lived closer we'd go there more often.

So many butterflies, my favorite was the one that had opalescent wings, Beautiful colors everywhere, flowers, the little birds nesting, it was hard to focus on one thing at a time.as soon as you walk in it just butterflies everywhere. It does get pretty hot in there, and a little bit crowded. There are benchs to sit on under some of the butterflies, where its slightly cooler. Paths are narrow and really not suitable for strollers, *no we did not bring one in* other than that it was fun to see the kids go crazy over the whole experience,

An enchanted little butterfly forest. A perfect family friendly place. Adults love it and kids adore it. Lots of different butterflies, a few birds, frogs in a case, relaxing pond with fish swimming in, some plants to name a few is the nature that surrounds you in this place. Very picturesque. Benches to sit on. Also a good wedding venue. Plus warm staff to interact with. This place has existed for 31 years. It is very warm and humid inside. Temperature is kept at an 80/85. Dress lightly for the indoor visit. Admission is not free. $14 for adults. kids 3+ also need to pay. I highly recommend

I’ve been coming here since I was a child. It’s a joy to bring my little one, now! I’m not sure about accessibility re:mobility devices given the size of the paths, but it is always clean and well-kept and the staff is always exceedingly pleasant. Great for photos!
