One of my favorite places to shop anywhere! I look forward with delight to my annual visit with Jules to stock up on his exquisite note paper, cards and candles. It is an experience of the senses. Jules knowledge, guidance, and love of what he does is contagious. He turns communication into an art form. The appreciation of paper and the importance of delivering heartfelt messages into something personal. Letter writing and sending cards sadly is becoming a thing of the past. Something so beautiful and the memory of my nana waking for the day and sitting at her desk first thing to send all her correspondences. Letters I have in jewelry box still, yellowing and dry at the edges are more valuable to me than the jewelry they sit next to. Thank you Jules for being there to greet me every year. Ox

Such wonderful taste and the cards are unique and rare. I purchase too much and then I don't want to give any away to others as I keep thinking how perfect the card I just sent away will be for the next occasion . I want them all. The sheets of paper thrill me that I tend to just hang in the house to admire for a year. I gave two kinds of prayer like hangings as presents and want three more each. This is a house of treasure and the owner is a gem. He has inhabited the cape for many years and is a joy to chat with. That the Whitman House respects him enough to be another business on the property says a lot.

If you love cards, paper, notebooks and antique writing instruments, you have to stop by this wonderful shop in Truro in a two hundred year old schoolhouse! Then go down the road to Chequesset chocolates!

The proprietor, Michael Turk is fantastic, he really knows his antiques and is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
As far as antiques go, the prices are very reasonable. And the cards are not your $1 birthday cards from target, but you're getting unique items that no on else has:) There's is a great selection of cards for any occasion and there are many unique stationary supplies and goodies that are hard to find elsewhere.

There are a few negative reviews on here that sound remarkable similar and in my experience ( 30 yo male) this sounds extremely uncharacteristic of this store and its workers. Please don't let the few negative reviews make your decision for you, at least check the store out.

I love this store and the owner Michael is so warm and welcoming every time I come. The store is gorgeous and so well curated. All the cards and stationery and wrapping paper are beautiful art suitable for framing as well as sending to anyone. This is a must-visit for anyone coming to the Cape!

What an absolute treat of a stationery store. It’s filled with magnificent jewels: cards, stationary, journals, wrapping paper and related antiques. I have never left the store without my annual supply of individual cards - for numerous occasions - and boxed cards, etc. I have also picked up unique and special journals that I’ve given as gifts.
What will knock your socks off is how well priced these beautiful and unique items are. And absolute most if you’re going to be on the Cape.

One of my favorite stops while visiting Cape Cod. I always spend way too long and buy enough to get me through till next year. I’m very selective to who I send these beautiful cards too:) Very special place .

Nicest stationary/card shop that I have ever visited. We purchased a beautiful guest book their for a wedding we were attending on the Cape. The bride had ordered one from Amazon but it was garbage. Jules helped is pick out a gorgeous guest book that was much nicer than anything on Amazon.

Absolutely the finest writing paper (and cards, book plates, and antique ink wells) store in the world. Michael, the owner, is personable, knowledgable, and passionate about his store and it shows. If you miss this elegant gem, you miss out on a piece of vintage Cape Cod in Wellfleet.
