Uncle Wang's Alley

Uncle Wang’s Alley is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to. The food is fresh and authentic, each dish had its own flavor. We got eight different meals to try. The spicy lamb ribs and crispy pork were excellent. The duck was also cooked perfectly. Everything was seasoned well, some dishes were spicy, but not too spicy if you don’t eat the peppers. The place was very busy which on a Friday night which is great to see. They just opened up under new management, I definitely recommend eating here if you want authentic Chinese cuisine.

BEST PLACE FOR CHINESE IN BLOOMINGTON!!! The 台式三杯鸡 (Three Cups Chicken) is one of my family’s favorites, along with the cumin lamb. Also don’t sleep on the veggies! The vegetables are honestly well worth the price, especially the 四季豆 (Four Seasons French Beans) and the bok choy. Also they have complimentary egg drop soup and tea!

I had a lovely egg drop soup with vegetable Spring rolls. They have a wonderful Peking Duck here. It's enough for 4 people. They also used the bones to make a Duck soup, Enough to feed a family. It was very Tasty and a cold windy day. This restaurant had just opened a month from what I understood from my server. My server was a wonderful lady from China. She said one of the reasons she chose to work for Uncle Wang's Alley was they had such Peking Duck and it reminded her of home.

The restaurant is located on East 3rd street right across from the Turkish Restaurant to the South. There is parking on the East Side of the restaurant. There is steps down into the restaurant. It was lovely to have a sit down Chinese restaurant With real Chinese dishes. If you're looking for a nice Dining experience, I recommend this restaurant.

Omg….. its good. The Mongolian Beef is my favorite. So good and so healthy.
Super food! And comes with free egg drop soup. Delicious soup. Fun place to eat at too but I usually get takeout. Been here 7 times this summer

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Bloomington. The food here is really good. Fyi, there are 2 menus. One is the authentic Chinese (yellow menu) and the other is the more American (pink menu). All of the dishes I had were prepared well with good quality ingredients. The sweet and sour chicken is a must have. They don’t have a lot of employees, so if it’s busy expect extended wait times. However, the food is worth any wait.

Most authentic Chinese restaurant in Bloomington! My friends and I like to have dinner here two or three times a week.

This is probably the best Chinese restaurant in Bloomington .The roast duck is really very good, I like to eat crispy sweet and sour pork very much, but I forgot to take photos, the boss is very warm and kind， the staff is very professional, the recommended dishes are very delicious, You can find a taste of home in here .I hope everyone can come to try authentic Chinese food～yummy！

First time here…delicious!! Had the scallion pancake, pork potstickers, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken. Everything had really great flavor…Mongolian beef was the best I’ve ever had!! More authentic than some other Chinese restaurants but they have two different menus to choose from so there’s something for everyone. Truly flavorful food and great portions too! We’ll be back!!

Authentic Chinese done right. Superb Honey Walnut Shrimp. Can't recommend enough.

I like a lot this place, I have been tried Asian food in a lot of places, I can tell that this has an authentic flavor.

Out of all places in Bloomington - I will be taking my parents HERE for Dinner when I graduate. The food is absolutely amazing, the service is VERY good, and if I want to customize/tweak something from the menu, they are MORE than willing. As I'm writing this review, I have decided to just go there to eat right now!

I had the crispy sweet and sour pork and it was amazing! My family kept stealing my food. We also got the duck, lo mein, and some fried rice and it was all delicious. i had a pickup order and the customer service was excellent

We got the kung po chicken, sweat and sour pork and the orange shrimp. The shrimp was excellent. Chicken had a nice kick and the pork was crispy.

True authentic Chinese food, best of the best. Slightly pricy but definitely worth it 🤤

First time here but won't be the last. The food was authentically delicious. The presentation was beautiful as well. Service was impeccable. We ordered off of the szechuan menu and the flavors did NOT DISAPPOINT. Cant wait to return! A real Bloomington gem
