Ace Hardware of West Belleville

I love this story. The workers are very helpful and friendly when you walk into the store. The store is clean.

I feel like I was cheating on my hometown Ace, but I needed to kill twenty minutes and needed a thing, so stopped in.

Possibly the nicest looking hardware store, lots of great displays, so many choices, and best of all, every employee was super friendly and asked if I had found what I needed.

My favorite hardware store. Everyone is really helpful and welcoming. The store is clean and very organized. I get all my do- it yourself supplies here. My daughter loves the shop cats. 😍

Knowledgeable and helpful staff.. something you don't get at the big box stores. Truly helpful staff but not pushy. I always go here instead of some of the other hardware stores around because of the astonishing customer service.

Because it's close to home, it's usually my first stop when I need hardware or maintenance supplies. A wide assortment of drill bits, screw drivers, wall anchors, gardening tools, Craftsman, Dewalt, toilet repair stuff, batteries, etc. Be sure to get on the frequent buyers list for coupons and rewards.

I love this place. I've purchased plumbing and electrical elements, various tools, yard tools, and gardening supplies. The staff are friendly and very customer service oriented, everytime I visit. The staff will either locate an item, or offer to order it, if l can't find what I need. I also like scanning my ACE rewards card, because then they call me by name; it makes me feel welcomed. Though I'd venture to say they'll know my name, by my face, pretty soon; I visit often.
I especially enjoy poking around in the sale aisles and bins. For example, l purchased 240lbs (in 40lb bags) for $10 today.
Lowe's used to be my #1 go-to because of the military discount; the only draw back of ACE, because they don't have one (😉, hint hint ACE).

Woke up to a leaking Hot Water Heater that finally gave out. The Ace staff were super helpful in finding me one that would fit the awkward small space in my mudroom(measurements provided). They delivered within the next hour and I was able to get everything fixed the same day! As a first time home owner and this being my first HWH issue, I was completely overwhelmed but the associates taught me a few things and put my mind at ease. I’ll be ready for the next time. Wonderful store. Has all the parts I need, with curtious employees. Everything is clean and maintained, from the landscaping to the eisles. Would recommend!

CJ an African American young man was so helpful , knowledgeable , in assisting me in the store. I asked his name so I could say who helped me .He politely said ma'am we don't do that here. The staff was really polite and the store was nearly organized and you could easily locate stuff .I highly recommend this store.
