Old School Bar & Grill

Went in for dinner and was not disappointed. Nice selection of wine and beers with specialty cocktails. The food was really good, the fish tacos were incredible, the mussels were on point and i had one of the best French dips I ever had. Can't wait to get back and try something new.

This place was a vibe! I love the middle school dance music they play up in here it's a throwback. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. A really chill and down to earth sports bar with booths and tables but also a large bar to sit at. They had a long list of really creative drinks and cocktails. I got one of the chicken wraps with fries. The portions are large and the fries tasted homemade. Was my first time going here and would definitely go back. Was also right off the highway and easy to stop at.

Stopped here after looking for restaurants by the mall. I looked at almost every restaurant in Salem before this popped up. This restaurant was by far the most affordable in the area and it was really really good food. The waitress was amazing too I wish I remembered her name. We had burgers Cole slaw and Parm garlic fries and it was all perfect. Beer is the 2nd coldest draft in the state next to the brat in Portsmouth. 10/10. Go here.

I have been 3 times and each time the food and service has been great and the atmosphere feels homey.

There are not a lot of options in this general area so VERY happy that it's a nice place. Looking forward to better weather to sit outside while dining. Will be back next week.

I spent several hours at the bar with my brother enjoying great great drinks, amazing gluten free food, and friendly staff. The place was very clean, and the atmosphere was lively. The bartenders were very attentive and very friendly sharing some laughs with us. All around amazing experience! Would highly recommend for a night out, dinner with the family, or even a date night in one of the spacious booths. Will definitely be retuning

My partner & I ordered the lobster roll and clam chowder and it was delicious! The lobster roll came with fries that were perfectly crisp and the clam chowder was creamy and fresh. Very clean restaurant, and pleasant waitstaff. There’s ample parking conveniently located. The bar is enormous in this restaurant too! So a nice spot to meet up with a group of friends.

I love this place! I come here once a week and have always had a great experience. The service is always friendly and fast and the food is very good. You need to try the mozzarella sticks they are amazing! I also really like the Wagyu slider burgers I hope they become a permanent menu item because they’re so good. I look forward to coming here every week! The drinks are also really good and the environment is great.

I had lunch there on 2/23/24. My first time there and I really enjoyed it. I had chicken, broccoli, pasta and it was delicious! Great service as well.

My husband and I discovered this restaurant few weeks ago, and we have been coming weekly ever since. Service and food is always incredible, but on this particular night we were taken care of by Missy, who was such an incredible server! She made recommendations to drinks and food, and she was so attentive to our table, always checking in on us. She made our dining out experience so fabulous and I wanted to give her a shout out and thank her for being so awesome! Will of course be returning next week!

The El Jefe burger and the Bees Knees burger are two of the best burgers I've ever tasted. The fries were exceptional, perfectly cooked with just a hint of seasoning. The fried mozzarella was good as well.

The prime rib was cooked perfectly and it was delicious. The sides of mashed potatoes and green beans were very good as well. My wife had the prime rib with fries - the fries were great. The service was awesome and very attentive and accommodating. We will be back!

Great menu for lunch. Outside seating was great on a beautiful day. Friendly and attentive staff. Good sized portions.

Stop by dinner and enjoyed some beer and wine with an appetizer off the happy hour menu. My haddock sandwich was great and my wifes salad with grilled salmon was perfect. Make sure yoy stop by.

Old school is a classic American restaurant with their own twist. They have amazing food with some of the options you find anywhere else, like fried green beans! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and feels nice and local. They have a huge bar with a great outdoor seating area! They have great local brews on tap and good variety of drink selections. The service is also very friendly. I highly recommend coming here!

It was our first time at this place. We went for lunch at opening. I got the Caprese Baguette and my husband got The Big Dipper. We both got the fries. Everything was delicious! I loved the music. The waitress was great. We immediately started planning our next visit!

Is the service the fastest? No. Are the seats the comfiest? No. But none of that matters because the amazing menu at Old School Bar & Grill more than makes up for it! The steak tips are almost as tender as their filets, their ribs are savory, smokey, and fall off the bone, and the fries are to die for. I found this location on a whim, and it’s become my go-to recommendation for anyone looking for an unpretentious location for delicious meals in the area.

Had a great meal last night. Our server was excellent. On a sour note. The hostesses up front had to deal with a self entitled (Karen) who was complaining they couldn’t seat her because the tables were full. Kudos to you girls for handling the situation professionally.

The menu is fantastic. The lobster Mac and Cheese had a TON of lobster in it. Their Prime rib is my personal favorite!

The Ahi Tuna Wontons from the specials menu was absolutely amazing! Sweet with a little bit of spice, wonton cooked perfectly, and perfectly seared ahi tuna, should definitely be a main app or dish on the menu in my opinion. The staff is always amazing and friendly as well! If you’re in Windham and want a great spot to stop for food and drinks Old School’s is an amazing spot
