I love little treats, one might say I'm always on the hunt for them. Came here while I had some time to kill and the eas no shortage of delicious looking treats to choose from. Had the apple danish and cherry turnover. These treats hit the spot!

On a Thursday, I ordered a VERY complicated cake, believing I was a whole week ahead. Long story short, my relatives called me and told me that they would be unable to attend my family get together unless it was held the upcoming Saturday (in 2 days) instead of the next Saturday (which was 9 days out- I had ordered the cake for this day).

I called Karl’s to ask if there was something they could do- and I suggested (and would have been grateful) for a much simpler cake because the request was so last minute.

Christine, the person who had patiently helped me at every stage (placing the order, modifying my order, requesting to expedite my order) simply said something along the lines of: “we are excited to make that cake for you, and we’ll get it done for you when you need it”. I really believe she could hear I was a bit stressed out and was trying to make the event as happy as possible for me.

There were No extra charges, there was no heckling or guilt tripping; just incredible service. I haven’t had someone help me that generously in a long time. I’ve been telling everyone about Karl’s!

Also- I wanted to add that they offer more than good service. They have some of the best cake flavors in valley and really cool baked goods. Some treats (like Swedish Princess Cake) you can’t find anywhere else! The prices are very reasonable too.

Lots of options here. Come early because many things sell fast. Better prices on cakes as well. Since Panera no longer sells the Brittany's or (the kouign amann or Breton), this place has kouignettes). Croissants are huge. Lemon was great too.

How to positive experience here. Just came in to get a couple of little treats and the lady behind the counter was very nice. She and gave me a free Christmas cookie. The place was clean, she was very hygenic which I appreciate. I enjoyed my scone for breakfast.

This was such a memorable and amazing birthday experience!!!! This was our impression of a Chick-fil-A cake made by Christine (who is absolutely amazing to work with and did her vision for this cake). It was a red velvet cream cheese cake and probably one of the best cakes I’ve ever had…. 25/15 will be coming here for everything! Thank YOU Karl’s Bakery!

Heard good things so I dropped in to give it a go. I was NOT disappointed what so ever! The staff was friendly and quick. The bakery was clean and tidy. The baked goods were absolutely amazing! The spinach and cheese croissant was fantastic! The chocolate croissant was excellent as well. Probably the best sugar cookies I've ever had. And they were decorated beautifully too. I'll definitely be going back!

What I always want to try, but still never have, is the quiche. It always looks delicious.

This place is amazing! High quality, affordable, personable and competent staff, and a wide variety of delicious treats! My boyfriend and I like to get up early and grab a box of pastries from them every few weeks as a special treat, and everything we've ever had there is just to die for. We discovered it when looking for a Swedish princess cake for my birthday, and it was incredible! I highly recommend this bakery, and of course we'll be back.

Wow! Karl's Bakery had been around for eons solely for the reason he creates the tastiest sweets and treats. So many good things to eat: Heart shaped Linzer cookie, Alligator pastry and gorgeous couture cakes!

Best bakery in town. You can’t go wrong with anything they have. We had a custom 3 tiered cake for an event. It rivaled the fanciest of wedding cakes. And it was delicious.

Before I get started let me just say there customer service is TOP TEIR! They went above & beyond to have this order ready in a timely matter & when I had wait a few extra mins as they were extremely busy they added in some extra goodies for waiting. The cakes were SO delicious & adorable for a little girls 1st bday! You must try the spinach croissants, They are out of this world!!!

Love this place! The options are stellar- if you want any dessert, you can probably find it here. The muffins are amazing & so are the brownies. There's literally a chocolate lava muffin, which I've never seen before. Their decorated sugar cookies are a little hard & taste a little stale, but they are adorable. You have to visit this place- you will not regret it :)

Placed my order online for a Black Forest cake, for my birthday and this was my favorite cake as a kid, pick up went smooth and the staff was very friendly. Cake was also delicious and a reminder why I used to love it, thank you.

I have been going to Karl’s since we arrived in Phoenix- when they were at the Dunlap location. His daughter makes the most fantastic chocolate, & his wife is wonderful. You cannot go wrong with anything you order. The alligator is famous in our family, & I love the cookies. We have yet to get anything from here that wasn’t fabulous. I cannot recommend them enough. You absolutely get what you pay for, and more!

Phenomenal!!! Just picked up some baked goods before my visit to the Botanical Garden and let me tell you, they were amazing! Buttery, flaky, sweet and everything you want in a pastry! I got the cheese pocket, (apricot or apple) danish, almond croissant (my go to!), and berry granola danish. This will definitely be my go to spot when I pass through town again!

I've been on the hunt for a new local bakery after moving in the area and omg, Karl's did not disappoint!

From the moment I walked in the door the staff was amazing and welcoming, the cases were full of amazing pastries, cookies, cake, brownies, fritters, and oh so much more!

The quality of their selections show the time, effort, fresh ingredients, and love that is put into each thing they create! Everything was fresh, fluffy, and bursting with flavor in every bite! They've hooked me, I will be back! Thank you for everything you do!!!

I had Christmas cut out cookies from Karl's before. Really moist then I had the cherry pie BLEW MY MIND!!! Should have bought 2😅😅😅😅

Absolutely the best "pie" in the world according to my guy as his Thanksgiving dessert gift from me---light cloud 9 airy deliciousness with light pastry crust. Exceptional. Not your usual! A true high quality European Bakery with "like family" reception and service.
