Lovely little tavern. Great wine and beverage selection. We ordered a bunch of apps and had a great time.

We went to a wedding at the Wychmere and booked a room here! We had the best time. The location was PERFECT and close to the venue, grocery store, cafes, etc. The rooms were so nice and the restaurant was also great! A lovely pint of Guinness ❤

Lastly, We LOVED the owners! They were so friendly! Thank you for a great stay.

Food is amazing. Very high quality, with great flavors. I got the steak frites and my wife got the salmon. We also shared the garlic shrimp appetizer. All very good. I tried her salmon and it was one of the best I've had. Blueberry cheesecake for dessert to top it all off - and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend eating here.

We also stayed here in the inn last year and had a pleasant experience. Comfortable rooms and the owner is very friendly.

The food is great. Good wine and beer selection. I do miss the wild game specials wish they would bring it back.
Location they have two bars there is tabling seating by the main bar area. Best to make a reservation during the summer season.
If you are interested in what mooncussers mean it a great history fact to look up.

Andrew is a great Bartender! Very friendly and learned our names. Super drinks and a comfortable atmosphere. We had reservations at another restaurant but he convinced us to stay here for dinner. The food was amazing! He was right. It did not disappoint. We will definitely come back!

Really awesome spot for good food and drinks in Harwich Port. Setting is great in a historic inn. Food is beyond your standard pub fare. Great entrees. Andrew was our server both times — he was fantastic. He is warm and friendly and will make sure your meal is enjoyable.

I took my family here based on the good reviews I saw online. They didn't disappoint. The owner quickly sat us at our table and brought us water. The waitress was running around but came to the table and said she would be right with us. She had worked at the restaurant for many years and was helpful with recommendations. We were a table of 5 and every dish was amazing. No complaints from any of us. I highly recommend if you are in the area to check it out.

Had a delicious meal here. Inventive, well executed dishes. Great options for kids as well. Had an amazing peach crisp for dessert. Highly recommend. Setting is also great.

This place is an absolute gem! We had a group of 7 which they accommodated by giving us our own dining room. All of the starters were great, and the main entrees were - surprisingly - even better. I ordered the steak frites, and can unreservedly say it is the best that I have ever had. To a person, everyone in our group raved about their meals. Add to that, the service was fantastic. The owner was a total sweetie, and took the time to chat with us for a while. If you are in the area, and don't pay a visit, it is you loss.

The most delicious Scallops I ever had. Big cooked perfectly, served on an amazing peach salad. It was a memorable meal. I can’t wait to go back.

The dinner we had here was fantastic and surrounded by a wonderful historic ambiance. I'd have to imagine the rooms would be equally as nice as well. Just by chance, I ate close to Nolan's table and wanted to submit a review to balance the 1 star review they had loudly discussed writing as soon as the waitstaff left the room. Very simple people who lack the ability to help themselves and would rather give a small, family-run establishment a permanent reputation ding.

The food was so good. Unusual burgers but the chef was spot on in pairing the ingredients! Also, the dirty blue martini was delicious, but dangerous! 😊 Finally, the crudo, which we had multiple nights was simple, but superb. We also stayed there for the weekend and the owner's were super helpful and welcoming and the rooms were charming and comfortable

We stayed for three nights in a comfortable room (Room #1 was great). We chose to have dinner in the restaurant on a Sunday evening. It was wonderful to be able to be a bit casual, while still having crisp linens on the table, and an enticing menu. The owners have created a very comfortable atmosphere; a bit of Continental flair combined with Colonial charm! Our server was busy, but very attentive. Her name was Jane, and she recommended my new favorite drink. She was knowledgeable about the menu, and attuned to our pace. My aunt was our guest for dinner, and she was very happy with her truly amazing burger. We had salmon and steak at the table, followed by a creme brûlée.
A most excellent experience, and we plan to be back!

The bartender couldn’t have been nicer. We had pear martinis and they were delicious with plenty of vodka! No weak drinks here. Mussels outstanding. We had duck dinner and short rib tacos also delicious. And of course dessert cream brûlée and chocolate cake. If you like fine dining with nice atmosphere and friendly staff (and who doesn’t) this is the place to go. We ate early, walk ins, but I would recommend reservations during the summer and definitely if you’re eating later. When we left the parking lot was packed Enjoy 🤗

Went for a NYE dinner to Mooncussers Tavern and was delighted by the experience. The dining room was charming in the candlelight and the hostess was quick to seat us, despite our arrival earlier than our reserved time. Our entrées arrived quickly, and were delicious, I with the salmon and my date with the steak. We enjoyed the ambiance and light playing of French music in the background. I told my date, it felt like dining at Le Ratatouille. The service was very attentive without being in our faces. We would highly recommend for date-night, and won't soon forget our dinner at Mooncussers Tavern.

One of the best Cornish hen dishes I've ever had! Good beer with affordable prices for a night out with my wife. Three drinks and two entrees for $100! I'd definitely come back for this meal if I was back in the area.

Went there for a date. Food and drinks were excellant. The service a little slow (we had to ask twice for bread). The old building was fantastic and the grounds were nicely kept.
