Morton Hospital

The nurses in day surgery were amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Brian, the Nurse Anesthetist and the rest of the department were great also! They provided so much comfort to a 5 year old having surgery for the first time and eased all anxiety right from the beginning! We can’t thank them all enough!

I had day surgery at Morton Hospital. I was nervous and scared. I was welcomed by such wonderful people. My nurse Virginia was amazing. She was so kind, she explained everything to me and kept me warm. Dr.T was super nice. Dr. Vanessa Lund was great. She reviewed everything with me and made me feel comfortable. She is an excellent doctor. I can't thank the staff enough for making my day surgery easier for me. You are all beautiful, amazing, special people. Thank ❤ you.

I must say that my experience at the day surgery depart was above what I had expected the staff and nurses surgeon was outstanding I would recommend everyone that I know to go there if needed and I’m sure they’ll have a great experience also . Top notch . Thank you very much Dan and family

I had my colonoscopy done at Morton last week and it went well
The nurses and doctors that I dealt with were very personable and friendly
They all explained what they were doing and asked if I had any concerns or questions. They answered honestly and with thought I would recommend Morton hospital to anyone who was having a procedure without any hesitation

Recently had a tonsillectomy at Good Samaritan Hospital. Things turned south yesterday, in the early morning hours around 2:30 I was rushed into the ER and greeted by 3 Nurses and Dr. Who were all by my side taking care of me and comforting me. Around 3:00 AM they called a surgical crew and they performed emergency surgery to resolve the problem. Very thankful to everyone who helped me out!

I’ve seen, read and heard some not so positive comments regarding Morton Hospital.. but I have to say, through the multiple ER visits, lab work, x-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, follow-up appointments & surgery I’ve undergone this year alone, they have been tremendous. All of the staff, most notably the nursing and clinical staff, were kind, caring and compassionate, even when I was in pain that I can’t quite describe in words. Not once did I feel untrusting, anxious or stressed about any of the care I received. The hospital was always clean, wait times were appropriate and all processes/procedures were communicated to me in a way I understood. Everyones experience is different, but mine was a great one.

Polite courteous and understanding. I went in for day surgery and from the time I walked in to Morton I felt comfortable the staff and all the different Drs were great in letting me know what was going to happen from start to finish. Great experience

Nurses before, during, and after surgery were awesome. Dr. and Anesthesiologist were also. Very happy with my daughter's care.

I was surprised to see that anyone can give this hospital anything but glowing reviews. The doctors care about their patients and the nurses are just super. Rooms are clean, reception is helpful. They even sell coffee in the lobby.

Your hospital is very nice n warm and comfortable. Your staff was very nice to work with. I had an idea while I was there. More people walking around in white lab coats. It makes ya feel safe like ure on ER or something. That's is all friends have a nice go of it and be careful out there. L8t3r

Day Surgery: From Registration sign in to being escorted out after my procedure, stellar experience. Timely, caring, friendly, professional, calming staff, start to finish. Want to thank my pre-op prep team Gina, and Jill, (you ladies made me feel very comfortable) and Kevin (anesthesiologist, and funny!). I wasn't nervous per say, but your mindset going in is so important, and this team did that for me. To the great staff who helped tend to me after, I apologize for not recalling your names (can I pull the anesthesia card?? 😬🤭).

The Emergency Staff at Morton were great! Intake was quick. I was put in a room right away, they made the process seamless and made me very comfortable. The OR staff was also amazing. Attention to detail on both ends were top notch. All of the staff members were very friendly, caring and reassuring!

I had outpatient surgery recently at Morton Hospital. The whole process was very smooth and easy for me as a patient. I was extremely nervous and every single person I met with at the hospital could not have been nicer. The administrative people, doctors, nurses, everyone. They took me on time and everything went well. The nurses especially made me feel comfortable and like I was the only patient they had. They called me the next day to see how I was doing. I had an excellent experience for a scary situation. Thank you everyone at Morton Hospital.

I was recently seen in the emergency department after being rushed there by ambulance. From the minute I was wheeled in, the care I received was excellent. Although it was a very busy night, I was seen pretty quickly by nurses and the doctor. The 2 nurses I had (I can’t remember their names unfortunately,) were amazing. It’s an unsettling situation to be rushed to the hospital at 25 with chest pain and trouble breathing, and both nurses were great at explaining things to me/my family. Overall, I was very happy with the care I received!

My experience was great from making tha appointment for a cat scan to actually taking the tests. All the nurses,doctors and receptionists were exceptional in meeting my needs. I could have had this done sooner but the hospital i normally deal with would not call me or schedule an appointment.

I had the pleasure of having my procedure done in the day surgery ward of Morton Hospital. The doctor and nurses were the nicest I’ve ever had. The doctor was very reassuring and I was constantly in the know from the nurses, and because of them, I wasn’t nervous at all. Even the support staff (secretaries, clerks, etc.) were extremely nice. They were all very patient and made sure I understood any questions I had.

Was treated very well in the Day Surgery section of Morton Hospital. The nurses and Anesthesiologist were all excellent. They had a great bedside manor and conveyed a real sense of caring.
