Scobee Funeral Home

I couldn't be more comfortable with a funeral home as i was with them. They were compassionate, caring and professional. They took their time with us as we made our choices on what we needed. I would recommend them to anyone.

Scobee Funeral home was a blessing to our family. They are courteous, sympathetic, very professional, and making sure you have everything you need during this time of loss. I recommend the highly.

Funeral was set for 1:00pm. Husband's family told them to start early. I thought the wife was next of kin and was the one to change times. There were 3 of my friends who came Lexington that missed the service due to the way things were done. I was told by the funeral home it was to be 1:00. My brother who was a pall bearer didn't get to do his part. Husband was lowered in the ground before I could get to his graveside. Won't use this funeral home nor will I recommend it. A couple of my friends that live in Winchester missed the service because it started early. My friend from Nicholasville missed all but half the last some of the last song. I'm not happy how things were handled and neither were my friends. Said it should not have started til one and that I should have been the one to tell them to when to start that all my friends were not there. It was posted on obituary funeral was to be at 1:00pm.

If I could I'd give zero stars. The funeral director was rude to a family who was also in the cemetery (unsure why he thought yelling at another grieving family was appropriate) and he smelled of alcohol.
