Brax Landing Restaurant

Had a great time and the food was fantastic! The scallops were cooked perfectly and the lobster rolls were really fresh.
Also, the waiter, Will, was super great and helpful.
The patio was so beautiful, and we watched the ducks in the bay as we ate.

I could not recommend this restaurant enough. I want to start by saying that this is a popular spot and if you don’t want to wait 1h-1h30 for a table go for an early dinner around 5. They do not take reservations. My party of 8 arrived around 5:15 and we were seated around 5:30(there was a 20 minus wait time). My family was seated on the back patio which was gorgeous. Our table had a beautiful view of the harbor as well as the well manicured vegetation surrounding the patio. Our server was very accommodating but seemed to be overwhelmed. Service was a bit slow as we did not leave the restaurant until closer to 7:30 but this did not bother me.
I ordered the fish and chips with no fries and a side cesar. The cesar was a lot better than I was expecting, if i knew it was going to be so good I might have ordered it as my main dish. The fish was fried in a super light batter that made it a little crunchy on the outside but tender on the inside. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meals as well.

Sat on the patio with an amazing view of the harbor and plenty of wildlife in view as well. Ordered Nachos and Buffalo wings and a hazy ipa. Beer was cold amd delicious. Wings could've been cooked less and more sauce tossed with them, but they were decent. Nachos were excellent! they don't skimp on toppings here. Overall, I would return for the atmosphere and try something new.

First come, first served, so don't bother with trying to reserve a table. While waiting we had a drink at the bar and it wasn't too long before we got a table outside. What a nice place, beautiful view and friendly personnel. The fried calamari were delicious and very tender. The lobster roll isn't cheap but you get your money's worth in quantity and quality, same for the fish and chips. Definitely recommend this place on a nice summer evening outside.

This place had a very lovely view of a canal with plenty of patio space! Our server was quick, polite, and friendly. I got the lobster roll and it was HUGE. It was very good. We also got the clams casino and oysters Rockefeller because we'd never had either before. The Rockefeller(green one) was delicious and I would def get this again. This was a sampler dish and was very reasonable in price. Plenty of parking.

Very dark in there. Food was good tho. Took a little long to get drinks but they were pretty busy at the bar so it’s king of expected. Waitress was really nice.

At lunch we had a really lovely view over the marina, tasty food and truly excellent treatment by our server, Garth. Our sandwiches came promptly, drinks refilled without even asking and the two tweaks to our lunch - a side of barbecue sauce and a change of toppings, came out just right.

Brax has plenty of choices for children, vegetarians and gluten free diners. There's lots of parking, though it's a busy place. Handicap accessible, too.

We didn't order a lobster roll but it looked yummy, maybe next time!

We decided to venture away from our usual spots on our trip to the Cape last week and we are so glad we tried something new because Brax Landing was such an incredible find! I’m only sorry it’s taken us so long to get here but we’re already thinking about what we’re going to order next time.

They have an extensive drink menu and I loved having so many options of frozen cocktails. I got the Jackal which could have been a little stronger in my opinion, but it was still great. The clam chowder had me questioning my manners as I contemplated licking the cup clean. Next time, I’m ordering a bowl and savoring each spoonful. It was very creamy and had the perfect amount of potatoes and clams. I had decided to take a break from seafood and ordered the steak tips. WOW. They came with a horseradish sauce that was very good and the portion was very generous. The veggies were cooked perfectly and were also a great size. French fries were also a step-up from your typical restaurant fries, and I had no problems finishing the plate off. My mom ordered the broiled scallops and I got a little nervous she too was going to try to lick the plate. She said the crumb topping had the best flavor of any she’s ever had, she too loved her veggies and the mashed potatoes were the best she’s had at a restaurant.

Overall, the food was fantastic and it was our best meal of the week. My only complaint was we had to ask for water a few times and we never got the butter was had asked for but I think we’re all on the same page that the staff at restaurants need a little extra love and patience right now so that did not hinder our love of the experience. Brax is open year-round, so I hope they get all the love during the offseason.

