LOVED IT! VERY CLEAN!

Let me start by saying that I know I am going to sound crazy about cleanliness, but...

At the start of the Pandemic, our household in Illinois had to fight off bedbugs (it took us almost a year to get rid of them for good, and we had to replace ALL of our furniture). Plus, my daughter and I got Long Covid during the Pandemic. So we have gotten very, VERY paranoid about cleanliness when we travel. We even flip the mattresses and check under those. (These were spotless and clean at this hotel.)

Despite our usual anxieties related to travel and germs/bugs, my whole family felt very, VERY safe, relaxed, and comfortable while here-- even my daughter who has OCD. She walked into the hotel wearing her mask, but left without it on.

The staff kept up the highest standards. We even saw them cleaning the A/C unit (way beyond just wiping off the top and knobs, they went down to Q-tip level of detail) and getting quite detailed while cleaning another room. I was VERY impressed.

Their breakfast bar is nice and has a lot of options. The bacon was not great and kind of rubbery, but that was my *only* complaint about both the food and my entire hotel stay.

The food staff went out of their way to help me make a pot of my favorite tea with the hottest water from the kitchen. The entire staff were always friendly, warm, and helpful.

I can not recommend them enough.

I must say I'm very impressed. From the lady at the front last night who was just so sweet and helpful. To being greeted with a good thorough smell of cleanliness as I open my room door and bring my things inside. But ultimately, for me, what set this stay apart from the other is the time the house keeper took to write a note thanking us for our stay aswell as telling us how clean they hope the rooms are for us. It just shows a level of pride that most places and people lack. This will be where I stay when I'm in the area.

My sister, niece and I stayed here two nights while visiting family in the area. Everytime I came through the lobby the employees were working very hard cleaning something - mopping the floor, cleaning the elevator, etc. I actually told the lady at check out that I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel and seen so much cleaning going on. Free breakfast was nice, beds were comfy and I really need some of those pillows for my house! Unfortunately, we were too busy to try the pool or fitness area but both areas looked clean and welcoming.

Easy to find, lots of shopping and restaurants in this location. Hotel was clean outside and inside. Room was clean but some light bulbs were out. They stop breakfast at 9, so... the pool looked small... didn't use because filled with kids.. the elevators worked, the halls were clean and quiet and for a big holiday weekend, I never herd-seen-or experienced any thing negative here. Definitely a decent place to stay for the night.

Good gym. Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast, and clean rooms. Old school notes inside the room upon arrival is refreshing by todays standards. Easy access to everything, and highway.

My room was very clean. Great location to stay, plenty of food options and things to do close by. Elite air and a bowling alley are in walking distance as well, so was fun for my kids. Breakfast had plenty of options, loved that they had fresh options. I absolutely loved the waffle maker, they was the best part of my day.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff! We visit our daughter and live 4 hours away. This is where I'll always stay. This was our second stay at this location. Also can't forget they have great breakfast!

The staff here are among the top 5% of all hotel staffs in the world. I have stayed in many hotels from working construction for years, and I don't hand out good reviews. These ppl earned this review with every interaction, every hot breakfast, and by having every part of the hotel clean and cozy at all times. The front desk helped me from the 1st phone call I made to the last goodbye 4 days later. Yell should take really good care of this crew.....they are operating your hotel at the highest possible level......my entire stay was perfect.

This was a very nice place. The staff was very friendly. You got a breakfast buffet with your stay, it was very good. There was a pool inside. Would definitely stay there again.

The complimentary breakfast is Outstanding! Best bed we've ever had better than home. We'll be back! Highly recommend.

Breakfast is great here, with healthy options immediately available. The dining room is kept really clean, and the hot items are really delicious. I made myself a nice toasted English muffin with eggs, bacon and ham three mornings in a row. The apples they provided were really great quality too, gala / golden delicious. I'd take a picture of my plate, but there's nothing on it anymore! Thanks Betty, for your polite "good morning" greetings on top of your attention to cleanliness and freshness. My crew and I appreciate your work. We really enjoyed starting our mornings a full belly and our friend, Betty!

One of our favorite locations when traveling. We recommend this destination to our family and friends.

I wanted a nice hotel where my family would feel welcome and comfortable. When we got settled in, we were definitely impressed by the cleanliness of our room. I had booked for 4 people and they made it perfect for us. I'm usually very picky when it comes to booking a room. I was also very impressed with the hospitality and wide range of food to choose from during breakfast. I will definitely be booking another stay with y'all! Thanks for being awesome 😎

Traveled for work and spent the week here. The staff was amazing overall and very friendly. Hallie specifically went above and beyond to help me out with answering specific questions i had about the area and spe ifically about dinner ideas or locations. Will definitely recommend this hotel for friends and family staying in the area.

Lauren does a great job with the breakfast area. It is always well-maintained and a good variety each morning. We are here for our basketball season and during training camp we have our player’s stay here.

Wow! Very impressed with the friendly, helpful staff. It’s clean and comfy everywhere we go. Kudos to Lauren for these wonderful breakfasts! Convenient to so much retail and restaurants

Great hotel! The room was spotless and very friendly staff. The only complaint is the mattress was too soft I'm used to a firm mattress. The breakfast was great as well.

The staff is very cordial and respectful. The room is nicely designed, the only compliant I have which isn't a complaint just a "why is that". The bathroom doesn't have a vent fan so showers is a foggy mess afterwards. Other than that this location has all creature comforts.

We love staying here when in Owensboro for a visit.

I would like to say thank you to Celena the young lady who cooks and prepares the breakfast each and every moving it is a pleasure to wake up and smell her cooking from my room I love the attention that she gives to each and every guest her attention to details and keeping her work area clean is phenomenal the Marriot hotel chain should look for and hire more people like her she is a true in inspiration to the quality of life that we all seek and deserve. thank you so much Darryl Gibson
