Diamond Lake Resort

We loved our super sight. Lots of room, full hook up, nice concrete pad with a picnic table on it and a really nice fire pit. Pizza and Ice-cream shop is always a hit. My son loves feeding the fish and ducks. Go carts are fun. Play ground is nice. Lots of shoddy areas to walk as well. If you like fishing you will love it. Try out their Boo Fest weekends, you won't regret it.

Just really loved our time there, we will be back this coming weekend. On Saturday evening we went to the Pizza shop and was treated well beyond expectations. We ordered two different hunks of pizza and two single orders of wings. We got the wings, and two whole pizzas. I guess it was because is was late Saturday and they were closed Sunday, so they didn't want to keep the rest of the pizza. ❤❤ 🤷‍♂

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Quick to help us setup and address any issues. Allowed us to change our reservations without issue or charge. Lots of activities.
They were decorated all throughout the camp for Halloween and had Trick or Treat for the kids. So fun!! Highly recommend. We will return. Owensboro has neat little gems hidden throughout as well from shopping to dinning. Enjoyed our time there.

I had booked a few sites for my husband birthday weekend. Over all it was amazing! We will definitely be back! All of our kids had plenty to do and I didn't hear them arguing not once! We enjoyed both race tracks, pool, paddle boots, mini golf, pool, fishing, and it was just peaceful driving around in the golf cart. My kids did get in trouble at the go carts due to them not respecting each other they were crashing into others. So I fully back up the staff there for keeping people safe on them tracks! The front office staff was helpful and very kind. Thank you everyone at diamond lake for a great stay! We will be back soon to see you all and we plan on having our kids graduation party there 2024! We have 5 of them total so we will be booking multiple sites again! I see my last name is wrong due to email. I am Nicole Dann :)

This campground was amazing to stay at. They were so accommodating at any request and gave our dog extra loving. The amenities are endless when it comes to things for kids to do. The stretch of campground is beautiful and nice to stroll around. We can’t wait to visit this campground again for a longer stay next time.

It was our first time staying and we had a great time. Staff an every guest we encountered was friendly and helpful. My boys stayed busy the entire time and most importantly they barely touched their phones. Our cabin was perfect including our view. It was peaceful in the morning and at night. The entire trip was relaxing an fun for the whole family. There is so much to do already and having extra events and fun for the kids was a bonus. We look forward to staying again and have been telling all our family and friends about our trip. Even a day trip is well worth the drive as well. Especially if your looking for something affordable for the whole family to do.

Absolutely loved camping here. The pool and splash pad are both great ways to cool off throughout the day. We also watched a movie, played bingo, and drove the go karts. To relax and just enjoy the day we played did the peddle boats, played putt putt golf and went fishing several times. There were so many added activities for everyone to do as well and the long weekend went by quickly. We plan to come again and make this a regular stop on our camping list.

Our stay was over the Labor Day weekend (2023), we had a great time. Our site is in a new part and had lots of room. They had bunches of activities for the kids this weekend and all the staff was very friendly. It’s about a 25 minute drive to downtown Owensboro.

Steer clear of their office employee Kelsey. She’s super inconvenienced by simply just asking for change or for your packages. She likes to gossip and just seems all around unprofessional. Other than that, this place is great! My family enjoyed our month stay here. Even though it gets pretty busy, it’s still quiet and peaceful. We loved all the fun amenities and themed weekends. An all around favorite was feeding the large carp at the bridge! The pizza and ice cream, as well as the employees at the pizza parlor, are fabulous!

We’ve been to many a campground, this was great, plenty of space we weren’t on top of others. We were there during off season. Can’t wait to return.

Our family had so much fun camping at Diamond Lake! Our site was shaded and plenty of room around us. We rode the go-karts several times and had a blast! We loved it so much that I already scheduled another trip in September.

We absolutely LOVE Diamond Lake Resort! Everything you need, full hookups, laundry facilities, shower facilities and loads of events. The small store on site has all the little things you may have forgot for your trip including RV items. Pizza parlor and burgers for those days you don’t wanna cook. They also have mini golf and go cart track! Overall awesome experience. They just got their fur baby area opened(fenced in dog run). My animals had a blast too! Something for everyone or if you’re like me and just wanna be a lazy bones at the camp, plenty of peaceful moments. This review makes me want to go back this weekend!!!

I am really starting to enjoy this place more and more! I loved our site, the hospitality, all the activities, the food options when we feel lazy, the layout that lets me get great walks in with the pups and especially the new dog park! The ice cream at the Pizza Parlor is AMAZING!! Having the campers there to browse through from Owensboro RV was super cool-I hope they plan on changing out the models throughout the season-what a great partnership! Also-super-super communication throughout our stay! Way to step up Diamond Lake! ❤

This Holiday ( July 4th) we brought 6 grandchildren and stayed for 5 days at Diamond Lake Resort. The staff was friendly and we’re always helpful. The grandchildren had a great time and there were so many activities that they never got bored. We were able to purchase a wristband that was good for the entire time we camped and gave the children endless access to Go Karts, Paddle Boats, Miniature Golf, and the NASCAR Karts (only 3 were able to ride those due to height restrictions.). My grandchildren range from 15-9. We also rented a golf cart for 3 days, which helped getting everyone where they wanted to go. They children had a blast even though we had some heavy rain off and on for 3 of those days. Some activities were cancelled, but they tried to reschedule them, if possible..We try to come every year, but this was our first time bringing 2 of our grandchildren who live in NC. They want to come back with us next year!

We will be back! What a beautiful and fun place to stay.
I read one review that said if you got bored it's your own fault and that is the truth! So many activities for all ages to enjoy. Brian and Lisa were so friendly and involved in everything, I saw and spoke to them every day of our stay. I'm pretty sure the campground was completely booked and with that I would have to say for a holiday weekend the staff handled the crowd with friendlness and great service. Teriyaki wings were amazing!

We really enjoyed ourselves this weekend - 1st time at Diamond Lake and it was great to see Brian and Lisa participate in all the activities! Loved everything they had planned and grandsons had a blast. Our 10 month old beagle's 1st camping trip and by the end of the stay - he loved it also !! The dog park is great and we will definitely use it more the next time we visit Diamond Lake. Would like to have been closer to the restrooms - but we learned were the better campsites are (closer to restrooms) and can't wait to book again in the near future. Perfect location, less than an hour away from home.

We were so pleased with this campground! It was very quiet, clean, well maintained! The staff was friendly and helpful! We will share information with our friends and family, highly recommend! We also enjoyed Owensboro- Rudy mines trails. We will be back one day! Thank you!

What an amazing weekend! If you got bored, it was your own fault! The adults had just as much fun as the kids. Everyone we encountered were super friendly (even though they were busy) We had a little hiccup with our shower backing up and I called and asked for a plunger, they sent a plunger with a very sweet lady, then she radioed for a maintenance fella to see if he had another tool we needed. He did & brought it right to us and helped us fix our issue even though he had no obligation to do so (and checked on us the next day to make sure it was still working properly). I really wish I had names! The gentlemen at the goKarts were awesome even though it was hot and a long day. I loved the patriotism throughout the sites and the golf cart parade. We will be back & I truly can’t wait!

The best camping trip we’ve had so far! The themed weekend activities were so much fun! Staff are wonderful and very helpful. Our kids said it was “the best vacation ever!” We can’t wait to go back!!

My family and I camped the entire Memorial Day weekend. We had the best time. We could either sit and relax or go to any of the many planned activities they had the whole weekend. We look forward to staying again in July. Our spot was in the new super sites and we really loved that too.