I had the fried calamari app, ( $11.99), and loved it. The squid was perfectly cooked to the right tenderness and the bell pepper rings were unexpected but nice. I've never tried calamari with marinara dipping sauce, but thought that it balanced the fried flavor very well. I also had the grilled shrimp pesto, ($20.99), and although the shrimp was great, I found the linguini very dry and flavourless. Pesto from a jar might taste better. Still would go back and maybe try the lobster roll next time! Overall great experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Although we had a long wait for an outside table, we met a family from Syracuse NY and we had a great time getting to know them. The fish and chips were amazing. Definately a must try if you have never been here before.

Always a favorite. Terrific staff who make us feel welcome, great harbor views, nice cocktails (cranberry martini!) and delicious seafood. Traditional fried faves and healthy options - great salads.

Lobster Rolls filled with luscious claw meat, dressed with only a smidge of mayo, and garnished with a few scallions! Delectable from the first bite until the last—all while enjoying the Cape Cod waterfront—either indoors or outside on the patio.

WOW, what a delicious lobster roll and onion rings!!! We had a quiet and lovely lunch by the water on the patio. Recommend this place far above the place next door...

The Lobster Bisque was a great way to start off the meal. This soup had a very thick consistency and chock full of thinly chopped lobster. The Crunchy Fried Haddock was crunchy on the outside, and flaky on the inside. A perfect meal for the fried fish afficianado. The Fried Chicken Sandwich with Buffalo sauce was perfectly crunchy and spicy. Also, it looked like there were two pieces of chicken in-between a kaiser bun. The Broiled Seafood Platter was the perfect meal for the seafood lover. Swordfish, scallops, scrod, stuffed filet of sole and stuffed shrimp. The fish was flaky, and the scallops and scrod had a crumb topping (light delicious crunch), and stuffed filet of sole had a creamy sauce enrobing the fish which was stuffed with a flavorful stuffing. The Stuffed shrimp was tender and had a very delicious stuffing. The chocolate cake was rich and decadent with four different types of chocolate: fudge frosting, chocolate cake, chocolate mousse and chocolate chips. The cheesecake had a filling that was light with a hint of vanilla, and covered in macerated strawberries. Wow. What a delicious add to the cheesecake. Kudos to whomever made the whipped cream. Perfectly creamy and not too sweet. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive and helpful.

Excellent lunch.went with family. We all got what we wanted. Served hot and delicious. I would recommend Brax Landing.

A Must do stop for us every year while on Cape Cod..The Best Lobster Roll I had during my 2 week vacation. More Lobster for the best price in the Best Setting over looking the marina. Although there can be a wait, they move people in very efficiently. Plan on arriving earlier than you want to dine, enjoy the gorgeous view on the back patio or deck while sip on a cold beverage.
Whether you dine indoors or out on the deck I am certain you will have a great meal in my Favorite Seafood Restaurant . Enjoy and I’ll be back there on my next Cape Cod trip.

Was welcomed very warmly when we went in. Hostess had a great handle on things with getting people seated as quickly as possible.
Food was soooooo good! The bar is very up-to-date with drinks. This was a big plus for me.
Our waiter was so nice, to bad he was moving away. Good luck to him, I have a feeling he will be missed by some of his customers. We wish him luck!

Best restaurant ever! Delicious and extremely affordable seafood, fresh from the ocean and cooked perfectly. You can grab a drink and seat by the fire pit in front of the water. I have never been to a better restaurant.

Always great service and great food! Get there early there is usually a decent wait and they don't take reservations. The scenery is really beautiful outside.

Travellers, go to Brax Landing for a lovely and elegant meal on cape cod. Located overlooking wychmere harbor, the ambiance is fantastic and so are the views. Service is pleasant and with a smile. The fresh seafood is the star. The raw oysters and clams are the star of the show. Fresh and cold and tasting just like the sea. There is no better. Couple these with a wonderful cocktail and you have a winning afternoon. Go with a party and have a great time. Check it out. We recommend.
