Comic Vault

Haven't been here in years but this was the best comic shop I've ever been to. Might make a trip back to Kentucky just to go back for the nostalgia. One of the last real comic shops still in existence.

Was in town and this place was one of the few shops open on memorial day. Going to admit, it's a tight squeeze but this is due to the insane amount on inventory. There are cats, pets not wild, in the store and are super friendly. Owner was nice and very well versed in his inventory. Was a great experience especially in a town so small.

First time taking my son to a comic store. Definitely made it an experience for him! The cashier welcomed him to the" comic" club, which to a 6 year old made him feel like he was extra special. The owner even went out of his way to give him a box to store his very first comic! Great place.

Cool local comic store. Really well organized once you figure it out. I felt like it had pretty good prices. I'll be back

How someone would give this 2 or 3 stars, I have no idea, I assume they aren't used to a shop with personality and shop at the "copy and paste" style shops but my experiences have been really pleasant and they will search the shop for anything and if they come up short on it, they will order it for you right there. Great deals and always helpful. It is a little light on space but it is always filled with friendly and mostly really knowledgeable shoppers that you can tell have been loyal shoppers for a while. I've only been in about 6 times but it beats any of the "clone" shops in Louisville, and better prices by far. Saying that, I just recently got into comic books but I wouldn't shop anywhere else. It's at least worth checking out.-Sol-

Great little comic shop. Make sure to talk with employees about anything you are looking for they are knowledgeable and have a lot more than it appears. Great prices too.

Comic Vault is the best comic shop around, hands down. For over 20 years I have been a customer of Comic Vault and I have never been dissapointed in the customer service provided. You really feel at home when you enter. The owner is highly knowledgeable in all comic ages. Bronze, copper, silver, you name the age he knows a put it. I highly recommend comic book lovers to start a pull list with Comic Vault.

Great selection of mint/rare comics and figurines at amazing prices. Friendly customer service and the cats are always enjoyable. Definitely check this place out if you're a comic book/figurine collector 👍

Friendly and courteous staff that always makes you feel welcome and overly helpful. Will special order anything just for you. They sell comics and other merch at 20% off face value, that is better than any buy 5 get 1 free deal, any day. They keep up with my constantly evolving pull list every week with no misses, and add comics that you may be interested in but have no obligation to purchase. Yes its small, "It may not be Paris, but it has a certain quaint charm that I, for one, wouldn't trade for the world." -Futurama

Come for the comics, but stay for the jokes and the 80-90s authentic atmosphere. In a way the Comic Vault is a treasured time capsule where you can visit to get your comic fix, but also hangout and share your zany conspiracy theories. The prices are always fair and often they will make a deal to help you afford that expensive rare comic you've been eyeing. This isn't your free WiFi having, music playing over speakers kind of comic store. Which is what's so great about it, instead you have personable staff and a owner that makes this place such a treat to visit. If you want your comic fix, but also want an experience, then you need to be at the Comic Vault!

One of the last real comic book stores left. The owner will go out of his way to help you find whatever your looking for. Superior service with great bargains . If your a comic book collector you must go and check it out.

Fun out of the way comic store, with a great owner. Had some real jems here, and a super friendly cat to keep you company while pursuing comic books and collectibles!!! Highly recommended!!!⭐⭐⭐
