A House Call Vet

Our geriatric kitty was losing weight but otherwise seemed just fine. Dr Tad called right away and spent over 30 minutes talking with me about our kitty’s history and habits and asking great questions. In the end, all was well! Dr Tad reassured me that this was typical “old lady kitty” behavior. He also told me what to watch out for. No unnecessary tests, just simple, thorough relational conversation. I can't recommend him enough!

Our cat was not acting right. So we called Dr. Tad. He came to our house promptly. Are worse nightmare came true, our Tubbys had cancer. Tad was able to peacefully send her off to heaven in her own home. Dr Tad made the whole experience comfortable for Tubbys and our family. Thank you Dr. Tad.

Dr. Hurvitz was wonderful! He helped my eight year old "Garfield" look alike get over a bad skin infection. My cat loved him and I thought he was very professional. At Home Vet Care is a wonderful idea!

Dr Hurvitz visited us when our very active dog, Scout, stopped eating, moving or drinking any water. We could not get any of the vets on the Cape to answer our calls. Based on her symptoms, he determined she had Lyme and prescribed an antibiotic, which he provided. The next morning, she was almost back to her old self. Very relieved customers.

could not get an appointment anywhere in the Orleans area for my elderly pup acting lethargic. Called the number on this site and the Doctor was at our home within the hour. I found the cost to be reasonable and actually below what another animal hospital quoted us. He did a basic “home” exam and gave us his mobile in case he doesn’t improve
I would recommend for most cases that X-rays etc aren’t required btw asked a ton of questions to make sure a home visit would suffice

Dr. Hurvitz is amazing. He came out on an emergency call for my dog on short-notice on a Sunday (and we are NOT close by). He was very caring, understanding, and knowledgeable. This Doctor, is a godsend,.. patient, kind courteous, and ever so professional.. very relatibe, And so at ease with animals, he is a gem.. He is beyond reasonable,.. And I am grateful that I found him.. My dogs are my life... And I trust my dogs with Doc Tad Hurvitz...

Dr Hurvitz was very kind and considerate to our "Jack" and "Dude" when they had him over for a house visit check up and booster shot....no stress, no Vet waiting room....will absolutley have over again for future Furry Fun...thank you Dr.

not good. he got the gender of my cat completely wrong. he also did not give me any certification/proof of her vaccines at her appointment and refused to release her vaccine records to me for her new vet. wouldn’t recommend
