Great park!! Room for all kinds of activities. They have an amazing playground, big fields, a huge covered sandbox, tennis, handball, picnic area with grills and it's so big! There's bathrooms that are clean. The park itself is clean and kept up with very well. I know we'll be going back.

This is one of the most beautiful, well laid out, and well-kept parks I have ever seen. Duck pond/coi pond area is very peaceful and serene, lots of open field for soccer, lacrosse, Frisbee, etc. Awesome playground area with a dynamic range of swings, slides, sand boxes, climbing courses. Great family picnic area. There is plenty of parking and seating. You can spend hours there!

This is my home town and it was so beautiful to see it has not changed. The park is still beautiful and well kept. The garden vibrant with flowers and tree's and the water fountain still beautiful as always. The duck pond was well kept as well and loved it.

One of the best parks around, with tons to do.
There's an excellent playground with equipment, swings, slides, sandbox and seesaws.
There's nature trails and plenty of picnic tables.
There's beautiful trees, plants, and fields.
Rose garden, duck pond, tea house.
The list goes on, it's just a nice place to be outside enjoying nature.
There are very nice pavilions available for rental too.

Be aware there is NO SMOKING anywhere at the park, you can be subject to a fine.
There is also no picnicking or dogs allowed in the rose garden.
Professional photographers need to buy a pass.

Don't feed the ducks/geese/fish bread, only seed and food from the feeder machines (take quarters). Don't try to touch the birds or let your kids touch them. They will bite and it's a preserve specifically for them, so just admire them.

Awesome park. Very clean. My 13 year old Bugg can't walk much, but was still able to see his favorite geese. I was very pleased since Tobykins was in a stroller, that the pond is handicap and stroller accessible. The park rangers are very nice and pleasant to talk with.

Definitely a hidden gem in Westfield. Beautiful park to spend the day. You can watch the kids play, grill or go for a nice walk around the park. Don't forget the concerts. Free!!!

Gorgeous park I’ve went to since I was little. I’ve always seen staff around. Could use a little upkeep with stone paths, but nothing that I say warrants a lower rating.

If you’re thinking of a place to go to, to spend a nice day with your family and enjoy some wildlife and see beautiful sceneries, this is the place to go. It is a very clean place and absolutely incredible. There’s ducks, Chipmunks and a pond full of Koi fish. Not to mention the gardens on top of the hill. There is available picnic area and restrooms. As well as a playground area for kids. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Beautiful park with lots to do! Only wish we could have stayed longer. The grounds are well kept, plenty of parking and easy to access. Duck pond is fun. Watch out for poops and remember your quarters for feeding the ducks! No outside food for the ducks is allowed. They have dispensers of appropriate feed for 0.25 a turn.
Playground is large and has a sand pit for playing which is a nice addition. Well kept bathrooms nearby. There is a water fountain by the sand pit as well as 2 by the bathrooms. The fountains by the bathrooms were not working when we visited, not sure if they are seasonal? It was hot on labor day when we visited. Id suggest bringing water with you. Wish we'd had more time to check out the rest of the park but we were visiting from out of state and has limited time. Definitely a great place to let kids run out some energy for little to no $$.

Still one of the best parks in Western Mass. Playground, basketball, flower garden, walkways and duck pond.

This place is beautiful and very clean for the amount of animals and people visiting daily. The duck pond was fun with a lot of fish and pathways around. The playground was equally fantastic

A great we'll maintained park in Westfield for family, groups and individuals. There are organized events in the pavilion, restrooms, playing fields, walking trails, waterfalls, ponds, bridges, Rose and flower gardens, totem pole, shaded areas a simply great place to unwind. Spent a good part of the day walking and enjoying all of the activities going on, taking pictures, enjoy.

Beautiful free park across from WSU. Dog-friendly, with a good playground for kids, and some wild nature for a scenic walk or run. There are also public grills for cookouts, and plenty of area for a picnic. Also ducks.
