Outer Cape Health Services - Harwich Port Health Center & Pharmacy

I went there last week as a new patient scared and nervous because I just moved here in October. Having to change all your doctors when you have a lot of health issues is very scary. But I have to say Dr Frank Fluet was so kind and caring to me as well as everyone in the office there. I was shaking when I went in and so relaxed when I walked out. The place is very clean and you can get your bloodwork done right there as well as your scripts. But most of all I feel was the compassion Dr Frank Fluet had. He let ME talk and explain everything. The nurses were very friendly and helpful in everything I needed. So if you’re thinking about going there, I would recommend it in a second.

I have been a patient at Outer Cape Health services for many years now. One stop Shop for all healthcare needs. Skilled doctors that truly care and I feel like I can trust.

The staff is very nice and friendly and it's clean and the Stephen at Quest is very nice and makes my blood work go nice and smooth every time only one I see for blood work.

I've been a patient here for years. I must add that trying to get thru to a live person is frustrating. Yesterday I waited 20 minutes on hold. When someone finally answered, the call dropped and they NEVER called back. Waiting up to 25 minutes is the norm there now. Not acceptable! I went for my yearly physical on Jan 6. I had started having diarrhea on Dec 22. My NP sent me home with 4 vials for stool samples. I couldn't get enuf for the samples so I threw them away. I've had colitis 2xs and proctitis once. She never ordered a CT Scan. (Which is standard practice.) I ended up in the Tobey Hospital ER on Jan 18th. The triage nurse immediately said it sounded like colitis and recommended a CT Scan. I was very dehydrated and had to get a whole bag of IV saline solution. I actually could have died from dehydration. Why is it that an ER nurse knew to order a scan but my NP did not! I ended up on prednisone for 6 days. My GI guy got the report and ordered an appointment in April. I decided to contact the GI that Tobey recommended on Monday and had an appointment on Wed. They started me on two antibiotics. Not much change yet but that's mostly because they didn't start me on them when I had my physical. I'm grateful there are people out there who know what they're doing.

They always are able to get me in for appointments in a reasonable time, the only time it's hard is for annual physicals. Those are always backed up so plan ahead! Staff is friendly, facility is clean, plenty of parking. I love that Quest lab and the pharmacy are all in the same building.

Excellent practice. I never am in the waiting room longer than a few minutes. Front desk staff are kind and helpful. (all of them) Pharmacy is also awesome. They are proactive and knowledgeable. Always a quick turn around time. Wait time for MD is also short. I never feel rushed by either April or Dr Anthony. My care is thorough and this has been my best experience with any practitioner. Kudos to April and Dr. Anthony. Thank you for taking care of me.

I’ve gone to outer cape health since I was a baby and I’m grateful to have them as my PC still, I plan on sticking with them always. They’ve been more than accommodating to me, time and time again. I don’t think there is a better PC office around here that offers everything that they do! Also their pharmacy has the nicest most hardworking men I’ve ever met at a pharmacy in my life, they genuinely take care of their customers.

The people at Outer Cape Health Services are nice and kind people and they help you in any way they can, I would definitely recommend this center to anyone

I had just returned to Harwich from 2 years in Mexico. My prescription had expired & I was frantic. My pharmacy would not renew it without a new script. I panicked, since I had no Doctor & everyone was either not taking new patients or an appointment was not available for months.
A new Doctor was arriving shortly & Kate(???) I don't know who she is knew I was falling apart got me in with her, Dr. Laura Anthony.
I've had several appointments with her & would not go anywhere else unless she herself moved.

Just started going to outer cape health a few months ago and i have to say these people are amazing. Anytime i have a problem or not feeling well my doctor always calls to make sure im ok and her nurses too! They truly care about there clients. Highly recommend Going there.

Without their services, urgent care for locals would be nonexistent and locals would be forced to travel up to an hour for services. The staff are overworked and underpaid so as to be useful to a needy population. They can't be everything for everyone and their alliance with BIDMC is essential to meet everyone's needs. Bravo and thank you!

Wouldn't go anywhere else, sure they're a bit slow sometimes but so is everywhere else from time to time. All of the DRs I've seen were all willing to listen to my concerns and I felt the sense of being on a team for the betterment of my health. 10/10 would go again.

Outer Cape has provided exceptional health services for my family since we moved to Harwich 6 years ago. If you've lived on Cape for any length of time, you already know that services on cape are always limited and staff over-worked, especially during "the season"... then in the winter everything shuts down- except essential services like OCHS. Despite all the wierdness of seasonal life here, I find the staff at Outer Cape professional, courteous, and caring. I would recommend them to anyone who lives here and understands the dynamics of year 'round life on the outer cape.

Super friendly, helpful, amazing staff. Very accommodating to scheduling. Very little wait time. Thorough service. Convenient all around. PCP, Psych, OB GYN, WIC, lab, pharmacy. Easy to find, convenient location.

Been a patient for 4 years here. Great staff and I love the new location more room and space for the staff and clients. I always had a great experience here.
