My family has rented through Truro Properties for 12 summers and it has always been a great experience. The service is excellent; Rick is professional and well organized and goes out of his way to be helpful. The cottage at 535 Shore Rd. is beautiful and comfortable and has everything we need. We really look forward to going back every year.

We discovered Truro Properties in 2014. July 2023 was another wonderful experience renting through Rick and Truro Properties. The Truro Properties website is easy to use, accurate in its description of the available properties, and the pictures will give you a good feel of what to expect upon your arrival. We have stayed at 22 Knowles Heights several times now. My 7 year old grandson remarked it felt like home when we arrived.

Rick manages his business well and is attentive to the needs of his customers. You can count on a wonderful Cape Cod vacation.

We have been renting the same property in Truro for many years. Rick Bashian took over the rental of this property a couple of years ago and has streamlined the process of booking the house for us. We have been visiting the Cape for many years. We have been very satisfied with the personal service we have received from Truro Properties since we started to use them to find our accommodations some years ago. It has been quite easy to use the Truro Properties website to find and rent great places to stay. As mentioned above, we have used the service repeatedly over the years with great success. The folks at Truro Properties are also longtime residents. When you ask a question you get an answer with experience behind the answer. The properties vary in size and location, but all give you a piece of the Cape Cod lifestyle while you visit.

I've known of this property for nearly 30 years and wanted to stay here. In recent years, I haven't been able to find a week on their calendar that works for my family. Late in the game, I was poking around rental websites this spring with low expectations. By sheer luck, I found a few open days on their calendar. Oh joy! Rick responded immediately to my breathless request and helped us secure the dates even when it looked like the dates might become unavailable. He was very clear with all the house expectations which I appreciated. On our first day we were concerned about a possible leak. He responded immediately by phone and then came in person and dealt with it. We had a magnificent stay and hope to go back again soon.

Rick vets his rental properties carefully. He just operates in Truro, and he is extremely knowledgeable about every location. This is the second summer in a row that we rent with Truro properties. Both times the houses were exactly as described (in fact, they were better!), check-in and check -out easy, and the stay unforgettable.

I found several rental properties and contacted Rick who was very responsive to my inquiries and helped me find the perfect rental for the week I needed. Rick Bashian at Truro Properties has always been a pleasure to deal with. We have rented cottages from Truro Properties for about 4 years. The selection of properties is always very good, and the leasing process is straightforward. Rick responds to email very quickly, and is also easy to reach by phone. The cottage we had rented for 3 years was sold last year, and no longer available for summer rental. Rick found us a lovely property a little further down Shore Road. I would recommend Rick and Truro Properties without reservation.

From the search for a home that would meet our needs, to the rental process, to the check in, Rick was extremely thorough and professional. The house was very well kept and clean upon our arrival so it is obvious that Truro Properties does a good job of monitoring their rental properties. If anything did come up about the house, Rick always responded immediately. Happy to say, we already have plans to return to this house again next year.

My family and I have had the very good fortune to have rented the home at 535 Shore Road in Truro, MA for the same week from July 2014-2017. The property manager, Rick, always does his best to give return renters first priority for the following year. This is a very convenient service. Rick is a pleasure to work with and a consumate business professional. I have always received a full security deposit refund within a week of rental.

The house is impeccably clean and beautiful. Recently remodeled, it is loaded with state of the art appliances. The office for Truro Properties is next door to the property and I have engaged Rick in conversation many times. He is always willing to give you the best beach and restaurant recommendations. I can't think of a more customer focused property management firm with which to work.

I can't wait to return in July 2018.

Truro Properties took the guesswork and risk out of renting a summer home for our family for the past 2 seasons. Always responsive, we were able to get answers to our questions quickly and Rick worked hard to make our complicated vacation plans work. The level of communication that was provided before, during, and after our stay was unmatched, and after each rental concluded, our security deposit was returned within a week of returning home. Finally, after mistakenly leaving some personal belongings behind, Rick worked tirelessly to have them shipped back to us quickly.

As a former user of “self-help” research and booking sites, working with Truro Properties saved us time and money, and allowed us to focus on what we really wanted: our vacation. I wouldn’t dream of renting through any other source on Outer Cape and we are already looking forward to working with Rick next year!

We have used Truro Properties for the past two years and the experience has been great. We ran into two little snags -one of our own doing and one not but Rick stepped right up and made everything good again. In both cases, he went above and beyond our expectations. The web site is easy to use and with so many great rental properties, I can see us using Truro Properties for any years to come.

We have rented from Rick several times and are always pleased with his property. The 535 Shore Road unit is very roomy and recent upgrades make it both beautiful and very functional. It is very well maintained and the grounds are meticulous. Our security deposit was returned promptly and without deductions. We always felt that Rick is very helpful and informative. On one of our visits we were there for a memorial service for our mother-in-law and Rick was very accommodating and stayed open just for us beyond is usual season.

Rick is wonderful to work with and his rentals are amazing. I have returned several times to a little cottage in Truro that is magical. This is the way to go for your vacation rental and it allows you to work with a local rather than a large company. This is your key to Cape Cod!
