Holiday Inn Owensboro Riverfront, an IHG Hotel

I had the pleasure of working at Holiday Inn Riverfront with my company, Hawkins Carpet Cleaning, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The staff were on point, knowing exactly what needed to be done, and the rooms were prepped and ready for us. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with Holiday Inn Riverfront and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed stay.

Barbara was great at check in and Emily the bartender was awesome. Food and service at the Burger Theory was great. Will be back and stay here again.

Nice (Ohio) river view, visited to see Riverwalk in Christmas decoration. Really nice. Room was clean. All was expected. Bar and breakfast with good food! Secure rooms.

Tentative staff, great location overlooking the Ohio River, breakfast was amazing compared to other Holiday Inns and I have stayed in over 200 of these hotels in the past 15 years so make of that what you will...!!! I will be back here, thanks

This hotel is one of the best places to stay in the area. The restaurant (burger theory) is always great. Request a river view room-- you won't be disappointed. There are balconies that overlook the river in these rooms.

What an impressive Holiday Inn!
The back patio is an amazing spot to hang out if you are in town with others. There is a restaurant in the lobby and the river is so close. The view are great from the windows. Good service too, the front desk clerk was friendly to talk with in passing during our busy weekend.

Awesome hotel on the river. Gorgeous view. The bridge over to Indiana is a wonderful sight at night!

This hotel is hands down one of my favorite hotels on the planet. I love coming here and watching the boats go down the river. The food is nice, and people who work here. Lots of fun events at the convention center next door. This hotel will always get my vote.

Barbara at the desk was so helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast coupons provided a delicious breakfast! The staff was helpful and friendly.

A very very nice hotel. It has a restaurant and a bar. Location is very good. Highly recommended.

We attended the college graduation of our grandaughter and spent the night before at the Holiday Inn. We spent the night in a spacious room that was clean and fresh. All the staff was friendly and eager to help. It was a very relaxing night.

This is an excellent hotel. Brought my daughter and her friend for her birthday, and the front desk gentleman was very kind and accommodating. Very clean room, bathroom was clean, and the balcony river view was spectacular!! The pool is very big as we had to ourselves. The only issue I could find was the bottom of the pool had algae still in spots but my kids didn't care. Definitely will be back again!

Came down this past Sunday to visit family and I have to say that this is a very beautiful place. And the riverfront is even better. Great location. Very nice room and balcony. Will come back.

We, with Rotnreviews, are here for a haunt tour/ convention called Fear Expo. This is the hotel we booked, and I must say it is absolutely beautiful! Great service. Extremely clean and lovely room.

What a great place! We were in a bind because we had a small animal with us, yet our previous hotel closed their pool before we arrived (which was a major reason my wife and kids wanted to stay there!). Another issue with our previous hotel was scheduling conflict with checkout and my work obligations. My wife and kids were going to have to be in limbo for nearly four hours! However, Holiday Inn came to the rescue! I swung by in the morning before my meeting to check on room statuses and pet-frindliness. They had rooms but we're not typically set up for pets, but Barbara went the extra mile and reached out to her manager and got it worked out! Also, she let my family check in early so there was no limbo between hotel transitions! I can't say enough good things, especially about Barbara who assisted us. I highly recommend Holiday Inn!

The rooms were clean. We could walk to the conference and everything else was a short drive.
The only thing I didn't like is there were no privacy curtains on the windows.

We no longer live in the area, so we decided to drop the kids off with family for a night to celebrate our anniversary. I must say that from start to finish this was an A+ experience. We were upgraded to a king size suite because it was our anniversary, and it was amazing! The suite was equipped with a balcony, bedroom, kitchenette, living room, and bathroom. My favorite part of the room was the spectacular views from the balcony. I also enjoyed the convenience in strolling the river walk and eating at a nearby restaurant. Thank you Holiday Inn for providing a much needed, relaxing evening away from home!

What a great hotel, with an amazing view of the Ohio river. Staff is courteous and kind, hotel is clean. Only issue (which is not the fault of the hotel) is the smell of the industrial area from the east depending on how the wind blows.
