Swansea Gas

Visited on a Saturday morning to get my state inspection sticker. I was greeted and got right in with no appointment. Highly recommend this facility.

Joe and Sam are amazing!! They care deeply about their customers and are HONEST and trustworthy; these are a necessity for mechanics because I don't know what that sound is and a mechanic could make up anything to add some $ to the bill!

I'm not sure where the negative reviews/bad experiences are coming from but I suspect they are reviewing the wrong shop. These guys are super friendly and they care about their reputation, so they are always working to win business.

Here is just one of the many times that Joe and Sam came through for me - I brought my van to Firestone in Swansea and was given an outrageous quote for repairs. I had the tow truck bring my van to Swansea Gas and gave them the diagnosis from Firestone. Sam not only repaired the van for MUCH, MUCH LESS $$ than Firestone but got it done in a couple of days (another local mechanic was booking for 3 weeks out). Everything was clearly explained and transparent, and they warranty their work so I know I can come back if anything goes wrong.

A few years ago, I was looking to buy a vehicle and Sam gave a once-over to the vehicle I had in mind, uncovering a number of issues which saved me from buying a lemon. Then Sam went to an auction and found something I might like to buy from them. It wasn't the right fit for me and there was no pressure at all from them to buy it... Joe and Sam really wanted me to get what I wanted and not just make a sale.

I cannot recommend Swansea Gas highly enough. Honest, great service, great pricing, amazingly friendly team.

Always polite and caring. Quick with the oil changes and stickers. They diagnose and fix fast. Came in today to get my brakes checked, they looked at it, found something stuck and fixed it. They always take good care of you.

Swansea Gas repair shop is a lifesaver. They are always able to diagnose and quickly fix both mine and my husbands vehicles. They are so nice and helpful and I have great trust for the mechanics and the owner. I am so happy that I have found them after moving from New Bedford and never finding a trustworthy or reasonable mechanic in NB. They have a customer for life!
