Holiday Inn Express Lexington East - Winchester, an IHG Hotel

We stayed here the night before hiking at the gorge and were super impressed with how clean and modern this hotel was! Jennifer at the front desk was amazing, so friendly and welcoming and Nan’s breakfast was fresh! She was so nice. Jasmine made checkout a breeze.

Beautiful location. Was a last minute stop for us and Jennifer greeted us as we walked in. She listened to our wants of a quiet room away from others & got us in a top floor corner. From the moment you walk in, it's inviting and clean. Thankful for the many plug in options in the room too. Only one small issue was, the music playing in lobby in the morning was loud & no one knew how to turn it down so the TV at breakfast didn't have to be so loud, but breakfast had something for everyone. Was so nice to have oatmeal & fruit as an option and the breakfast host was a spitfire keeping up with everyone. (Sorry, we didn't catch her name.) Thank you for a great stay!

We were doing interstate travel and needed a place to stay. Saw a couple of reviews describing this hotel being behind a trash dump and located in a not so good shopping center and we were a bit leery. Those reviewers must have come in the hotel in the dead of night. From the highway this hotel is bright and shiny, but Google direction led us, not through the main entrance but through the back of the shopping mall, where the dumpsters are. The hotel is right next to a movie theater full of cars and people, and the shopping mall is very lively during the day. We felt safe after all. The hotel is very new, clean, and comfortable, and the staff are down to earth friendly. The lady who cooked and served us breakfast makes the best biscuits that we have eaten within the last month and about 15 different hotels of travel so thank you!!

Always stay here when visiting the bestie in KY. Super sweet staff. A movie theater right next door. And we had a great view of fireworks on the fourth of July here.

Very clean, and the breakfast service was great! Real, tasty omelets with cheese and salsa on the side - in a hotel? Awesome! Great job guys, you make me happy I always stay in ihg hotels.

They went out of there way , above and beyond to make my parents stay very comfortable . The Breakfast was Awesome. Some restaurants near by. And close to the interstate .

This is the best Holiday Inn we’ve stayed in. So clean, beds and pillow and sheets are the best. Just a great stay! ( breakfast is good too!)

This was the best hotel I stayed at. The lady at the desk was fabulous came an hour early and she checked us right in. We was able to come to our room and relax. I told her about my prior nights experience and she said if we had any problems to please call the front desk. The room was super clean and we was very satisfied with this hotel. Yes it was a little more pricy but well worth the extra money. Would highly recomend this hotel to anyone visiting. I will be staying here from now on and spend the extra money!

The GM is absolutely the sweetest and most helpful person! I will definitely be staying here more often while in town.

Nicest hotel I’ve been to in awhile. Staff is amazing, responsive, and helpful! Smells amazing and clean as soon as you walk in. Room is spacious with very comfortable beds and pillows. Room is very clean and no question that they change the sheets and duvet covers. Pool is nicely heated and clean! Breakfast in the morning was good and plenty of options for just a hotel! I would definitely book here again!

Welcomed as soon as walked in front door. Lobby was clean and the room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Room temperature was good. Only thing did not like was the water. That is not the fault of hotel but locality utility. Did not feel like soap rinsed off. Other wise everything was excellent about the hotel.

Great Hotel! The only issue is they don't have suites if that's what you need.

Great staff!! Upon arriving, the hotels electric key system was down but that didn’t stop them from great customer care
KC was extremely professional and courteous. She took me to my room with the hotel’s master key to let me in and brought me my keys to my room immediately after the system was up and running again

Booked a room via the 1 800 number. Arrived to find out I had no reservation. Cassy at the front desk was extremely helpful, patient, and kind. So glad she was able to sort it out. Clean rooms, great breakfast selection.

Very friendly staff, rooms and lobby were clean and very well maintained. There is also an amazing breakfast in the morning to please even the pickiest of eaters. I will definitely stay again when I find myself back in town.

All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and the pool is big enough to swim around in or let the kids burn off some energy. Good value for the money, and easy location for restaurants and stores if needed.

Liz is the breakfast manager and takes a lot of pride in her job she is extremely friendly!!!
But I’m going to tell you that you must read the pancake machine how to make them because if you skip a step she will throw you under the bus and let everyone know in the dining room you messed up. Everyone need Liz in their morning to start their day.

Check in with AJ was so pleasant, which was nice since we were exhausted from long drive. Compared to last place we stayed near Lexington KY, this is 5 stars! Clean rooms, nice layout, updated bathroom, nice desk and luggage area. Comfortable beds and selection of pillows. Only downside is traffic noise from interstate, so bring ear plugs or white noise 🤔
