Chatham Gables Inn

This was our first time to Cape Cod, and we had such an amazing stay at this B&B! Nigel and Amanda were excellent hosts; we felt as if we were guests in their home. The entire Inn has recently been redone and beautifully decorated. There was no detail overlooked in the rooms. The breakfasts were like something out of a 5-star hotel and easily adjusted for individual tastes. We were so pleased with our choice to stay here and will absolutely stay here again on a future trip to Chatham. Thank you Nigel and Amanda for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Chatham Gables! From arrival to departure, it felt more like a visit to a friend’s home than a stay at an Inn. Amanda greeted us and we enjoyed our tour of the Inn and learning about the history and recent renovations. Amanda is an interior designer and it showed! The entire inn is beautifully appointed yet completely comfortable. They even perfectly timed the availability of drinks and treats for the late afternoon when guests return to the inn. Our room was elegant yet warm and comfortable. What was most remarkable was that they thought of everything – even a jewelry holder! Breakfast they served was out of this world. We so enjoyed spending time with Amanda, Nigel and their lovely daughter Charlotte. They are part innkeepers, tour guides, and Cape Cod experts willing to engage in brainstorming options and guide guests to ensure a wonderful experience. We will be back and look forward to another wonderful respite at Chatham Gables!

Our weekend experience at the Chatham Gables Inn was nothing less than exemplary. The common areas of the Inn and our room were absolutely immaculate, with precise attention to detail. The quality and comfort of our bed and linens were second to none. Breakfast offerings were well-planned and served with pride. None of this would be possible without the genuine passion for serving others that Nigel, his wife Amanda and daughter Charlotte have for their guests. Kudos also goes to Eileen who, along with Amanda, created those mouth-watering breakfasts and afternoon treats. This experience is worthy of more than 5-stars. It's the best B & B we've ever stayed at.

Chatham Gables Inn is one of the most beautiful and special places my husband and I have ever stayed. The property is absolutely beautiful and Amanda and Nigel have done an amazing renovation. The floors are the original floors from the house built in the 1830s. The breakfast (the 2 mornings we were able to partake) were absolutely phenomenal. Amanda and Nigel and the rest of the family and staff are so genuine and welcoming, and really make guests feel more like family. Amanda was especially helpful and accommodating when our rental car died on the morning we were checking out.

I wish I could give CGI 100 stars, honestly! It is certainly deserving of more than 5.

An absolutely first rate Inn. The main house and bedrooms are decorated in the most exquisite taste. The accommodation is very comfortable, the exterior of the house is delightful and shows its historic heritage.
Breakfasts were simply wonderful. The best we’ve had anywhere in the United States, and this was a three-week visit travelling all over the east coast, which has followed visits to the deep south. west coast and previous visits to New England

It is very conveniently situated within a three minute drive of downtown Chatham and the fantastic rugged and natural beaches in the area are also easily accessible.
I would thoroughly recommend it.

We just stayed at the Chatham Gables Inn this weekend and couldn’t be more impressed with the Inn and hospitality of the owners. Our room was freshly updated and beautiful. The owners made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Our favorite part was time spent on the patio. We had a drink in the early evening before going out and breakfast in the morning. On that note, the breakfast here was AMAZING!!! It’s worth staying just for that. Looking forward to coming back soon!

I’ve stayed at many bed and breakfasts in the US and Europe over the years, and the Chatham Gables Inn is without a doubt the best B & B at which I have ever stayed! The inn is run by the owners, Amanda, Nigel and their daughter, Charlotte. Their hospitality and warmth make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. The historic house, built by a member of the Nickerson family in the early 1800s has been restored, renovated and impeccably decorated by Amanda. It’s simply beautiful. Amanda gave us a quick tour of the home pointing out the history and details of the renovations. It’s truly like vacationing in a museum. The sleeping accommodations are stupendous - luxury linens, a tea and coffee bar in the bedrooms. And the whole home is impeccably clean. The location is also excellent. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach and just a 15 minute walk into the town of Chatham. Ideal! Lastly, yet perhaps most impressive is breakfast - you can munch on fresh baked mini muffins or coffee cake while awaiting a yoghurt parfait with triple cream yoghurt and fresh berries. Crazy delicious!! And a choice of a main entree - I opted for the French toast one morning and eggs with ham and sausage with tomato and mushrooms the second morning. Michelin would have to give these meals a 5+ star rating. Truly extraordinary!!!!! In a word, this B and B is wonderful! Amanda, Nigel and Charlotte are the best! We can’t wait for our next time on the Cape when we will stay here again. Thank you so much for a great time! Mimi

We stayed at this B&B in August and could not have been happier with our selection. The attention to detail was beyond anything I could have imaged. The newly renovated inn incorporates the history with modern conveniences in an elegant manner. The wide assortment for breakfast was truly outstanding and perfectly executed. Amanda and Nigel made an incredibly special weekend even better when they surprised my fiancé and I with champagne and chocolates. Could not have envisioned a more perfect weekend!

As always, a wonderful stay at the Chatham Gables Inn! We enjoyed a lovely afternoon with cookies by the fireplace. The Inn keepers, Andrea and David suggest a wonderful restaurant for dinner, which was just around the corner. The bed linens and breakfast are always the highlight of our trip. This time breakfast had a delicious blistered tomato bake accompanied with the fluffiest scrambled eggs and avocado toast. DELICIOUS!

What a wonderful Inn. Amanda was so welcoming. The breakfasts were superb and Michelle was a great ‘tour guide’ for our last day in Chatham. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in Chatham.

Everything about our stay far exceeded our expectations. The Inn is gorgeous, comfortable, welcoming, and steeped in history. The owners are delightful, gracious, and warm. The dedication to the renovations of the inn and property are evident at every turn. The breakfasts were absolutely to die for in both taste and presentation! We could not have asked for a better experience! If you’re staying on the Cape, this is where you want to start and end every day! We can’t wait to go back!

Our recent stay at the Chatham Gables was truly memorable, from the perfectly maintained and beautifully furnished old house to the wonderful breakfasts to the graciousness of our hosts (who are fully versed on the local area). It up to its adverts and is absolutely worthy of five stars. We look forward to our next visit.

The masterfully renovated details throughout the Inn that pull details together with subtlety and skill.The only oil painting of the original owner restored and returned to the fireplace mantle. The current owners, Nigel and Amanda, their lovely daughters, and the rest of the staff. The garden. The FOOD. The BEDS! I can go on and on. Most importantly, they make you feel welcome and appreciated from the moment you arrive. I cannot wait to go back with my wife again as soon as possible. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend at CGI! Leaving was difficult!

Have been to Chatham many times, stayed in many beautiful B&B's... None better than this. Spotless... Great Host and Hostess... Wonderful location and the Best breakfast we have ever had.

First time at B and B and it was great. Roomas are clean and I did not feel at a hotel. Felt like home. Breakfast was delicious. Simple, tasty, supper fresh and served very politely.

Andrea and David were excellent hosts! Great location, amazing breakfast, and an extremely comfortable and spacious room. Highly recommend!
