El Bracero of Owensboro

El Bracero was recommended by our front desk clerk. So we definitely had to try it out. Oh yeah, it's definitely a place to stop and have your favorite dish.

Clean place with excellent food, and the staff was simply amazing.

The Chipotle Pasta was definitely the best.

Came back and enjoyed another great meal. The menus are sometimes confusing, and then some of the servers don't speak English so they are confuse what you're trying to ask them , then your meal is not what you ordered. But the food was great. 👍

My sister ate here on 12/04/23, She had the vegetable enchiladas, I had a bean & rice burrito topped cheese sauce & lettuce we shared a bowl of the chunky avocado & chips and we ended our meal sharing the sopaipilla. The food was prepared perfect & tasted great. Our server was very good and friendly for a change and the music wasn’t loud so we could sit and talk. We have eaten here often but this was the best experience we have ever had. I don’t know if they have new management or what but I hope they keep up the good work.

Baja Fish Tacos were so good. The mango salsa was sweet and spicy, and the fish was cooked to perfection.

El Braceros is a hidden gem in Owensboro, KY. Not only are the prices competitive, but the portions are generous and will leave you taking home leftovers to eat later.

The service is quick, attentive, and overall speed to get food is average for a sit down style Mexican restaurant.

They have a pretty abundant menu so you will have plenty of choices when it comes to finding something new to try.

One of our favorite Mexican spots in town. They definitely have the fastest service around and everything I've ever ordered has been on point with a lot of food. My two year old loves the cheesy rice.

MY NEW MEXICAN RESTAURANT!!! The food was high quality, but priced like other mexican restaurants. The place was clean, and the service was great. Can't believe I waited this long to try the place out. The place was busy but we was seated right away.

Excellent tasting food and great service. They have great lunch specials and their salsa is especially good if you like a smoother salsa. The queso dip was also very good though you will need extra chips to have the whole thing.

Best Mexican restaurant in this area. You get your money's worth.

Dine in Lunch... stopped in for a quick lunch.. the menu has loads of great choices. But I chose to simply grab 3 ALA CART TACOS. I ordered 2 SOFT CHICKEN TACOS ($2.50 each) & 1 MEXICAN STEAK TACO (3.99?). They came out quickly and were absoutly loaded with tender tasty meats.. I must say I was impressed with the presentation. The Tacos were arranged nicely on the platter along with extra Cilantro, a Spicy Taco Sauce, Extra Chopped Red Onion, Fresh Lime, Fresh Radish & a grilled Spring Onion for Garnish.. My experience in most Mexican Restaurants is that the three TACOS would have simply been placed on a plate with no garnish or care to presentation.. so this was a Wow!.. The housemade SALSA was delicious and had a fresh but lovely developed flavor. The CHIPS were fresh & warm & had just the right amount of flavor. My server was very friendly, knowledgeable & took great care of me. This was my first visit but will not be my last.

Very good!!!! We went for a late lunch. Ordered 2 chimichanga lunch specials. Order was served fast! Salsa and chips are awesome! We had a good table server also, I think his name is Wilbert. Definitely remembering this place next time we are in Owensboro.👍😉

Carne Asada taco’s are just traditional steak Mexican tacos, the onion, cilantro & hot sauce come on the side so add a little bit or none at all. I added a lil pico to mine. Get them with traditional soft corn or flour shell. In my opinion this restaurant tops all other Mexican restaurant in the tristate. If I lived out of town I’d be taking special dinner trips here like I do to Chicago! 😋 keep the mojo of the cuisine!!!! Keep it real!!! 😋

Dang this place is good! I live in Nashville and work downtown and have been to almost every Mexican restaurant in town and nothing touches the service and freshness of El Bracero! Coldest beer in town and excellent food. Good job team!! 🦜

A great place to eat. Good food and service. I highly recommend this place for authentic Mexican food.

We had a very nice lunch here with the whole family. Wait staff was very kind and accommodating, even when our toddler managed to pour out his water onto the floor. (Sorry about that!) Food was excellent! Sure to be a regular stop for us when we pass through.

Loved the food and had a really nice waiter.

Food was exceptional. The attentiveness of the staff was impressive. I highly recommend this place because you get a big bang for your buck. Will be going back again.
