Ernies has taken care of my old man’s truck, & my car. We have no complaints, all the way around has been overall good experience. Prices I have found to be little cheaper than other shops. Our cars will be going there for the future.

They were awesome. I’m a single mom and they took care of me quickly and very well priced. I had to get a part replaced and I was back in my truck two days later. I highly recommend them. Im from Indiana. While me and my bestfriend traveled to Cincinnati, I heard something fall and a vital piece from the side of my vehicle came apart all while traveling and was flapping all over. While having a rough week already, this didn’t not help my life. I looked up the closest auto shop that could help me. I called one place and they never answered the phone, I then ran across Ernie’s garage. I called and Brad answered! I told him a little about my situation with my vehicle and he never hesitated. He request for me to bring it by to check it out. As I entered he was so generous in his approach NOT knowing that my dad was just on life support and I was already in a dark place (I never told him, even until today what was going on in my life personally). He made me chuckle a few times and his customer service was awesome. He told me to sit tight, as he viewed my car situation. He jumped in the seat and went to work. This was the Best experience I have ever had coming from a auto shop, especially considering what I was going through. He really blessed me. I was expected to pay a nice chunk, but he wasn’t worried. I’d highly recommend this place!

It seems rare nowadays, especially with Covid going on to receive above and beyond customer service. Exceptional wouldn't even begin to describe the quality of service Ernie's provided me.

They saved me from my nightmare of dealing with a dealership that had lied and held my car for five weeks. I told them about the ordeal I had been going through with the dealership and that same day they told me I could bring my car into them.

I brought my car in late Tuesday afternoon and by Wednesday night they had ran a diagnostic, assessed the issues, changed the oil, changed the brakes, and installed a spark plug. They did this all in less than two days while keeping me regularly informed and updated on the status of my vehicle.

All in all they were an extremely professional group of people who listened to my plight and worked effectively and efficiently to solve it. They also gave me a comprehensive break down of my bill and showed me the time they started and finished their work. I would implore anyone who has car issues to skip the dealership and give Ernie's their business. You will not regret it.

They have amazing down home hospitality and was willing to go above and beyond for me as a customer. The nice lady at the front and everyone I came in contact with was amazing, even Matt, the owner. They went way more out of their way then what was expected without a doubt. If you're around they are definitely worth giving a chance. We took one of our vehicles to Ernie’s after my kids mother hit a deer and destroyed the front end, and most all of the associated engine parts (radiator, fans, a/c condenser, etc.). Fixed everything I could. Bought new radiator fans but they wouldn’t kick on and I couldn’t find out why. After having several bad experiences with mechanics over the years I was understandably leery of going to one. My hand-held computer said the coolant sensor was sending low voltage. Made sense, seemed simple to fix. But I’ve learned enough over the years to know not to start firing off the parts cannon until you’re sure you have the right ammo. Having reached the end of my diagnostic ability it was time to let a pro check it out. We didn’t know a thing about local mechanics so we just went reading reviews and hoped for the best. We found Ernie’s (mostly excellent reviews but in business you’ll never please everyone no matter how hard you try). So we gave them a call and man am I glad we did. Turns out there was still a wiring plug not plugged in (guess I missed that one 🥴). A plug not plugged in. Man it’s hard to put a price on that kind of honesty. So, $113 and change for the diagnostic (what you would expect), and $0.00 to plug the plug back in. What can I say? I haven’t had an experience like that with a mechanic in 30 maybe 40 years. We’ll never take our vehicles anywhere else. Thank you Ernie’s Garage!

We were on a RV trip from MN in July and our air conditioner belt started to have issues. I called the Toyota dealership and they said they’d charge us $115 just to take a look, let alone the repair, and they couldn’t take us in until the next day. I called Ernies and Brad said he could help us right away. They were able to change the belt and get us back on the road for $130 total. Very thankful to Brad, great dude!

It is rare to find someone whom you can trust to help keep a key part of your life like your car without taking advantage. Matt and Brad have taken care of my family's cars for around 2 decades and they have always done right by us.

They strive to get me a good price on anything I need done. They've always accommodated me when I have an emergency. They always explain the issue and give competent advice.

Was T-Bone by un insured driver. They took care of my insurance I got my car in on Monday afternoon by Friday morning my car was done. They did a very good job on the body it looks really good thank you Brad and team for getting me back on the road 😊

I had striped the head of my oil pan drain plug. I took my vehicle to Ernie's and even they expressed some concerns about how tight this drain plug was in and discussed the ramifications before proceeding. But, they got it out. I provided the oil, oil filter and new drain plug they did the work. My brakes were also a bit soft and with my permission did a quick check and took care of that problem. Then, they handed me by bill.......$21.47? That's all? MAN, THAT'S GREAT!!!! And all in less than an hour. They get 10 stars from me! *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

I would absolutely recommend Ernie's Garage to anyone! The entire team there was friendly and dedicated to ensuring that I was taken care of and that my car was taken care of. Matt is a very well educated, truthful, and all around a good guy. I will without a doubt be taking my car back there in the future for any car problems.

I wish there was an option to add stars because a 5 star rating doesn't accurately describe my experience with the owner. Normally, I feel like I am being taken advantage of when I use a new mechanic but I truly have never felt more welcome in a professional setting before. They spent the time to answer all of my questions and even went as far as to educate me so that I wouldn't be taken advantage in the future. The only thing that would have made this experience better, would have been if they picked up everything and moved back to New Jersey where I live. Unfortunately, I was only in Elsmere, Kentucky for a short time for work or else I would be a life-long customer for sure. I spent hours researching my options before I finally found Ernie's Garage, and THANK GOD I did because I don't trust just anybody with my vehicle because it is the life line of my business. The ability to go from an absolute stranger to feeling like family is like nothing I have ever seen and that's why I felt compelled to write this testimonial, and truly I wish I could do more because my experience was so incredibly different than any other I have had with a mechanic.
