Moenkopi Riverworks

Just rented gear through moenkopi and they were amazing! All new boats and new boxes. Great stuff. No complaints on gear. The owners Dave and Andrew were so helpful and easy going and just good people. Kaya was amazing to coordinate logistics with and super organized! Young Gregory was a great shuttle drive and very helpful at the put in. Same with our other shuttle drivers! The warehouse crew was hard working and easy going.
Super great experience and plan to use them again in the future!

These guys are awesome!!! Was offered a super last-minute spot for a 14 day trip with them. Didn't know anyone on the trip prior to launch everyone made me feel super welcome and we all became fast friends. Most of the trip was current or previous MOE staff. All super professional and down to earth people. Will definitely be trying to book again in the future and would recommend highly to others.

We rented three 16' inflatable oar rafts and their accompanying equipment for a 3 week Grand Canyon rafting trip. The boats and equipment performed well and the cost was reasonable. Some of the gear was well used, patched, missing D-rings etc but overall good quality and well repaired. The staff offered explained the gear well, provided useful tips for ranger check-in and packing the boats for our trip. They also came through in a pinch when we needed three life PFDs on short order when several of ours didn't pass the inspection (ours were very old and well used). We would definitely rent from them in the future, good customer service and solid gear.

I recently used Moenkopi Riverworks as our Grand Canyon Colorado River rafting trip outfitter & it was the absolute BEST decision of my entire trip planning process. We went for 16 days in June 2023 with 16 people. Moe’s gear rental, River House rental, client communication, food pack & online client portal were all top notch. We felt supported the entire planning journey & once in Flagstaff the on-site team were amazing to work with. The pricing was extremely reasonable for level of service we received. & do yourself a favor & book in the Rig Night Cajon Boil, you won’t regret it! 10/10 would recommend Moe to any private trip! Can’t wait to use them again!

Just getting back from a 21 day Grand Canyon trip and Moenkopi absolutely exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Stayed at the river house on both ends of our trip ... highly recommend this. You start and end this epic adventure together, can spread out while being connected with one another. Andrew is amazing, so thorough...he did 2 orientations for my team because of late arrivals with questions... that was top notch. Rain drove us to put in for rig day, stayed to do our orientation of equipment and actually cut a mullet for one of our crew lol! Food pack is dialed in thanks to Richard coordinating the menu and Amy for her great work. We stopped prior to leaving Flagstaff to check out the Moenkopi operations and say goodbye! Thanks to all of you for welcoming us into your world, showing us around and loving us back. Brady, you have a solid operation, amazing team and your devotion to your business and exceptional customer service is why I chose you! Thank you for everything. Have a blast on your canyon trip in December you guys. Will definitely be back for another Canyon trip and Moenkopi Riverworks is our outfitter for life!

Our private group used Moenkopi to outfit our 21-day river trip. What an experience! The packing system for the rafts was pretty amazing, the food was delicious, and we had what we needed for our organized chaos. The River House in Flag was a great place for our group to stay. The staff we dealt with were also great, especially Violet, who was absolutely phenomenal! We did get 1 raft with a slow leak (we dubbed her The White Whale; she might be at the end of her life), but it was manageable to deal with and we got sincere apologies for it after we let them know at the end. Semper Gumbi! If I'm ever lucky enough to get to run the river again I'd be happy to be a repeat customer. Thanks for adding to the experience of a lifetime!

Moenkopi is a top-notch outfitter. Everything was great, and they went the extra mile. After going on a Moenkopi outfitted trip in October 2021, I complained about the amount of green bell pepper on the menu, and followed up when giving my input on the menu for another Moenkopi trip in May 2022. For that trip there were NO green bell peppers on the trip AT ALL. I truly felt heard. I'd happily go with them again.

We have used Moenkopi for two of our three trips down the ditch. Both times door to door packages. Everything was amazing. Like others have said, Moenkopi really goes above and beyond expectations. Lots of nice small touches, food is stellar, all gear was in great shape both times. Big shout out to Rain and Wayde!

The river house is a big bonus. Would highly recommend staying there before and after your trip.

Will be using Moenkopi for our next trip coming in 2022.

Just finished a three week Grand Canyon trip and the crew at Moenkopi absolutely crushed it from start to finish. Need a new mullet cut at the put in? Just break out the shears and they got you covered. Need a fresh new shirt? They will literally give you the shirt off their back. Stay at the river house on both ends of our trip was phenomenal as well. Will definitely be back for another Canyon trip and will definitely go through Moenkopi for all gear needs again. I don’t know what to do with my hands.

Just finished my epic river trip on the Grand and I beyond grateful to Moenkopi and the smoothness at which they made the whole process run from start to finish.

I was so impressed with how efficiently all the Moenkopi staff have it dialed in... truly made it the most unbelievable experience of my life (and I also gained a few pounds thanks to the unexpectedly delicious food!!!). Highly recommend this amazing crew to help deliver the experience of a lifetime!

I have done two Grand Canyon trips outfitted by Moenkopi River works. Brady Black the owner and his crew went above and beyond to make the trips great. The gear was perfect for our trips and the shuttles were great.

Moenkopi did an overall great job. They helped us set up our boats, dialed the food except for a few misunderstandings and brought extra umbrellas in case we needed them at the put in. Their house was a great way to wrap up the trip at the end. Their transportation, food, gear rental and accommodations were top quality.

Just off of a 24 day winter trip door-to-door by moe. Completely blew all 16 of our expectations out of the water. From professionalism of the staff, to the food and to the quality of the gear provided. Rob, wade and Austin were awesome and helped us with every step! Would absolutely outfit with them again given the chance. Thanks Brady and the Moe team!

Have rented from them twice and run shuttle with them once. Always friendly and prompt, gear has seen it's fair share of time on the river but the systems are clear and work well.

As an owner of an outfitting service myself I know how much goes in to the service, and how much can go wrong. These guys have it down, are totally open to suggestions, and are all personable and people centered. Nothing ever goes completely as desired on a trip like this but it's nice to know that your outfitter is on to of it and cares about your experience.

Got shuttled on a canyon kayak run for the first time this month with Mo and was very impressed with how organized and communicative they were throughout the experience. Thanks again, Dave!

Great Service. Super Friendly. Makes rafting the Grand Cayon Manageable especially if you dont have all the gear and dont have time for the logistics. They have it dialed. Great price for service as well.
