Went to this beach with a friend at sunset. Took my drone for a bit of practice, people there were very friendly. Beautiful location for a stroll along the beach and on the sandbar which is extensive. Decent parking but not a whole lot. Get there early or late during the summer.

Great sunsets, people are friendly if you want to watch the sunset get there early, very limited parking. While you are waiting for the sunset you can walk along the beach. With the right person it could be romantic.

This beach is so nice during low tide. It has straws that are breakable and bendable. Adjacent to Wing Island.

Another of those beaches that almost completely disappears at high tide but reveals an absolute wonderland when the water goes out. Seems like a great spot to launch a kayak. There are lots of hermit and green crab to catch and a nice boardwalk trail through the marshes.

Great family beach. So many areas to explore for kids during low tide. Limited parking so get there early!

Cute, small spot to spend a day at the beach. High tide offers a chance to swim in chest deep or higher water. The changing of the tides is also super cool to experience (around 3:30-4PM). The current is strong enough to offer a lazy river pull to the ocean so be sure to bring a float (or just body surf). Parking might be a bit tough so just plan for that. Great alternative to a larger, more crowded beach.

Wonderful little beach, especially for smaller children.... Didn't get too deep at low tide for them. My goats loved climbing on the rocks!

Still a beautiful vista but with a smaller parking lot than years ago. Great in the shoulder seasons.

Perfect for kids and adults alike. Beautiful bay beach with serious tidal action. We got there at high tide and stayed until the tide went out. You can't swim at low tide here without walking quite a distance. We will definitely be back. Also very cool how they had a mat on the sand to make a path. I assume it's for wheelchair access but it was great for coolers on wheels.

Very cool place! Fun, 1/2 mile hike out to the beach through edge forest and marshland (look for the Osprey nest!). Beach at low tide is so much fun with kids, looking through tide pools for fiddler crabs, hermit crabs, fish, and shellfish. Highly recommend!

Very neat beach where the creek meets the ocean. Tide cause the beach and creek to change throughout the day.

Very interesting bay beach, geographically. There's a stream that goes inland through a salt Marsh, which you can kayak up during mid/high tide. The ocean goes out very far during low tide, but there's always water flowing by the main Beach area due to the stream. There are several stone jetties and some beach grass. There is very limited parking, so get there early. Because of the limited parking, it never gets too crowded. There's a boat launch for canoes and kayaks, no trailer parking.

We went in the off season so I can not speak to how crowded it might be in the summer. During our trip (New Year Eve Day), the weather was beautiful as was the walk and the surroundings. The hike is not at all challenging. However, it does, in one place cross wetlands that can be rather wet. Be prepared as your feet may get damp.
