Gayas Cradle

An excellent store I can't recommend enough, especially for anyone who enjoys trading card games and wargaming. I came to them out of curiosity after seeing a Facebook post about them and discovered not only a great new hobby (Marvel Crisis Protocol) but an excellent place to play the game in a friendly and relaxed environment. This store does more than just provide great service; they provide a welcoming environment for enthusiastic gamers to get together and play.

Friendly staff. Always a good variety of fairly priced mtg singles and products. The community is welcoming to newcomers while also having veteran gamers to make for more challenging experiences for regular players. Snack/Drink fridge is always packed. As a long time Mtg player, I really don’t think I could ask for a better shop.

Gayas Cradle is the best place in the area to come to play magic. The reason is Wick and Jared put a lot of effort to foster an easy going, small group atmosphere and also take good care of their player base. I’ve been playing there 2-3 x/month as my schedule permits and I have seen generosity and kindness in many different forms which makes me feel comfortable coming back again and again. This compares to Other larger, more enfranchised stores where I feel like just a number…. This isn’t the case here.

There are bulk rare cards to sift through and an always changing pool of cards in the display case. Binders organized well, alphabetized and by color. Waxing and waning of sealed product as the purpose is to buy to play with vs to hoard to sell overpriced later.

Compared to other stores who have young kids or behind the counter who don’t don’t anything, Jared and Wick actively play magic and are quite knowledgeable and will do their best to help get you what you need.

The community of players has some variety like any other store. A good feature of Gayas Cradle is the effort they take input from their player base on developing events. It may not always come together, but it’s the effort that counts, resulting having some interesting drafts and commander games.

Rewards for paid events are fair and never unbalanced or manipulative… Rules / judge calls are enforced and are fair… flexible enough to allow for fun but also firm enough to control for people who manipulate / abuse the game.

All in all, a great store, easy to get to, and a joy to play at.

Awesome card shop. Good prices and a great crowd at Friday night Magic with ample room to play and hang out. All around good time. Owners are personable and know their stuff, while also looking out for new players. Would recommend.

Best place around. Hands down. No doubt. Don’t know how to play games? Pop in here. The people that run this place are awesome!! They’re patient and kind and welcoming. I came from another place and was going to quit a game forever until the people here made me see the real fun in the games and taught me how to play and be better. Honestly such an awesome place and I’ll support it day in day out. Head here anytime and you’ll find someone at the counter always willing to help :)

An absolute great place to be. This was my first LGS I've visited since moving to Rhode Island, and it's my favorite by far. I've been to a few around here, but the community is the most important to me. The store owner (Wick), employees and visitors are very patient with people just getting into MTG, especially Commander. Thanks to this store, I feel comfortable and excited to play any game when I come around!

This shop is truly unique. Whether you are new to TCGs or been playing games for years the guys at the shop know how to help. They take the time to get to know you and are always happy to help with literally anything. Their Friday night commander games are always a blast! Great spot if you are picking up a gift for your friends who love TCGs of any kind!

I've been visiting/shopping/playing at Gayas Cradle at least once a week for about a year now and only have positive things to say. The owners are knowledgable, but also extremely accommodating. They don't carry a ton of sealed product, but always carry something I want. Singles binders/display cases are updated frequently and there's a Discord people use for trading. Their quality service/hospitality is why my friends and I come back every week. There's always plenty of street parking nearby, and they have snacks/drinks. We usually order food from somewhere close-by and eat while we play. Give them a shot!

BEST CARD SHOP AROUND. The staff is super friendly and players of MTG themselves so it’s nice to be able to get to know them personally through a special game. The space is awesome with plenty of tables to fit all sized groups!

Small town game store, mostly Magic the Gathering. Super friendly and helpful, willing to order stuff. Inclusive and welcoming space. Great for all.

This is the finest gaming establishment I have ever set foot in. The owners are the nicest dudes and their commander nights are always a fantastic time! If you're into Magic or other card games you're missing out if you don't give these folks a visit!

A good friendly local game store is a community space. A place to meet people of similar interests, and make memories of laughing friends around the game table. That is what Gaya's is, as much a store as a community space. We are lucky to have them in our neighborhood.

Wonderful little atmosphere and absolutely cute place! The folks there were super nice and I got just what I was looking for. Looking forward to making this my go to place for Magic products!!

Nice game store. Good Community. Mostly geared towards Magic, with a good amount of play space, regular events and tournaments.

Great store with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. They really go out of there way to grow their community and help integrate new members to that community. I can't recommend enough!

I've been looking for a cozy, friendly, lgs since I moved to Providence, and I found it. Gayas Cradle has built a really warm, welcoming and open community and I feel like I've made a new friend every time I've gone.

Cool spot for it all. Fair trades, good prices, fun drafts. Awesome owners and a chill crowd. EDH night is sweaty, but expected! :P

I visited for the first time yesterday and had a lovely experience. Jared was very helpful and knowledgeable. They had a bigger selection than I expected as well. I will definitely be coming back again! :)

Great LGS very helpful. Fairly new to mtg and anytime I've came in looking for singles the owners have been very helpful.

This is a great store with a good commander player base. Never had any problems with staff or players. Perfect for local commander FNM
