Staff was very friendly! Food was yummy! Drink was yummy! The flavor of the espresso is more on the sour side, which I prefer bitter, however, they were made correctly and well! We had a very large order with 3 kids and 4 adults!! The staff was 2 people and they were great. Happy the whole time and worked hard to get it all out to us! We had soup, sandwiches and many drinks! Atmosphere was darker than I'd like honestly. And that was the general agreement from the other adults. But it was an enjoyable experience for an out of state patron and we do recommend! Thanks guys!!

It was warm and welcoming when I first walked in. Busy but not loud. Smelled like home cooking. Had a Panini type bread with fantastic soup and I had to try their egg thing. Super yummy. Coffee was good. Still water in a can instead of plastic! Book store on one side, gift shop on the other, I sat in rich leather chairs near quiet people having a meeting, someone working on their laptop (free WiFi) easy parking and board games. So glad someone from the statehouse told me about it.

Sweet Jesus I love this place. I stop by every time I’m in Frankfort and have something amazing to eat and drink. The staff are wonderful. My photos do not do these biscuits justice. The little cinnamon buns are heaven.

Great vibe from the staff. I had questions and the lady answered and made me want to order everything from the menu! Loved the cozy feel. Only one weird dude but I think he was a customer, but never the less that did not take away from the cool feel in there. Definitely must come back!

I was visiting Poor Richard’s Bookstore when I came across this treasure. They are connected so that you can walk from inside the bookstore directly into the café.

The atmosphere, there was fantastic. It honestly felt as if you were walking into someone’s living room. The staff was very personable.

Great atmosphere lovely staff , delicious pastries and coffee. One of the very few places that's open Sunday evening. When we get there the lady was working alone, she had to take orders, make foods and drinks serve and clean up. It was a big line but she handled it great. Highly recommended

Always a friendly and fun atmosphere. Excellent selection of coffees and food. Bourbon Egg Nog is really good.
The live music is always good.
Lots of books to read if you want and a selection of stringed instruments on the wall if your so inclined to play one.
WiFi can be spotty but it's still decent 90% of the time. 😊

Loved this little place for coffee and breakfast. Great atmosphere, cozy with books, soft furniture, and a tiki bar! Really need to go back for cocktails and live music!

Great place in downtown Frankfort on a street full a little businesses. Nice local coffee shop atmosphere. Tables and comfy chairs are available for seating. This coffee shop offers sandwiches, soups and beer and cocktails on top of the coffee products.
Super friendly and helpful.
No matter what you are looking for, you should not hesitate to check this place out.

This place was so cool! Downtown Frankfort is big and very nice. This cafe offers many unique sandwich, wrap, and breakfast options along with their full cafe, and even a Tiki bar?! There are lots of books and a section where it looks like love music happens. Both sides are open to the shops nextdoor. Everything was very tasty. Staff was very nice and attentive.

Incredible spot to stop and grab a hot (or cold) drink and some really good food!

The staff are always friendly and accommodating and the business is very Covid-cautious. They even brought in a fire pit to warm up patrons that want to stick around and done or drink outside.

Cannot recommend them highly enough! (Also, try the Bourbon Apple Cider. You're welcome.) 🥃

Great atmosphere!! Was able to get some school work finished while enjoying a spicy chai tea, Mexican coffee, a baby quiche and a bagel with everything... Cool place!!

I found this gem by mistake! This is truly one of those spots where wonderful staff and service meets good coffee. The little cafe is adjacent to a bookstore and shop with great book selections and gifts. Don’t miss it when I’m Frankfort!

Delicious soups and sandwiches, amazing cocktails, nice beer selection... all in historic downtown Frankfort. What's not to love?

I have been a long time patron of this establishment, and can highly recommend. Anyone that has ever asked me what living in downtown Frankfort is like, my go to reply is "Go have a drink at the Kentucky Coffee Tree Cafe downtown.". Any negative reviews you see here are from folks in a rush from out of town trying to keep up with an itenary for an expensive bourbon tour. Speed isn't the vibe at this location, especially if you don't say the magic words. "HELLO AND PLEASE" If you can master that, you will learn more from the regular patrons here then Google will ever tell you. Not to mention, phenomenal coffee drinks, sandwiches, world class specialty soups, and the very best Cocktails including the best Margarita in Frankfort. I don't hand out praise lightly, check my reviews. Must Stop Spot while in Frankfort. Just remember the magic words.......
