Hot Diggity Dogs

This place was recommended to me, and I’m glad it was! This is a hidden gem!
The staff are friendly, and they make great recommendations (try the slaw on your dog, trust me).
Picnic tables outside, eat in your car, or they have a decent little dining room that is clean and well-appointed.
If you want health food, nah. But if you want delicious, this is the place.

This is my husband's favorite place to eat. He insists they have the best hot dogs around. And if you go on Wednesday's they are only $1.00 each. The staff is very friendly, and it is a cute little diner.

Must stop! We went here last night on a foodie binge and was blown away. The service was excellent, food cooked to perfection and everything was perfectly packaged, something I weirdly appreciate. 9 months pregnant and wanted all the things, so we got footlong hot dogs with everything (they are really a foot long and delicious), giant stuffed tater tots, fried mushrooms, a chocolate shake, deep fried pumpkin roll (my god), AND a funnel cake (ridiculous). This place itself was worth the trip from Michigan!

It was the best, we had great chesseburgers and ice cream, I recommend this place it is bussin.

This place has great food, the cleanest restrooms I've ever seen in a restaurant, and an owner who gives back to the community.

Took a short drive/scenic route home from Ashland to Lexington, stopping off at this amazing roadside diner in US23 in Greenup.

Service was friendly and fast, music was pumping oldies rock, befitting the whole atmosphere. Food was amazingly fresh and hot.

You won't FIND a better burger/hot dog ANYWHERE in the area that competes with the quality and price of Hot Diggity Dogs. Take the trip up the road and get you some... national fast food chains can't touch this..

Stopped in and got dinner for the family last night. The owner was super nice. The restaurant was very clean. The food was awesome. We tried a lot of different foods because everything sounded good and it was! I love the atmosphere and the menu was great. Fair food!!!!!! Need I say more!!! Where else can you get a funnel cake, deep fried Twinkie and some awesome hot dogs, burgers and so much more. Did I mention the milkshake? OMG! New favorite place to eat.

LOVED IT! We were in town from St. Louis. Would highly recommend to anyone. The only thing that would have made it better is if there was a drink refill station in the dining area. Otherwise it was an awesome place to stop!

They have a amazing peanut butter shake and the funnel cake fries are great as well but the thing that keeps me coming back is the hot ham and cheese sandwich

First time there, had been past it many times. We stopped, got the foot long hotdogs (FOOTERS) and onion rings drinks and I think tatter kegs. One of the best hotdogs we ever had, onion rings were great and those tatter kegs , large stuffed tatter tots( I think I got the name right on those) were totally awesome. Would recommend great prices and great food. We will be back..

This place really surprised me. I was not expecting much for a hot dog place. It turned out to be a much more than just hotdogs. They had burgers, desserts, milkshakes, and much more. definitely I’m going back to eat there again.

My kid's and I love the place. Not one complaint! My dog Malibu loves it so much she goes crazy when she sees Pete. Oh and Malibu says they have the best ice cream ever! One of my favorites is the cheese steak sub. If you haven't tried it you should.

Food, (hamburger & fries) were hot and fresh. I ate in the car so don't know about the dinning room. I was from out of town and seen it as I was going by and turned around. I love eating at non-chain restaurants. Would stop by again if in the area.

I stopped a couple weeks ago for the first time. I ordered the stuffed burger. Although I don’t like tomato so I had them made without that it was amazing! I have been back several times I’d like to try other items but the SB is so GOOD! The fried pickles are great as well but keep in mind they are very spicy. I’ve heard great things about the stuffed potato kegs as well but haven’t tried yet. They have a great selection and many “fair” foods that you can’t get around here except during the fair. Maybe I’ll try more if I ever get tired of that stuffed burger but I doubt it 🍔. Also the inside is super clean! I always pay attention to stuff like this as I worked in a restaurant while in high school. Not just the dining area but mainly the food prep area seems very well cleaned and organized. Glad to have them as a local business.

Very good hot dog/hamburger joint. Hand pattied burgers/homemade hot dog sauce/ice cream and the like. Good prices and made fresh. I moved here 3 weeks ago and I've been there 4 times! Can't beat it.

My family and I love their food. For me personally, I think they have the best grilled cheese sandwich and chicken baskets. Customer service is excellent. I had placed an order over the phone. They realized they were out of seasoning for my husband's diggity burger. Called to let him know it wouldn't be the same without it. He picked a different burger and loved it. They went above and beyond. Would highly recommend it.
