TownePlace Suites by Marriott Owensboro

Had an excellent stay! Staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay went smoothly! Kind and quick to help! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, previous hotel stays at other places in this area didn’t go nearly as well. I’d recommend Townplace Suites to anyone who is looking for a friendly accommodating, excellently located hotel! Near the best restaurants and shopping in Owensboro but not on an overly busy street! Love it!

Rooms are excellent and clean. Everything is well stocked All of the rooms have a two burner stove built-in microwave and full size fridge. Large flat screen television pulls away from wall and tilts towards your bed for easy viewing.

Our rooms were very clean and the staff were so nice to me ! And helpful!, we stayed for 5 days, this is definitely such a good location as well! Love this hotel- highly recommend if you’re staying in the Owensboro area!

This was the best place i think i have ever stayed. It was super quiet, even though there was a youth hocky team staying here as well. I mean, once i was in my room, i heard zero outside noise. The room was very clean, and the bed was amazing,

It has everything you need for an extended period as well. The dtaff was very friendly and helpful. MS. shelby was the perfect host and recommended some awesome places to dine. This was truly an unexpected stay, and was very welcoming as well.

Zero security cameras, outside of the facility so basically zero security for you when you’re outside and your vehicles or any trailers, you’re hauling belongings. Our vehicle along with three other trucks were broken into. in the early hours of 10/1/2023. The police have asked Marriott to please install security cameras for the past year and still no security. The rooms are excellent. The facility is excellent except for the fact zero security for your vehicles and you there are a few cameras on the inside of the building but like I said absolutely zero outside.

Love this hotel! Have stayed here on numerous occasions and will continue to stay here whenever in town. Staff very friendly and professional. Clean rooms. Great breakfast.

Very warm welcoming staff, always greeted us with a smile. All of the staff were super friendly and and very helpful with any questions we had and were more than happy to pass on recommendations.

Fairly new hotel, there is going to be some hiccups being brand new. The person working the front desk, her name is Moon. First off, she will be running her own hotel soon. She was handling a very difficult phone call and her level of patience and professionalism was wonderful. She was also very helpful upon checkin, had a lot goin on but handled it with ease and you can genuinely tell she cares about the quality of experience that the guests received. I wish Marriott had sent me an opportunity to review my stay. This hotel is great but their staff overall was above and beyond! Give Moon a promotion.

Very nice, very quiet location. We just didn't stay long enough. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's on my agenda to go back and stay longer.

We have stayed here multiple times since it opened. It is always our first choice when we visit Owensboro. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable and the suite is large enough for a family of four to be comfortable to move around, bring back a meal, or just relax and recharge before getting back out to enjoy this amazing big “small town”. Breakfast downstairs is pretty good also. The location is perfect for the places we typically frequent and convenient to just hop on the bypass. 👍🏻 👍🏻

The night manager was exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to care for my family. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the environment relatively quiet in a convenient location.

PLEASE NOTE - the hotel is often marked in the wrong location on Google Maps. Check out the satellite overlay. If you get off the expressway onto Pleasant Valley road, at the light, it is a right turn (to the south west) and not a left turn as Google maps often indicates.
I had notified Google of the wrong placement and they said they would fix it, but the marker remains next to the school and not where the hotel is.
The hotel is visible from the highway, and you can check out the satellite image to see there is no hotel under the marker to make sure it is still showing in the wrong spot.

Otherwise the hotel is awesome. Enjoy my stay every time.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and always enjoy my stay. The hotel is nice and my room is always clean, but it is the staff that makes the difference. Today was my birthday, and when i checked in, the staff presented me with a birthday cake and sang me the birthday song. That is First Class service from a staff that cares about their guests and knows how to make you feel at home when you are away from home. I would give them 10 stars if i could.

New hotel! GPS not set for new bldg. Off highway exit set back so its quiet. Staff makes the hotel! GM inspect rooms, night Auditor is friendly. The evening shift always made sure I was happy. Rooms clean, beds comfy.

I stay in a lot of hotels, primarily Marriott properties. The staff here is excellent. The general manager,curt, is absolutely wonderful to deal with. Goes out if his way to speak to everyone. Really makes a hotel experience feel more at home. Clean property, nice amenities, free breakfast, located in the perfect place. Close to everything yet private.

Mo the manager is very friendly I even seen him change the trash instead of having someone else do it always doing walk arounds to check the hotel I’d definitely come back because of his customer service

Fab staff clean comfortable rooms centrally located you can literally walk to the cinema and stores. I also viewed a public bus come pick up a guest. Saltwater pool, nice weight room, walking sidewalk alongside the road just doen the hill. Pets welcome.

New, so everything is top notch! Big patio space with 2 grills to use, outdoor pool, big dining area and the suites have everything one would need! Even a door hanger that mentions cats in the room, if applicable! Everyone was friendly and very attentive. Definitely coming back! :)

Very modern and beautiful rooms. Enjoyed my stay here very much. Great amenities and close by to a Starbucks! Reasonably priced rooms. Rooms have kitchens with apartment sized refrigerators, small dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, small range top. Also have dishes, silverware 🍴 and pots/pans. They also supply a small dish soap, towel & potholders.

Very nice and clean hotel. The beds are comfortable, the pool was great, very nice fitness facilities. Staff was extremely helpful. Very convenient location. Would definitely stay here again.
