Pelham House Resort

I had the pleasure of working with Katey and Alicia, the front office managers at Pelham House Resort, to coordinate rooms for an upcoming wedding I have for a client in June 2024. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills has made the entire booking process seamless and efficient. They were incredibly responsive to all of my inquiries and worked diligently to accommodate the unique needs and preferences of my clients. As a wedding planner, if you are looking for an incredible weekend with an easy booking process for your event, I couldn't recommend Pelham House more!

We dined at the Rooftop Restaurant, just one of our many visits there over the past year or so.
They have a really neat Thursday night burger special going on now - try it, you won't be disappointed!
And if you're not interested in burgers, the calamari is excellent.
It's always service with a smile - a comfortable atmosphere - you won't be disappointed.
Their "Waves Restaurant " (seasonal?) Is also a great place for excellent food.

My wife and I celebrated the Welcome Party for our wedding weekend at Pelham House and we could not have had a more amazing experience. We were joined by 100 family and friends in the sea-level ballroom for light bites and drinks for 3 hours and it was the perfect start to our celebration. The food and drinks were great and the space and view of the ocean really made the night special. We worked with Kelsey for months in preparation of the night and I could not give her a higher recommendation. With the stress of planning a great evening for our loved ones, we came to Kelsey with what seemed like 1 million questions to which she was always responsive, helpful, and calm (even when we were not). I’d jump at the opportunity for hosting another event here and being able to work with Kelsey. If you’re thinking of booking something at Pelham House - do it! You will not be disappointed.

Pelham House did a phenomenal job organizing and executing our wedding. The food and beverage selection was wonderful, and the rooms were great. Our wedding organizer Casey made the whole experience a breeze!

Ok this place is just a wow wow wow! Private beach with your chair already waiting for you. Fire pits for nights watching the sunset over the ocean. And two great restaurants! I loved that everyone at the hotel was so helpful and gave us recommendations for places to go in town and their favorite spots for coffee etc, Pelham house even has its own blend at a local coffee shop!
I thought the burrata at the restaurant was one of the best I’ve ever had and the brownie dessert was unforgettable. Nothing like a sunset over the ocean with a brownie and some champagne to really make you know you’re one vacation. All the staff was great but the bartender Meredith one night and the server I thinkk her name was Marie were both above and beyond even making our drinks look extra pretty for our instagram pictures.

The main house is definitely pricey but you can stay at their other two resorts and a little shuttle will take youto the main campus/restaurant for free 24-hrs! Highly recommend!

Service was exceptional. Everyone was extremely happy and helpful. My daughter scraped her knee and the staff brought her first aid without asking which we didnt expect. Bartenders were very attentive and great to talk to as well.

Just had a great weekend at Pelham House Resort. We were extremely pleased. Loved the roomy, modern, and minimalist room and our private deck with a great view of the sea. Very comfortable king bed with luxurious linens and the best hotel pillows…probably ever! The room was immaculately clean upon check-in and each day after service. Hard to beat the ocean-front location and the grounds were very well kept. Andre and Catherine at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Strongly recommended.

I'll have to give it 5 stars because they deserve it! From front desk service to room cleaning. Every day your room will be cleaned, the cleaning lady always comes to see if she can clean it or if you need a little more time for her to come through again. All of the staff very polite, very responsive, treated us very well.

The rooms are wonderful and the view is not to mention, you have everything you want in one place. I highly recommend and I really advise you to choose this hotel if you are in the area, I will definitely come back to this hotel as soon as possible

We had a fabulous meal at the Rooftop Restaurant. The view and location for waterfront dining is spectacular. Food was incredible. What an evening. Love Pelham House!

Had an amazing birthday/mothers day dinner with hubby, daughter and son-in-law on May 13th. What a treat! The rooftop dining experience had incredible food and gorgeous views. The weather was perfect and the venue is a destination everyone should visit while on Cape.

Fantastic beach side hotel with beautiful views and excellent dining. The heated pool and friendly staff were amazing.

