Cafe Zara is a great coffeehouse for the East Providence area, which was missing that hip locale where people can meet.

The exterior is designed to get your attention, but not be too gaudy. Once you get inside, you'll see all that it has to offer for meeting space.

Their iced coffee was good, but their selection of bags of potato chips were what stood out. They had two different brands that were regionally sourced, with one having a more sustainable business model, and another having great flavor and salted distribution.

No score on sustainability measures as none were noticed.

Super cute coffee shop! Easy to get to right from the highway and easy to get back on. Friendly staff and clean space! Got a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel with an iced mocha latte and it was delicious!

Adorable and tasty coffee shop at a reasonable price! The Lisboa breakfast is a work of art, the interior has a lovely vibe to hang out in. Outdoor seating is also available, although it’s on a fairly busy road.

Love this place and love the set up. Good drinks, even better sandwiches and it was ready quick as well. A really cute cafe
I had a Chai latte and a Chouriço baguette.
They had themes for stuff like Lisbon Breakfast and the RI Latte.
They have a table with condiments to add if needed as well like various hot sauces, mayo etc
A great spot to stop for lunch but it was super busy when I came; 12 noon on a Wednesday. I had to wait for someone else to get up and leave in order to get a spot to sit.
A perfect spot to work on a laptop; free Wi-Fi and a lot of spots after the lunch rush (1pm onwards) but not that many outlets, so come charged or come early to get a good spot
My only complaint was that they asked if I wanted it for here or to go and I assumed that meant if I wanted my tea drink in a here or to go cup and they put it in a take away paper cup instead of a mug but next time i come, I’ll remember that and specify. Also some of the seats are nice and the rest are plain metal chairs
I walked here so I’m unsure of the parking situation but I’d assume it’s fine because there were a lot of in-and-out customers at lunch time.
They have mimosas in various flavors (but I don’t believe they serve any hard alcohol)

Cozy cafe with great coffee and a pretty good selection of food. The Lisbon breakfast looked amazing (I didn’t have it) but I personally loved my bacon egg and cheese

Some of these reviews are wild. This is a cute coffee shop with delicious drinks and food. A little more expensive than your average Dunkin run, but well worth it!

This is a super cute coffee shop right off 195. There isn’t a parking lot but you usually can find a spot nearby on the street. They have a nice variety of food and drink options. I have had their iced coffee and dirty chai which are both good! I recently tried their BLTA (smoked bacon, smashed avocado, baby greens, tomato and pimenton aioli on multigrain) which was incredible! It was so flavorful and the bacon was perfect! I had it on the multi grain bread and it was definitely one of the best BLTs I had in a long time! You can tell they buy quality ingredients. Their donuts are from PVD donuts and pastries are made in house! Definitely visit them if you’re in the area! You can also order online!

Great place for coffee, though no free refills and a bite. I really enjoy the Lisbon Morning, which consists of Baggett slices, cheese, fresh fruit, and jam. I am looking forward to trying the yogurt bowls. Street parking only.

We stopped in to grab a quick breakfast and we loved our experience! The cafe is so cute, and the food and coffee are great - we both had RI Iced Lattes, breakfast sandwiches, and we split a croissant. Highly recommend! Looking forward to another visit to try some of their other menu items.

Found Cafe Zara by just passing by at work. From the outside it looks a little deceiving tucked away between two other businesses. However once inside, you'll be pleasantly surprised. A few small outdoor tables sit outside (probably seasonal). Once inside there is an abundance of seating in different varieties. Window. Alone. By the wall. Etc. There is a staircase kind of in the middle of the room that goes down. Unsure if it's extra seating or storage as it was closed when I visited. The atmosphere is super warm and relaxing. Light music at a good appropriate level.

The menu is appropriate. Standard coffee beverages with a variety of alternative milk options and flavorings. Some very good food options all made fresh and what looked to be fresh pastries. My ordered coffee was truly amazing. As with all good coffee shops, I wish they'd opt to use coffee ice cubes instead of water based ones. However I don't take this into consideration for my review. The coffee sweetened to the right level to not drown out the actual coffee but enough to enhance all the notes in the coffee. Opted to also order a lunch sandwich. Food was also phenomenal. Good portion size that wasn't too much but enough to be a meal or split amongst 2 or for later. The price was a little below average for what I'd expect to spend. 2 coffees and a sandwich only cost $18. Wait time for food and coffee was totally acceptable at about 7 minutes.

The staff was professional but cold. They were 100% polite and on point but just seemed to be invested in work fully. I'd love to see them interact with the customers a little more. Or even each other. They all seemed to just be in their own world. Again, they did nothing wrong. Just seemed out of place for the rest of the warm and inviting environment.

Overall I'm really happy with my experience there. I would definitely go again and put this in my top list for coffee shops in RI. I'd highly recommend checking it out to anyone who wants a good coffee, whether to go or to sit and sip at.

This cafe is charming and gives such a cozy feel. The coffee is incredible and the sandwiches are flavorful and good portions. I visited during December and I appreciate the music playing was a variety of holiday and other music.

We stopped here breakfast and were pleased with what we had… iced coffee and tea (my mom does like her tea strong and ended up asking for an additional tea bag). The coffee was great and so was my sandwich. Would order both again!

Cafe Zara was excellent... My double Espresso was perfect and my country breakfast sandwich delicious. The atmosphere inside was great too, it is set up for quiet conversations or a get together. I'll definitely be back and have told two friends as well...

This is the Best new-ish eatery in Providence! Several selections of custom, signature coffees, espressos, lattes, teas, and Morning Cocktails such as Mimosa with passion fruit, Espresso Martini, Sangria with fresh fruit served in a Mason jar, etc. Tons of freshly made yogurt, parfaits, fresh fruit, breads, croissants, muffins, etc. Reasonably priced. Closed on Sundays. Breakfast, brunch, lunch only.

This is exactly what the city needed....an awesome coffee shop with a friendly staff, great food and the best cold brew in RI (both Nitro and the house cold brew) love the open face toasts (Nova Salmon is my favorite) and the special edition PVD mallassada donuts with passion fruit or guava filling are to die for. Definitely recommend supporting this local business if you are a coffee lover you won't be disappointed.
