I recently returned from one of the best vacations ever. Viaggi di Gusto planned a fabulous two week trip to Italy and everything from the lodging, transportation, unique day trips and restaurant recommendations were all perfect. My husband and I wanted to travel to Italy for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were not sure where to start. We found Cathy’s company Viaggi di Gusto with a Google search. We made an appointment to discuss the trip and within a few days secured our spot for the Best of Italy tour. When we returned from Italy, we could only describe our trip as “perfect”. It was perfect because all the planning, transportation, tickets for private tours and excursions at the best that Italy has to offer were taken care of for us. We enjoyed several exceptional group meals at awesome restaurants and a wonderful vineyard. We also embarked on a special truffle hunt that ended with a farm to table feast in the mountains of Umbria at a multigenerational farm. We met friendly couples that also made our trip very special. Cathy has helped us with two trips to Italy over the past 4 years and both have been awesome. My parents are from a small village in Calabria, were few visitors ever go, but Cathy located a guide for us that made the trip very special. Cathy arranged a 2 week private tour for my family which included our teenage son. She spent time asking me before our trip what our family enjoyed, what tours we wanted, and suggested food tours in Rome and Venice which were amazing. She arranged a day trip in Tuscany with a pizza cooking class, which was a highlight of our trip. Also, the local tour guides she arranged were very enthusiastic and passionate about sharing their knowledge in various cities and museums. We never had to worry about transportation, as she arranged all train tickets and private car rides wherever we needed to go. It was such a wonderful, well managed trip for our family, with so many good memories. We can't thank you enough and will definitely ask for your help arranging future trips to Italy!

Our trip to Italy was everything we hoped for and so much more!!! Cathy is an amazing travel guide. She took us to 4 beautiful areas of Italy and each place was so beautiful and we got off the beaten paths and saw such neat little villages. We ate amazing food and tasted the best wines of Italy! We were able to cook with an Italian chef. Learned so much about there foods. Of course had the best pasta ever! The places we wrap were so beautiful and charming. A castle, cottages, great hotels. We recently went with a small group (12) of friends on Cathy's "Best of Italy" trip. The trip could not have been more interesting or enjoyable. Cathy's planning was impeccable, and her knowledge of various locations in Italy was amazing. She balanced tour activities with 'free time' which enabled everyone to have flexibility on the tour. When we got home, the consensus of our group was that we would go back to Italy again, with Cathy.

We've had six course luncheons at beautiful vineyards and opportunities to cook with some amazing Italian chefs. Everyone we encountered treated us with the utmost kindness. Our accommodations were exceptional, beautiful resorts overlooking the ocean or wonderful accommodations at a rural winery. Places so special we want to return and stay there again. We had special outings hunting for truffles or looking at ancient temples and amphitheaters. The truffle hunt in Umbria will be something we always remember, it was spectacular. Cathy allows plenty of time to explore on your own in the iconic towns and villages we visited. Our trip to Northern Italy that was planned by Viaggi di Gusto was an absolutely amazing experience. We stayed in beautiful places and had incredible private tours that we would have never thought of if we had tried it on our own. Every detail was so well planned that our trip was truly stress free and completely enjoyable that it made it really hard to go home. We had worked with her on a trip to Venice/Cinque Terre/ Florence in 2016 and she did such an outstanding job that when COVID restrictions were lifted this summer, we immediately reached out to her to plan a trip to the Amalfi Coast.