Pros and Cons (edited after second stay):
Just returned from an off-season stay in February for my husband’s birthday and Valentine’s weekend. I was looking for a romantic getaway and saw the photos on the website that showed beautiful grounds and beachfront with outdoor gas fireplaces with couches for relaxing. A winter special with the second night half-off sealed the deal.

We stayed in an ocean view room which was attractively furnished, immaculately clean, and spacious. The grounds met the expectations set by the website, and the staff at the bar and rooftop restaurant were great. After watching a spectacular sunset on the beach, we enjoyed a delicious meal on Friday evening and then relaxed at one of the outdoor fireplaces with a blanket and coffee. Waitstaff from the bar downstairs who served the coffee were friendly and helpful. Had a beautiful view of the ocean and we were so cozy and happy.

On our second evening we were looking forward to ending the day at a fireplace again but were advised we could not sit there because the fireplaces couldn’t be used by guests when there were private events going on. We expressed our disappointment in that policy but were not accommodated. We noticed that the private event party did not even end up using the fireplaces so they were wasted.

So to wrap up: Beautiful place right on the ocean. Exceptional food and room quality. Customer Service for non-private event guests is lacking - it wouldn’t have been too difficult for them to find some way to make us happy about the use of a fireplace. Perhaps there should be a statement on the website that says use of all the facilities is limited during private events.

Update 4/2/2023: Hotel management reached out to me and apologized and assured me that our experience wasn’t how they want their guests to feel and hoped we would give them another chance. We made plans to go back and the day before our reservation a staff member reached out to advise they had hoped to open more fireplaces in the pool area that weekend but the anticipated bad weather was going to delay that. There ended up being a break in the rain and we did get some fireplace time. We stayed in an ocean front room this time and the view was amazing.
Overall happy with the hotel and appreciate the effort by management to improve on the customer service.
We will go back and recommend this beautiful resort.

Our company hosted a two-day 20-person workshop here and the view, food, and service were all incredible. Some of the best conference food we have ever had. Highly recommend.

The best lunch experience I've had on the Cape, Rachel our sever was perfect, she definitely knows how to read her audience, the service was top notch no rush, food was spectacular, the bartender was A+ omg the view was amazing, location and atmosphere was beautiful. Would recommend dining here loved it. A birthday well spent!

Great beach front resort in Dennisport! The staff is amazing. Truly wonderful hospitality!

Needed quiet,seaside,good food ,music and conversation. Staff couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was pleasant. Kathryn at service desk knows how to be the best at hospitality,Chris and Cass with Nicole ran the fun entertainment for the weekend .The rooftop restaurant is spectacular with its view,our brunch suggestion made by our efficient and very friendly, Mary made our birthday weekend truly memorable. Kudos to Mr.McCarthy for having such a successful venue for all special occasions. Their housekeeping staff was the best,even volunteered to help with our bags: favorite food,potato/ veggie gnocchi dinner.Brunch: Polish pastry and the pulled pork/ plantain hash with fingerling mixed potatoes and poached egg with hollandaise

Great place to be in Cape Cod with a scenery view of the Nantucket Island. Great food! Friendly customer service.

We attended a 3 day wedding at PH. We live nearby and were excited to try all the offerings of this modern chic spot. We are a family with two servers; both with wedding and catering experience. We are self professed foodies and love to travel the world in search of amazing cuisines. We arrived to the cocktail party and the apps flowed. The lobster sliders were sublime. My pig eating partner loved the scallops wrapped in bacon. Only good wine flowed; Josh. LOVED the Pinot Noir. Service was flawless at night and Sunday brunch. Downstairs, dinner service was synchronized and again, flawless. Food was flavorful with artful plating. Anything we needed, the servers provided. The setting is gorgeous. Brunch the next day was AOK; smoothies (great) and basic bagel sandwiches with some AOK danish. I would fully recommend PH for wedding or special function, 100%.

The front desk person, Andre, made sure we'd stay there and not go anywhere else. His personality was friendly, professional and had a great sense of humor.
The room was very spacious and the view spectacular. We will be coming to stay again.
