Barnstable Land Trust

Bring your camera,quiet children,sorry no dogs and take in w nature paths..perfect for " forest bathing" just observe..all greenery along path have laminated labels..perfect learning experience

We took a walk through the land trust and loved the thoughtful labels on the trees and foliage. We took the right path which is a short walk ending with a platform to view the pond. We then opted for the left path which is a much longer walk. The pathways are strewn with remnants from the old West Barnstable Brick company which encompassed a large area around the land trust. Great walk, be sure to wear sturdy shoes!

Great place to take the young ones to. Easy walk with tags on trees and bushes that tell you their names. Enough to keep them interested yet short enough not to bore them. Nice view of the pond from the viewing area (take a right at the fork)

Small parking area. No signage. Small, short trails. Bird watching is great for such a small place.

Conglomerate masquerading as a non-profit. They are trying to buy and take over Cotuit High-grounds which is a small family run business that is a favorite amongst all the locals. Do not support them.
