AMC Progress Ridge 13

Went in to ask about the merch for Taylor Swift and the staff was kind and informative!

Not only that, but this location is limiting sales of those items to ticket holders and only beginning tonight before the shows. This is a huge way to curb resellers selling $20 buckets on eBay for $200+. Kudos to the team here for doing the right thing.

We've been going to this theater for the last 10 years and more recently there's been less of a crowd, but the seat selection is pretty good in the stadium rooms.

However the last time we were in the lounge, the couches were incredibly unkept and falling apart. Definitely need to update the lounges.

Despite that experience, we regularly visit this theater and enjoy the movies, popcorn, soda, candy ironically because there's less of a crowd compared to other theaters in the area.

First time trying an AMC Dine-In and was not disappointed. Was a lil worried the food would suck but turned out to be pretty good. Not worth the big price but worth the experience for like a date night or special occasion. I will definitely do it again in the future and recommend everyone to try it.

Went just recently for the Taylor Swift movie and it was amazing! Super long line for merch and snacks but was totally worth it. The theater wasn't too loud or too quiet, just the right amount.

I was excited to finally see a movie at the AMC DINE-IN Progress Ridge 13 at 12345 SW Horizon Blvd in the Progress Ridge TownSquare in Beaverton.
The rest of my family has seen movies here (back when it was Cinetopia too) and always tell me how nice it is.

No doubt it is a beautiful theater with all the modern touches. I bought my tickets using the app so we just entered and were looking for Theater 13. We started up a narrow not well-lit hallway.

I will say it is not the most intuitive layout. It did not seem like there are large well lit numbers on each of the theaters.
There was a sign that showed the directions for theaters 1-12 and 14. So I finally asked and I guess they converted one of the theaters to something else but haven’t changed the numbering yet.

Fortunately we were able to follow the staff member to our theater; there is definitely no way we would have found it on our own.

We had to go by concessions and then walk thru the bar/restaurant (which does have an incredible view with panoramic windows) and then up a back hall.

Once in, it turned out to be the smallest of the theaters with a smaller screen. But it was definitely cosy and comfortable: like if you were watching it in some movie star’s home theater!

The picture and sound were phenomenal.

It was an off-hour so we didn’t order food.
But now that I know the layout a little better I will definitely return.

Great couch seating, they also have stadium seating in the larger auditoriums, but have smaller large chair/couch style seating as well. Food & drink service in the auditoriums as well. The have the tight wad Tuesdays which are cheaper than most theaters that give the Tuesdays discounts

We watched Suzume in Theater 12. I walked in and didn't expect a living room vibe theater, if you do end up in this theater, book the back seats they were pretty comfy couches. They don't recline but I was comfortable.

I took my 3-year-old here for her first movie ever and we were pleasantly surprised we had the whole theater to ourselves and we ended up getting the couches right up front where we could snuggle and watch a movie together it was the best first movie experience ever

Went to see Barbie on a Friday night! Only four total people in the theater room we were in. Great customer service and comfortable seating. View was great. Had an amazing date with my wife.

A walk from the house and comfortable seats. Concessions are overpriced… but hey… they have to make a profit somehow.

Great seats, loads of space to stretch your legs and get comfortable. Plus, half walls between rows!

Just saw Landscape With Invisible Hand... the movie was hilarious! Seats were decently comfortable but the armrest on E6 or E7, theater 2 was kind of messed up. Still a great experience, thanks AMC!

Drove from Portland to this theater to try the AMC brand. We saw Barbie and the theater's promotional material for Barbie was very much appreciated although we didn't come while supplies lasted of the Barbie Mercedes' but that's our mistake.

The theater is connected to a Plaza with great auxiliaries, good for an entire day with good friends !

For those who are complaining that the seats, carpets, and overall building is "outdated" from the 90's, please know that before AMC took over, it was Cinetopia. Cinetopia was built in Beaverton in 2011. After AMC took over, I noticed a lot of changes and upgrades inside the building. Other than that, I like this theater, never staffs are friendly, seats are comfy (more than Regal's), and although prices of the concession are high, but they're pricey in every theaters as well, so it's not a surprise.

I don't know why seats are assigned when theatres are only 10% full. But we watched Oppenheimer in good seats. The movie was great and well worth a large screen.

We were in the small theater off the bar. It was so comfortable and cozy.

First time at an AMC Theater with my fiancé to watch Profile after not being in a theater for almost 2 years, and Progress Ridge did not disappoint. It was truly incredible. The cleanliness up front was top notch and the theater experience itself was the best we’ve ever had. Full bar inside, full food menu, get it delivered to you in the movie. I even got to butter and salt my own bucket of popcorn. Unreal. Seats were more like lounge couches and we each had our own pillow. Sound system was crisp, the vibes were on point and we couldn’t have been more satisfied with our first experience back to the movies. We will be only coming here to watch movies from now on and can’t wait to do so!

I'm glad there's still a good theater nearby - not as close to us as Sherwood was, but huge screens and great sound, with comfortable chairs.
I had forgotten how fun it is to see a movie in the theater - even if you have a nice home setup it's just not the same. 😊

Very good movie theater exept I got tazed amd beat up by 3 homeless men outside the threater

As companies bounce back from Covid closures and supply chain difficulties, I thought the customer service here was very nice. For a dine in theater, their options are limited still. But the bigger thing was the fact that I had dropped my car key in the seat during the movie and didn’t notice until I got to the car and couldn’t open my door. We went to a later movie so the staff had locked the doors after you exit the building. Fortunately there was a staff member close to the door who saw me and let me back in after I explained what I needed.
