South Village Beach

For the people who remember Swan River with a narrow river opening to the ocean, the dune is gone.
It has been disappearing for years but this is not quite high tide.
The house in the background used to be far from the water.

Cool beach, the water at the swan river is warm and fun for tubing, kayaking and swimming. The beach is full of families all out to enjoy the days.

1st time here. Did some kayak fishing. Fish were biting and the waves were tiny. Nice place to launch

South Village is an awesome CC beach. We love jumping in the lazy river as well as crashing waves.

Best 2 for 1 public beach. Try the kayak put in beach around the corner for the float up and down the mouth of the Swan River, a natural lazy man's River!

Nice spot of Swan River. Some fishing and some locals hanging out but very quiet on a gorgeous October Day. Great spot to paddle board or kayak to from Swan River. Marshland all around and definitely beautiful views.

Great little beach with a unique tide that allows one to feel like there in a lazy river at a resort. Get there early to park or go after 2:00pm and parking becomes a non issue. Like all local beaches there is a $20.00 parking fee until 4:00pm.

Pretty, clean, and very comfortable. I definitely recommend that place for your summer vacation!

The best beach in Dennisport, BY FAR. This is a medium-sized beach, but large compared to other beaches in the area. The parking can get expensive, but the beach itself is gorgeous. The beach is to the right of the Swan River. There are so many things to do at this beach! You can bodysurf the good-sized waves, bask in the smooth sand, or go fishing off of the jetis! That is something I love to do, you can even catch stripers here. If you walk down the beach along the Swan River, there is an excellent place to go crabbing near the grove. My absolute favorite thing to do at this beach is to ride the current in the Swan River as the tide goes in and out. Me and my family love to bring tubes and ride down the river as the tide is coming in and get back on the beach near the crabbing spot. This is by far the best beach in Dennisport as there is so much to do here, and I highly recommend this beach to anyone who is looking to have fun or relax!

This was a private Little Beach about half a mile away from the cottage that we rented for a couple of days. There were a few people not overly crowded and it was very clean the water was warm.

Small quaint locals beach. Great soft sand and parking. Has portapotties. I definitely recommended.

Go there, worth finding out Yourself. Dennis has the Greatest Beaches. Before the National Sea Shore.
