Big Dipper

Stopped by for supper after work and the food was absolutely fantastic! Then grabbed a large chocolate shake to enjoy while sitting along the bank of the Ohio river. Will definitely be stopping by again! ❤❤

They have been a staple in Owensboro for years. The food is consistently good and reasonably priced. They now take credit cards, but expect a 3% service fee to use one.

Foods good here. Service was good here and they were very quickly to get my order out. I really appreciate it.

The Big Dipper is a classic from my childhood. I always order a cheeseburger thru the garden, onion rings, and a caramel milkshake. It just doesn't get any better than that.

My grandson loves their pig in a blanket and onion rings but this time the onion rings were over cooked all in all it's a great place to dine

Highly recommend the grilled pimento cheese and the chili! Chocolate malt was outstanding too! Terrific prices on delicious food with an atmosphere that takes you back to a simpler time.

Food good as always, service seemed slow, got part of our order wrong. Oh and the sausage and a bun is a sausage pattie and a hamburger bun. I was thinking a polish sausage on a hotdog bun. Meh.

Wonderful fast food and especially nice now that they are finally taking card payments!

Big Dipper is a wonderful place to eat at. Big Dipper has great and good Food there. I put my application in Big Dipper yesterday for a job. Everyone who works there are very nice and friendly.

In all my 67 years I have never had a better burger than the Big Dippers Big Boy burger. I only wish they would go national so I could have one every week of the year.

An old favorite no frills restaurant. Great burgers and ice cream treats. There is no indoor eating and only one table outside to sit and eat. Best cherry coke !!

Dippers always packed but always fast! Food is worth the wait and the prices are very fair. Staff is always extremely kind. We visit regularly as a family of 6!

Get yourself a strawberry milkshake.....it will change your life! They use real strawberries, and it's just the right consistency to drink it.

I am writing this review because of comparison. I just recently ordered a gallon of chili from Ole South BBQ.

Compared to your chili... your chili deserves to be eaten during all months of the year! Sadly, due to the inconvenience of chili only being served during cold months, I had to settle with theirs. It was terrible. Probably the worst chili attempt I have ever had in my 29 years of life.

It made me appreciate your chili so much that here I am. Good job Big Dipper for making good chili.

I went to Huddle House. Not the Dipper and it was just so so nothing to brag on
