Shadi’s Restaurant and Lounge

Me and my partner went here on a cold winter's night, we were the only ones in the dining area while others enjoyed the bar. The entire building was nice, cozy and warm as the host sat us by a booth near the windows displaying festive holiday lights/decor.
On to the food: The stuffed grape leaves and rice pilaf were both delicious & very filling. My partner got a lamb special which was so tender a knife was barely needed! It tasted juicy and aromatic. Our waitress was friendly and frequently checked in with us to fill up our drinks. I'm sure we will be back again soon

We are visiting from Florida and went for dinner. We were a party of 10. The food is out of this world! The drinks were so good too! Cute and very clean restaurant. Everything was fresh and delicious! If you want authentic cuisine, this is the spot! We have been to many places for Mediterranean food, in France, Iceland, Florida and this place hits over 5 stars and does not compare to anything we have had. By far THE BEST!! Sam was our server and he was amazing! He made our dinning experience even better! Because we never ran out of drinks and food came out super fast. He is a true professional , very attentive, friendly and polite! We had a big group and everyone was very happy with the way he treated us too! We totally recommend this place! For a nice lunch with the office colleagues, romantic dinner or to bring the family for a get together…it will not disappoint!

1. Lunch Kafta ($14.99) at @shadisrestaurant. "Ground lean beef and lamb, mixed with parsley, onion and spices. Charcoal broiled". Their hand-cut fries are excellent. The nicely charred kafta was really delicious, and they were also juicy and really well seasoned. You get fresh warm pitas in a plastic bag with real butter. My side salad was pleasant, as was the house dressing. The service here is always impeccable and friendly.

2. Lunch Lamb ($16.99) at @shadisrestaurant. "On the stick. Charcoal broiled with onion". The lamb was ordered rare, and it was. It was also super tender. The handcut fries are a real treat. The salad was fresh, but I'll order the dressing on the side the next time. Lunch Thurs-Sat only.

3. Lunch Arabic Platter ($15.50) at @shadisrestaurant. "Baked Kibbe, Grape Leaves and Cabbage". This time I ordered the Caesar dressing on the side, which was delicious! Fries of course. The baked kibbe was very tasty and had some sort of filling in the middle. The grape leaves themselves were very tasty and a bit tart. The filling was OK, the rice was overcooked for me, and the filling was a bit bland. The cabbage was the same, boring and overcooked filling. This was a good way of tasting three items. The fresh pitas and the real butter didn't make it into the picture.

Great food and service. Our lunch meals were a good size and delicious. I had shishkabob, onions and peppers, and rice pilaf. My husband had the green bean casserole which had lamb, rice, tomatoes/light tomato sauce. We also shared a delicious Mediterranean salad with a balsamic raspberry vinaigrette. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious and the service was awesome. The meats were very tender. We were a party of nine and the waitress handled are crew amazingly well. They have a small room off to the right side which we were able to use for our small party. I was amazed that our bill was only $52 before tip esp with the large salad we added and a couple of sodas. It's not that big a restaurant but it is big enough and they have free parking. We went on a Saturday. They are not open on Sunday I don't believe. J will definitely go bavk again.

We went here on a Wednesday night so the place is kind of empty but the service was excellent and the food was top notch. Just be careful when ordering appetizers they are big and then fill you fast. Everything we ordered was delicious. Chicken shawarma beef kabob stuffed peppers stuffed grape leaves hummus tabouli fresh Syrian bread all excellent.

Great food! Authentic flavors. Falafel is amazing, tahini sauce is perfect! Braised short rib meat is soft & delectable! Looking for something different....definitely try here!

Very nice Lebanese foods and got great service!

I grew up going to Shadi's and always loved their food and comfortable atmosphere. My family threw a 25th anniversary dinner for me and my husband there last Saturday. We used the small side room that fit our 25+ guests perfectly and comfortably. The food was delicious, fresh, and just like my family makes, and was served in a timely manner. Mo and Michelle were absolutely amazing at keeping everyone happy and serviced our tables perfectly. They truly were so great as were the bar staff. With the last-minute plan my mother and family put together, Shadi's happily accomadated everything they needed and wanted. It goes without saying my family and I will continue to dine at Shadi's and would recommend having smaller, intimate gatherings in their side private room!

I’m 62 years old and grew up in the Middle Eastern household and I can honestly say this food is the closest to what my grandmother and aunts used to make. I had to ask and found out the lamb is a full leg boned on site. It is served the way it is supposed to be not marinated, but flame broiled in a shish kebab with a thin layer of white onions between that are charred Many in our party had lamb and each dinner came out perfectly. That’s a rarity for any restaurant in this area. We also had Kibbee nayeh which is similar to a steak tartare, for people who have never eaten it. The consistency was perfect and they don’t add a lot of racked wheat filler. The baba ghanoush was smoky and perfectly seasoned, and the haddock was broiled with a light bread crumb topping and it was absolutely delicious. The portion size was somewhere between 10-12 ounces and thick , the french fries are fresh cut, not frozen and they were extra crispy and delicious. The atmosphere was fun lively people were social with one another like family at an event, and the weight staff could not have been more accommodating.

If you're looking for a Lebanese & Mediterranean restaurant, don't hesitate to visit Shadi's. Delicious food and welcoming stuff. You won't regret it.

Always a great meal at Shadis! Wish the osso bucco was on the every day menu. Salmon and shrimp cocktail are always a delicious option as well.

The service was great and the server worked hard to appease us when the meal was taking a bit longer than usual. We definitely recommend stopping here if you want something different. The family meal worked great for us and our children.

We've been going to Shadi's forever - so it was our obvious choice for catering our elopement party! Last weekend we ordered a TON of food - 40+ people. Ordering was so easy and everyone we talked to was extremely helpful.

Our party was an hour away from North Andover. When we picked up the food everything was packaged tightly and when we got to the venue, everything was still hot and ready to set right into the Sternos.

Everyone at the party RAVED about how good the food was.

It was perfect. Thanks to everyone at Shadi's! We'll definitely be catering our family events with them from now on.
