Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Owensboro/Waterfront

We stay here every Christmas in one of the nicer rooms with a view of the river. It's a pleasant experience every year. The continental breakfast is one of the best you will find.

I have worked in the hospitality industry for decades and this is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in, worked in or opened where I did not hear a noise from the other guests, no footsteps from the room above (on a sold out holiday weekend), no doors slamming or kids running the halls. I was very impressed with this! Hotel is within walking distance to everything we needed, which was great when traveling with two kids. The staff was so friendly and welcoming during our stay. I definitely recommend this hotel and we are planning a return trip.

Stay here 1-2 nights a month and I’m treated as a valued customer and they really go out of their way to take care of me. Great dinner spot and just always a great experience.

I can't think of a better place to stay in Owensboro than this hotel. It's fresh and feels new, with large guestrooms and beautiful views of the Ohio River. There are several restaurants nearby and one on the premises. Breakfast is included, and there is plenty of parking. Front desk staff were very nice and provided an easy check-in and checkout process. Great location and a quiet place to relax and enjoy the city!

Perfect! Great location and clean. The service at breakfast is exceptional. The restaurant connected to the hotel is fantastic. There is an Aveda salon in the hotel also. I love staying here when I’m in town!

Great location on riverfront. Airshow was fantastic. Beautiful hotel. Rooms nice size, big TV, large shower. Nice view!!

Everyone working here was so nice. Easy to walk to all the downtown restaurants and hot spots. Very clean. The restaurant connected to the hotel had live music the 2 nights we stayed there which was very fun

This is my second time staying at the Hampton Inn in Owensboro. I wish all my experiences with hotel travel, or such as the one at this location, from check in to the room, cleanliness to the overall condition of the property he can tell this hotel has sent the mark for business travelers I would stay there every time I come through this area I wish all Hampton inns would look into how this property is run because it is fantastic.

Definitely one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything was clean and updated. Lady at the front desk was wonderful. Pool area was nice, and they actually had pool towels available. The view of the water is spectacular. I won't stay anywhere else when in Owensboro.

Always greeted me with a smile and acknowledged me as a hilton owner's member. Up to date clean professional and accommodating.

Travel for business. Updated and very clean. I Try to take the stairwell as much as possible. They have one of the best stairwells. Carpet and neat design and very clean! Room was very clean.

The boardwalk near the river, behind the hotel is a great place to walk. Felt safe and it’s a beautiful design. Very close to some great restaurants. Wonderful restaurant attached to the hotel as well. Had the lobster bisque. Delicious and great service.

Very nice hotel located in a great place. We had a wonderful view of the Christmas lights at Smothers Park. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the patio door being wide open due to the wind and our thermostat was reading 45° when we came in. It took 24 hours for our room to get warmer. The management provided us with a small space heater, which was appreciated. We had a great Christmas holiday visiting family and the service here was very good!

Bathroom could use some more maintenance. Shower door leaked onto the floor. Overall very good though.

Always a great stay when i pop up in June for OMGCon. I love the way the beds feel, and the room is comfy every time i walk in, cause it's during summer, and the cold AC feels so good. Can't recommend enough.

I want to thank the staff Sam, Lavonne, and Shelby for making my stay so pleasant. The are clean, the breakfast each morning is excellent and everything is matched with a friendly smile. Thank you for such a wonderful week ❤

Stayed here for a conference and the place was well kept and very clean. The Staff here was great and very friendly and always made sure they took care of your request. I want to thank the Staff for doing an amazing job.

My husband and I stayed here because it was next door to the concert venue. I have never been disappointed with a Hampton Inn and that still stands. The room was so clean and the staff was so kind. (I am a nurse by trade and I am picky about cleanliness)

We had a lovely experience. The lobby area is very nice and our king, river view room was nice also. The convenient, centralized placement was also appreciated. We would recommend and plan on returning in the future.

One of the best Hotel stays we have had. Could not have wanted more. Will definitely return.
