I've been to most of local tropical fish stores in the valley but this store has a huge selection of koi and goldfish. All the fishes look so pretty and healthy. I ended up buying only 6 goldfishes but I will definitely go back for any future desires. Very good friendly local fish store, highly recommended!!!

Steven is the nicest pet shop owner. He is super knowledgeable about the fish. He has a large selection of Japanese koi and discus. We brought all 4 of our kids and they loved it. His quality of fish is of the highest quality.

This place is great. Stephen is one of the nicest and honest people in the business. He doesn't tell everyone he has the best koi in az.... his fish and his knowledge speaks for it self. He is always there for any problem you may have. His fish are very high quality and his prices can't be beat.

Recently he's changed things up and there a bit more koi to choose from. A lot of different goldfish including shubukin and large fantails. Still feels a kinda expensive though. I really would like to see more types of koi too. Biggest problem for me is his times. I guess since he runs it himself it is closed a lot when it is listed on Google as open.

Went there on Thursday 2/13 at 2pm and they were closed. Drove across the valley to check out their goldfish selection. They looked great through the window.

2nd UPDATE: The ranchu passed away. The ich was cured two weeks ago. I've been treating for internal parasites because she obviously had some. She was fine one second and gone when I woke up. The other fish is still alive for now.
UPDATE: Both fish now have ich. None of my current tank does and this is why we quarantine.
Original Post:
I'm definitely a little disappointed. I went to the shop and it didn't seem too bad, but was extremely hot and humid. The fish in the ponds up front seemed fairly healthy and water was good. The tanks weren't in as good shape. Still though, Arizona doesn't really have anywhere else to get such an array of goldfish, and there were a ton to choose from. I'm mostly just disappointed that one of my fish obviously has some swim bladder issues. I'm going to treat for bacterial infections in hopes that it resolves, but I'm not sure it will. This ranchu is gorgeous, and I took a lot of time to choose it and pick the healthiest one in the $45 price range. It seems healthy when swimming but floats tail end up facing straight down when stopped, which is why I didn't see it in store. And like I said, it seemed the best of the ranchu that were in a decent price range. So sad because the fish caught my heart and is beautiful. Just wish they were more careful about selling healthy fish. The butterfly telescope, also $45, is gorgeous and appears healthy. I wish I would have just gotten two of those but of course no refunds or exchanges. My review would be higher if they did give refunds, exchanges, or replacements but it just seems like they don't care if you get a sick fish. Order online from someone who will replace a sick fish.

Closed when website and google says open. Through the window there were dirty tanks with no fish. No excuses, they should've updated their website, as well as google.
