I thought this place was absolutely awesome but in all honesty I did not have enough time to properly check out everything but rest assured what time I spent inside made me want to come back and I will. In the meantime I give it two thumbs up!

Old time small town hardware. Just what you need without all the extra distractions. So glad I remembered to try here first before the "other" big brand store.

In the nearly forty years I have lived in Hodgenville, KY there have been many occasions for me to visit Smith's Hardware. These include getting propane tanks for my grill refilled to helping me find the correct items for me to use in projects that range from repairing an item, picking up things like batteries, screws, nails and PVC pipes and connectors to building a demonstration item for my Physics and/or ICP classes.
Employees are consistently courteous and helpful so that I always feel good about the experiences whether what I wanted was available or not. I can confidently recommend this business to others.
