This place is amazing! The food is amazing and I'll be back again! I highly recommend the ribs!!! Some of the best I've had EVER!

I ordered a “very” rare sirloin and that’s what I got. It was tender and cooked to perfection. The asparagus was the best I think I have ever had. It was loaded with flavor. I have no complaints

Absolutely love the Armory. Such a fun, friendly restaurant. We love the variety of the menu, the bar area is fantastic, and the facilites/party room are spacious & bright. The smoked meats, appetizers, and fresh salads are incredible. This is truly a great restaurant. The staff put their hearts into service. Our last experience was carry out meals on Valentine's Day! It was delicious and generous!

So, I recently swung by The Armory Smokehouse in Ironton, OH, and let me tell you, it was a solid meal. Nothing fancy, just good old-fashioned comfort food that hit the spot.

I decided to go for the chicken tenders dinner, and man, those tenders were on point. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and that gravy? Oh, boy, it was delicious. The gravy had this savory flavor that just brought everything together.

Now, let's talk sides. The mashed potatoes were creamy and had that homemade taste that I love. They were the perfect match for the chicken and gravy. And the white cheddar mac and cheese? Let me tell you, it was really good. The noodles were cooked just right, and that gooey cheese sauce had me going back for seconds. It's comfort food at its finest.

My dad went for the brisket philly sub, and I gotta say, it was a winner. The brisket was tender and had that smoky flavor that you want in a good BBQ joint. Throw in some melted cheese and sautéed onions, and you've got a sandwich that's hard to beat. My dad was raving about it.

I can't wrap up this review without giving a shout-out to our server, Brooke. She was amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and knew her stuff. She made us feel right at home and took care of us throughout the whole meal. Good service goes a long way, and Brooke definitely nailed it.

All in all, The Armory Smokehouse is a solid spot for some no-frills, delicious comfort food. The chicken tenders dinner with that lip-smacking gravy was a winner, and the mashed potatoes and white cheddar mac and cheese were top-notch. My dad's brisket philly sub was a hit, and Brooke's service made the whole experience even better. If you're in the mood for some tasty eats, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

I was impressed. The Black and Blue salad was delicious. Do yourself a favor and also try the brisket.

I had the fried stuffed mushrooms and they were delicious! For my entrée I had the open faced brisket sandwich. Boy was it good! My waitress was Tina and she was AMAZING! I will ask for her again next time I go.

Jacob, our server, was brilliant and has such an amazing sense of humor! The food was delicious and the atmosphere is actually really warm and inviting. It's a very positive atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend that you try anything on the menu. I know I'll be going back!

Excellent meal recently when I was in town. Short walk from the Marriott & Holiday Inn.

Tonight was our first visit. Very busy for dinner time. We waited about 30 minutes, but it was worth it. Everything we ate was excellent. Ribs, pulled pork, and brisket were all very good. Generous portions and amazing flavor. The brisket was especially impressive. Our sides, sweet potato waffle fries and mac n cheese, were also good. We finished our meal with the giant donut topped with ice cream. It was awesome. I will be coming back to visit the bakery as well. Our server was Shayla and she did a great job. I am very excited for this new restaurant. It is a great addition to the Tri-state. We will be returning very soon.

Stopped in after a meeting and got the western burger and smoked mac and cheese. One of the best burgers I have had in a while. The bbq sauce was excellent and the tomato was fresh like it was just in the garden. Very good prices too.

I highly recommend it. Very cool atmosphere too honoring veterans.

This place was amazing I received a full rack of ribs it was way more than I expected and it fell off the bone I would recommend this place to anyone it was perfect

Great BBQ joint. This was the first time visiting and I'll definitely be back. Big, open dining area with plenty of TV's to watch if there's a game on. One of the most impressive things was their beer list. 26 rotating taps of craft beer and a lot of it brewed in Ohio. I ordered the brisket sandwich and it's up there with some of the best brisket I've had. Really deep red smoke ring all the way around, not to mention the generous portion size. My wife had the Captain Mac (pulled pork mac and cheese) and it was also really good. Great smoke flavor throughout the brisket and the pork. I tried the traditional BBQ sauce and the spicy and they were both super flavorful although the spicy one could use a little more kick IMO. I'll come more hungry next time so I can try some more sides instead of just fries.

I have never had a bad experience here. My favorite is the stinger sausage, so it's my goto. I'm not much on brisket, but theirs is very tasty. Pulled pork nachos are amazing, and the pretzel is a must.

They have the best brisket I’ve ever had. Seasoned to perfection and it falls apart in your mouth. The white cheddar macaroni and cheese is really delicious as well. Not to mention the building is extremely old, neat and a original idea.

The Armory Smokehouse is a great place to go.
Food and service was great. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. We will be back.
Beside it was the Amish bakery. It was closed on Sunday but I got pictures on the outside.

We went during the day when it wasn’t as busy. Very friendly and efficient service. Great food with sizable but not overly large portions. Food was brought out with enough time between to actually not feel rushed. Cool older uniforms in the lobby too.

Great experience! We walked in around 7 PM, and we’re seated right away. The restaurant was configured to ensure proper distance between tables, and all the servers were wearing facemasks. Paper menus were on the table, and you could get any condiment available, but it wasn’t on the table… They would bring you individual packs. In summary, this restaurant was very well prepared to minimize the risk of Covid infection.
Haley, our server, was first class! I highly encourage you to ask to be seated at her station when you visit. All of our meals were fantastic! All the portions were huge, and the prices were very reasonable. I certainly plan to eat here again the next time I visit this town!

Great place all-around, good food good environment good music, beer great southern hospitality. Big difference at the Armory smoke house since new owners and management. It just keeps getting better and better I’d recommend it to everyone.

Loved the atmosphere and the food and service were excellent. So glad to have another first-class operation in the area. Highly recommend!
