Laughing Gull Café

Had a wonderful experience at the Laughing Gull Café. This will be my go to spot whenever I visit Manchester by the Sea. Here is why:

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We had our hands full with our 3 small children and dog and they offered to bring out our orders to us. (Not expected at all).

Outside seating is comfortable and relaxing.

The coffee is fantastic! They know how to make a good latte here and I their coffee supplier is a fantastic selection. (I know the brand).

The atmosphere is the kind of place you want to sit down in and meet with friends or if you are alone read a book.

The food is delicious as well! I had a breakfast sandwich and they have gluten free options as well.

Overall this place is great! I highly recommend coming here and I will stop by anytime I’m in town. Check out the photos to get a sense of the space.

Bruce and Dede do an outstanding job providing the best service possible no matter how busy it can get. I love seeing the staff every week and any of the locals that may be in there when I go. Great local café that 100% deserves a visit if you’re coming from out of town. Oh and they got the best scones/muffins you’ll ever have too ;)

Always have the best experiences here! The staff is so kind. The food is cozy and simply but delicious and the coffee is great!

I LOVED this place it was delish! I tried their BLTurkey on ciabatta bread, and when I tell you that was the best BLT I ever had I MEAN it!
A total hidden gem!

The owners, Dede and Bruce and their staff are always welcoming, polite and kind. The food and hot drinks prepared with exacting health standards and obvious care are delectable. This refreshing dynamic duo is seen only once in a lifetime. Their integrity, honesty and love of their community is seen daily; calling each customer by name and always taking the time and interested to hear their morning news and share. The Laughing Gull has become a not only a great food source but a respid for many of us especially when a community hangout is needed. We are profoundly proud and lucky to have this hardworking lovely team in our town!

Small, busy, absolutely delightful. I rated service 3 only because you order at the counter yourself - it is not bad at all, juzt that half of it is self serve.

Great coastal coffee shop! Delicious paninis, bagels and I highly recommend their coconut cold brew! So delicious and perfect on a hot summer day!

We stopped here for breakfast while working in the area early this morning and I’m so glad we did! We ordered breakfast burritos, bagel sandwiches, smoothies, chocolate croissants and espresso. Everything was delicious, stopping here was the very best decision. Thank you!

New to the area & stumbled upon this adorable cafe. The baristas & owner were all very kind and welcoming. I got a decaf iced vanilla latte & it was absolutely amazing. Sometimes getting a decaf latte can taste pretty bland or too milky but their espresso was so yummy! I also got the egg & cheese sandwich on an everything bagel & a bran muffin- so delicious. Will be back very soon :)

Laughing Gull has a variety of delicious sandwiches, wraps, smoothies and baked goods. Love their espresso drinks and the staff is as friendly as they come! The shop is clean and comfortable. They do have outdoor seating as the weather allows too...

This place is fantastic! Warm and welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. It has a small town European kind of charm to it and the food is delicious. Coffee's always fresh and hot. Also, the woman who always works behind the counter is a unique gem. She's very friendly!! Overall great experience.

Hey hey what can I say? First time here and it was absolutely pack-aroni-and cheese. got the mocha iced coffee which was great almost tasted like a chocolate milk with caffeine in it and the sausage egg and cheese on a muffin, I special ordered it with the chipotle aioli sauce which was absolutely hitting. Hot and steamy just the way I like it. Definitely a great first time experience will be back if im ever in the area again

This place is in instant favorite! I've recently started working in the area and this is my fav out for lunch spot!! Anywhere else I'd go broke. The sandwiches are delicious and great size for the price. One of the best smoothies I've had too, never going back to Tropical Smoothie Cafe again!!! Thank you :)

Friendly staff, good food (great sandwiches!) and good coffee. Lots a variety. Adds a great touch of the neighborhood feel to Manchester. Also lots of space indoors and outdoors to sit.

It's got decent breakfast choices and good coffee (but like anywhere outside the city, it's just too hot to drink unless you let it cool down in your commute in your gigantic car). They are friendly, and that smoothes over any concerns.

Loved stopping in today after a stroll on Singing Beach with a friend and finding a renewed branding of this cute cafe! Will be back to explore more coffee flavors, sandwiches and pastry treats! Made for a delightful day!

Bruce and Dede are such an amazing couple and run a magnificent establishment that is the Laughing Gull. We tasked the team to help us host our post-wedding brunch which included a hike at the Coolidge Reservation. The supplied us with amazing sandwiches and muffins and their specialty Gluten Free Breakfast Cookies. They were extremely helpful with all aspects of our order. Thank you both again for everything you did to help our event take shape!

A local family owned-and-operated establishment; from the moment you walk through the door you feel the difference in the vibe; friendly greetings called out, a family eager to introduce you to their offerings. The breakfast sandwich I got was delectable. This is definitely a local spot to visit!
